Chapter 23

Synn

I'm walking by the computer room, doing restless circles through this place.

I hear a startled yelp coming from Purge, so I burst into the room.

“What? What is it?” I ask.

Purge swings around in his chair. “You’re not going to believe this, man. All our fathers have taken our mothers and gone underground. I managed to hack into a series of e-mails between our fathers.”

That is not at all what I expected to hear.

“Why? Do you know?”

Purge furrows his brow. “Something scared them. I also hacked into their phone records and saw that the last one to speak to one of us was Ghost’s father, a while ago. Ghost called him.”

“Hold up. Ghost called his old man? That is not like him,” I say in confusion.

Purge types fast on his phone. “I just texted him to get in here and explain.”

It's maybe a minute or two when Ghost rushes into the room, breathing heavily. His shirt is rumpled, and he has the look on his face he gets after doing something violent.

“Aw, shit, Ghost. You didn’t kill him, did you?” Purge asks.

“No.” Ghost grinds his teeth. “Maxim is still alive.”

I exhale in relief. We still need answers. “Why did you call your father?”

Ghost winces, then explains himself.

“Fuck, man. You actually scared him,” I say, impressed despite the incredibly poor decision he made.

“Yeah, but they took our mothers,” Purge points out.

“There’s nothing you can do now. I suggest making the most of your limited freedom while you can.”

My head whips around at hearing Jax’s voice. I didn’t even hear him walk in.

“What are you saying? Are we free to come and go?” Purge asks slowly, hope lighting up his eyes.

“Yes, though I stress the need for constant security, and caution on your part,” Jax adds.

Purge quickly stands, and the two of us nod at Jax on our way out. We both head to Pazessca’s room, Ghost trailing behind us.

“She’s with 3,” Ghost says softly.

“So that’s what set you off,” I mutter. “We’ll wait, no matter how long they're holed up in there.”

Purge is on his phone again. My phone chirps, and I check the screen. He sent a message in the group chat for everyone to meet us at Pazessca’s room.

“They all need to know. I texted Harris and Valley too,” Purge tells us.

“Good,” I grunt.

I plant my feet, waiting on my girl.

Trikk

God, what now?

I was just about to beat this fucking game, too. Frustrated, I get up and toss the controller off to the side.

I aim for Bambi’s room. I see the others coming also. Everyone—including Valley, Bryan, and Cynthia.

What the hell is going on?

We meet up with Ghost, Synn, and Purge, waiting on an explanation.

Purge quickly fills us in. My jaw drops. It would take a good amount of fear for all our fathers to go into hiding.

“Wait... we’re free to leave and come back? We can take Bambi with us?” I clarify.

“Yep,” Synn says. “But you better be careful, Trikk. We cannot have another incident like before.”

“Rude. I won’t let anyone take her again, brother,” I say firmly.

Bambi's door opens, and we all turn toward it. A rumpled-looking Bambi walks out, an equally ruffled 3 on her heels.

I can smell sex in the air. Fuck.

“What the hell, guys?” Bambi complains.

“Did you fuck 3?” Frost asks abruptly.

“His name is Sam. And that’s none of your damn business,” she tells him, fire in her gaze.

“Attention, everyone.” Purge raises his voice to be heard. “Listen up!” He explains yet again what’s gone down, for Bambi’s and 3’s—Sam’s— benefit.

“Hiding? We can leave?” Sam asks clearly.

I can’t help but to be a bit impressed at his speaking.

Bambi squeals, jumping up and down. Valley and Cynthia join her in celebration.

“What? I don’t get it,” Razor says.

“Me, Sam, and Cynthia can explore the world. Sam has never even seen it, and Cynthia and I haven’t since we were little,” Bambi explains.

An idea forms in my mind. I remember the wistful look she got on her face when we talked about the beach in the past. We can't be terribly far from it. Ocean City is close enough to drive, I think.

I smile to myself as I begin to plan.

Romance for my Bambi, just what the doctor ordered.

