BLACKWOOD ACADEMY
Black-and-white illustrated map of a walled school campus laid out along stone paths, with detailed drawings of individual buildings, dense trees around the edges, and a decorative border that includes runes and a large dragon near the lower left.
The map is oriented with the main entrance gate at the bottom and the largest academic halls and dormitories arranged along and beside the main paths leading upward through the grounds.
Overall layout and paths
A tall wrought-iron gate with stone pillars stands at the bottom center as the main entrance. From this gate, a broad cobblestone path runs straight upward through the campus, branching diagonally in several places to reach different buildings.
The buildings are drawn in a front-facing architectural style, each labeled with a dark rectangular nameplate containing light capital letters.
Trees, shrubs, and small lawns fill the spaces between structures, forming a wooded border around the entire campus.
The outermost top edge of the map is framed by an ornate border of intertwined branches, roots, and angular rune-like symbols.
Major regions and labeled buildings, from bottom to top
1. Main entrance and southern buildings
Directly above the gate, the main path passes between trees and then splits diagonally left and right.
Bottom left: “BONESTROD HALL.”
A large, rectangular stone building with arched windows and a central arched doorway. It has a steep roof and sits among thick trees.
Emerging from the trees just above and to the left of Bonestrod Hall is a large dragon with outstretched wings, long neck, and tail, drawn in dark ink. The dragon’s body overlaps the wooded area and partially covers the left border.
Slightly above Bonestrod Hall and closer to the central path: “SHED.”
A small, simple rectangular structure with a pitched roof, tucked among trees beside a short side path leading off the main walkway.
Across the path from the shed, to the right: “ELYSIUM HALL.”
A large, cathedral-like structure with tall spires, a large circular window or clock on the front facade, and many arched windows. It stands behind a line of trees and is reached from the main path by a side walkway.
Bottom right, below Elysium Hall: “DALEMONT HALL.”
A tall, multi-story building with many windows and pointed gables. It has a central entrance with steps and is surrounded by trees and a low wall or edging along the path.
2. Central academic core
Moving upward from the entrance, the main path reaches a large domed building at the center of the map.
Center: “LIbrARY.”
A grand circular structure with a large dome, columns along the front, and a central arched doorway with a decorative gate. Short stairways and low walls connect it to the main path, which splits around the building and rejoins above it.
Left of the Library: “ASCENDED QUARTERS.”
A tall, chapel-like building with a high central tower, narrow vertical windows, and pointed spires. It is framed by trees on both sides and sits just off the main path.
Right of the Library: “MEMORIUM.”
A long, low building with a row of arches along the ground floor and a tower at one end. Trees surround it, and it is reached by a short side path from the main walkway.
To the right of Memorium, slightly lower and closer to the right edge: “GAZEBO.”
A small, open-sided pavilion with a pointed roof, standing among trees on a small clearing.
3. Mid-campus halls and yard
Above the Library, the main path opens into a large rectangular open space labeled “MAIN YARD.”
The yard is enclosed by a low wall or edging and contains a central circular feature with a stag’s head or antlered crest on a pedestal. The ground inside the yard is patterned like stone or grass strips.
Directly above the Main Yard: “ASPHODEL HALL.”
A long, stately building with a central entrance, multiple windows, and a low roofline. It is set back behind a short forecourt with trees.
To the left of the Main Yard: “HOLSTERD.”
A large house-like building with a central doorway, gabled roof, and decorative trim. It is surrounded by trees and connected to the main path by a short walkway.
To the right of the Main Yard: “IVORY.”
A similarly sized building with a broad front, multiple windows, and a steep roof, also set among trees and reached by a side path.
Below Asphodel Hall and directly below the Main Yard are two adjacent buildings:
“CHAMBERS & FIDDLE.”
Two joined house-like structures with separate gables and doorways, sharing a central area. They face the Main Yard and are connected by a short path.
4. Upper campus halls
To the left of Asphodel Hall, near the top: “PETTYWORTH.”
A large, rectangular building with a steep roof, dormer windows, and a central arched doorway. It is framed by tall trees and has a small tower or turret on one side.
To the right of Asphodel Hall, near the top: “LITTERMAN.”
A multi-story building with a symmetrical front, central entrance, and rows of windows. Trees line its front and sides.
