Chapter 11
The sound of drums vibrated through my chest as I looked around in awe. Port Isle seemed to have many hidden gems, and this one was right here on the resort.
After a lazy day indoors, Azari insisted we get out of bed and do something.
Although I’d had an amazing day in with him, I knew he was right.
I couldn’t waste my vacation inside the hotel just because I found some good dick to hop on and off whenever I desired.
And trust me, I’d done a lot of hopping on that man’s dick all damn day.
We found out that there was a party on a hidden beach within the resort, and I was super glad we came.
The small beach had a large waterfall as a backdrop where people were jumping off the cliff and into the crystal-clear water.
I couldn’t believe they were doing all that, especially at night, but they seemed to be having fun.
The sand was soft beneath our feet, and people were everywhere. Locals played these drum-looking instruments, vendors sold grilled meats, and a huge bonfire burned in the middle where people danced and drank.
“You want your favorite cocktail?” Azari asked, and my mouth instantly watered.
“Yes, please. I haven’t had my fix yet today.”
He chuckled. “We can’t have that, now can we?
” he asked as we walked up to a cart that acted as a mobile bar.
Azari ordered two cups of Rum punch while I continued to take in the scene.
Even though the sun had gone down long ago, the air was still warm like a hug, and the environment was so lively. “Here you go, ma.”
I grabbed the cool plastic cup and took a gulp. I moaned in satisfaction. “Umm… So damn good. Thank you.”
He kissed my temple, and my cheeks warmed. “You’re welcome.”
We’d gotten comfortable with physical intimacy, and I had to admit that his random kisses were the best. I would miss getting them around the clock once we got back home.
We sipped from our drinks as we walked around. Azari grabbed us two beef kabobs, and when we finished those and our drinks, he ordered us another round.
“Here, sip this one slower, Indira. We know how you can get off these.”
I giggled. “Hush.”
Ignoring me, he asked, “Do you want to dance?”
That surprised me. Azari didn’t seem like the dancing type, especially not to this kind of beat that didn’t prompt a slow dance. My brows rose. “You sure?”
“You scared?” He chuckled.
I wasn’t scared, but I wasn’t really much of a dancer, if I was being honest. I mean, back in college I would fuck up a dance floor, whether I could actually dance or not, but that felt like so long ago.
Deciding to throw caution to the wind, I shrugged and said, “Nope.”
Azari grinned, causing my heart to flutter, before he grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the bonfire.
The warmth of the fire turned my body temperature up several degrees.
Looking at how fine Azari was certainly didn’t help.
He grabbed my waist, and my hips swayed to the beat as he did a cute little two-step.
I took another slow sip of my drink and got lost in the feel of the island beat and Azari’s hands on me.
“You look beautiful like this,” Azari whispered as he leaned in. He placed a kiss on my neck, and I got chills, even though the environment was hot as hell.
“Like what?” I asked, a lazy grin covering my face.
“Free,” he replied.
Free. I didn’t know the last time I had felt free, but I wanted to hold onto this feeling for a lifetime.
