Ruin's Embattled Homecoming

Ruin grew up around the Ares Infidels MC after his mother and sister became old ladies, and the club’s rule of military service sent him into uniform so he could one day return as a patched member.

He is finally heading home to finish his prospect time, bringing his friend Konrad, who wants to see whether he has what it takes to become an Infidel.

Four years of near silence have left Ruin estranged from Desi, the foster sister he still considers his best friend, and he hopes this trip can mend what broke between them.

Desi has mourned Tanner—known in the club as Ruin—while keeping her true feelings secret, and with him about to be in her life every day she has turned to Isaiah, the man who stayed after Ruin left, to help her with her plans.

She avoids him while he tries to get her to talk; Isaiah remains close enough to win the family’s acceptance and Ruin’s anger, and Konrad makes his interest in Desi obvious.

Old secrets refuse to stay buried, and it will take confessions from more than Ruin and Desi before anyone ends up where they were meant to be.
