52. Astor
CHAPTER FIFTY-TWO
ASTOR
S he felt like home. The moment my cock slid inside of her, she felt like coming home. I don’t know how or why I enjoyed her finger fucking me, but I did. I even fucking moaned, moaned , and I don’t know how to take that. But I do know that her hand in mine right now is enough for me to fucking do it again if it means her never putting me through the pain her not speaking to me again. The pain of her not letting me touch her again.
We laid in bed for as long as we could before having to leave for lunch with Caroline and Justin. When we get into the car, Alessia looks more at peace.
I squeeze her hand and she smiles at me before looking out of the window.
“Are you alright?” I ask.
“I want to go after his father…”
“His father?”
“Yes…his father and then the rest of his family. He has a brother who helped him cover it up. And he has a friend, Javi…I know you went after him; but he lied to you. He knew he wasn’t home. He knew he was here when you went after him.”
“How do you know that?”
“He called me…” I slam on the breaks and pull the car to the side of the road.
“ Who called you?!” I bark out.
She swallows and turns to face me. “He called me…three days ago. His voice was weird, but I know it was him. It was when we weren’t…we weren’t talking. He told me that he could’ve killed me. He told me the whole time Javi had you where he needed you.”
“You’re fucking kidding me. Baby, you tell me these things. I could’ve had the call traced…”
“I’m sorry.” I grab her hands in mine and take a deep breath. I know she was probably going through a lot of emotions when she answered that phone call.
“It ok, but you need to hear me, ok?” She nods and leans her head against mine. “We’re going to have lunch with our best friends and then we’re going to do what you want: kill every fucking person that crossed you. But we aren’t starting with his father.”
“Who are we starting with?”
“Javi...he knows everything.”
“Ok.” I kiss her forehead and plan exactly how to track down that piece of shit, because tonight, he’s fucking dying.
I’m watching her as she cuddles next to Caro as they smile and laugh. It feels insane that this is the same woman who was in the car telling me her fucking hit list. Now she’s curled up next to her best friend, laughing. She’s strong. She’s doing the best she can and that’s all I can ask of her. But I hope she’s ready for this, because tonight she’s going to see a completely different side. A different side of me and a different side of her.
“So, what’s the plan?” Justin asks.
“Mikhail is looking for him. We find him we find the rest of them. She wants to go after his father, then the brother. She remembers him helping Miles hide him. She’s hardcore, Just. She may not remember how she was, but I do. We called her the tornado , because that’s what she was. I was the only one that could bring her back. The only one that could stop her wrath when she started.”
“I’m coming tonight.” I shake my head and chuckle, because I didn’t expect anything less.
“I know. We’re leaving at midnight.”
“I’ll be there.”
“Hey…” I hear before I feel small arms wrapping around me. Caroline appears next to Justin and he looks down at her before pulling her into his side. It’s weird to see us with people. Or rather, it’s weird for me to finally have the one I fought so long to make myself believe I didn’t need.
I look down at Alessia and kiss her forehead when he phone rings. She reaches in her pocket and answers it.
“Hello?” she says. I feel her tense next to me and I frown. “Ah, Miles. I didn’t say anything when you called the first time, but you should enjoy your last few days. Because I’m going to kill you. But not before I torture you first, just like you tortured me.” I watch her as she handles herself. She doesn’t flinch when I snatch the phone out of her hand and put it on speaker.
“Ah, I see tornado is back.” His voice cuts through the phone and it feels like lightening is surging through my body. I feel like I’m on fire. I’m fucking burning with the urge of wanting my hands around his neck. For what he did to her, for what he did to us. We lost six fucking years. I had to deal with seeing her everyday, knowing she didn’t fucking remember me or remember what we had.
She looks at me and grabs my hand. It’s at that moment that I know I’m grinding my teeth and loudly.
“Listen here, you piece of shit. The only thing that stopped me from killing you the first time was my father. But hear me, you better hope to God my wife gets to you before I do. Because if I do, you’re fucked. Don’t call her again. We’ll see you soon.”
“Indeed, you will. Bye, tornado,” he says before hanging up. She grips her phone and I look at her.
“I’m fine,” she says, reading my mind. I look away and take a deep breath before she yanks on my shirt. “Ast…I am fine, I promise. We’ll get him, ok?”
“We sure will. Fucking dickhead,” Caro says, throwing back her pain medication. “When are we leaving? There’s no fucking way I’m missing you kill this fucker,” she continues.
“You aren’t going,” Justin says, glaring at her.
“She’s my best friend, I’m going.”
“No the fuck you are not,” Justin says. Alessia rounds and grabs Caro, turning her to face her.
“I know you think you’re superwoman and I know you want to protect me.”
“No, I want to support you.”
“Caro, you are supporting me by waiting here. We’ve got this.” Caroline sighs and nods, their foreheads resting against each other’s.
“Make him suffer,” she says.
“I plan to.” I smirk at Justin and he raises his eyebrow.
“Goddamn right,” I say.
Game fucking on.
