Chapter 11 The Class Yearbook

The thugs had said the one who sold me out was my classmate.

I looked around without a change in expression. In the self-study room, classmates were either chatting in twos and threes or cramming last-minute recitation. It all looked peaceful.

Who was it?

Don't rush, Qin Song, I reminded myself. I was already getting closer to the truth. Devils always hid in the details. Only if I found the source could I truly reverse this fate.

During the break, class beauty Xia Lin came looking for Zhou Su with a booklet in her arms. The classmates behind her complained.

"What era is this? Who still uses a Class Yearbook? Isn't QQ easier?"

"What do you know? This is ritual." Xia Lin looked at Zhou Su, her face red. "When we look back later, it'll all be good memories."

"Oh-ho, making us write is just an excuse. You just want Zhou Su to write, don't you? Haha!"

I jerked my head up.

Back then, the only place I had ever written my home address was in the Class Yearbook!

Usually, to make it easier for Grandma to set up her stall, we lived over at Second Grand-Aunt's. We had only moved back these last few days.

Xia Lin's dad worked at a bank. I had signed up for an event at that bank, hoping they could help Grandma break her bad habit of hiding money at home.

She knew my address, and Grandma's habit.

Two necessary conditions... Xia Lin met both.