Bryan

I'm excited that we can leave now. I’m going to take Valley on a proper date. She deserves the world, and I plan to give it to her.

I feel like we were given a second chance after being reunited. I’m more in love with her now than ever. I’m still stupefied I found my person—my soulmate. It's so weird to think about.

If my parents hadn’t tossed me away, I would have never met her. I definitely can’t be mad about my parents putting me in The Retreat, since I met Val there. But I will always despise my family—especially my mother. Sick woman, lusting after young boys…

“Bry, I’m so stoked by the news. I can’t wait to take out my girls into the world!” Valley rushes up behind me, winding her arms around my waist.

“Just your girls?” I grin, turning around to kiss her passionately.

“Um, sorry, Bry. It's just Nyx and Cynthia haven’t been out in the world since they were kids.”

“I understand, my love. We will all get a turn, I’m sure. No rush.”

“I’m going online to check events for the Ocean City area, within driving distance of where we are. I'm going to find something totally awesome to do,” Valley chatters.

I laugh, her positivity contagious. I give her a squeeze before letting her go and she races off.

I'm going to plan our date. It needs to be perfect.

Phoenyxx

I know I shouldn’t be elated right now, but I can’t help it. With my guys’ fathers in hiding, we’re free to just be. To live—finally. I'm going to infuse every second with fun.

Smiling to myself, I start thinking about all the sex I’m going to have. I have eight men... how am I going to juggle them? How do I even have sex with eight at a time? I mean, I only have five places on my body I can use at one time... Two hands, my mouth, my pussy, my ass.

I’m so out of my comfort zone here. Obviously, I know about threesomes and stuff, but how does one girl fuck eight guys at the same time? With all eight of us together in this relationship now, it’s inevitable.

Peals of laughter come from behind me, and I turn to see Valley and Cynthia.

“Bestie. Guess what? I found something cool to go do,” Valley says excitedly.

“Yeah, cool, cool. I’m so happy,” Cynthia adds.

“Okay... what?” I ask.

“I know you don’t know much about music, but I found out an 80s band is performing live close by tonight. Ever heard of Poison?”

I yell loudly, “Oh my God. No way! Hell yeah; ‘Every Rose Has It’s Thorn’ is an awesome song.”

“Joan Jett is the opening act,” Valley adds.

“Those bands are on the mix tape Trikk made for me. How do we get tickets?”

Cynthia breaks out into a wide smile. “She already bought tickets, wifey. Front row, too.”

“I dipped into the bank account my parents set me up with,” Valley shrugs.

I jump up and down and do a happy dance, the girls joining me.

“Whoo-hoo! Shit—I have to find something to wear,” I muse.

“Wear for what?” a deep voice asks from behind me.

I press a hand to my chest and whirl to see Synn. “You about gave me a heart attack. Valley got us tickets for a concert tonight.”

“Nope.” Synn shakes his head.

My face turns red as I start to argue, but Valley breaks in. “Look, dude—there will be hella security with us. Lighten up, please?”

Ah, my bestie.

“I’m going, too. Not open for a debate,” Synn adamantly proclaims.

“Fine,” I agree. “But you need to secure your own ticket.”

Synn grabs me and tosses me over his shoulder.

“Hey, put me down, you big oaf!” I pound lightly on his back with my fists. “Where are you taking me?”

“Do you trust me, Pazessca?” Synn purrs.

“Yes...”

“Good. Close your eyes. I'll tell you when you can open them.”

“Ugh!” I complain, but close them, anyway.

“Get her back her with plenty of time to get ready for tonight!” Valley calls out.

Synn walks quickly, taking me down hallways, then downstairs.

I huff impatiently. “Come on...”

Synn chuckles but keeps going.

We walk straight for a minute, then he stops. “Alright, Pazessca. Open your eyes.”

He puts me down, and I look, gasping in surprise.

“What is this?” I gaze around a small room that’s bathed in red.

I make a slow circle, not understanding half of what I’m seeing.

There's a swing-looking contraption in the corner, suspended from the ceiling.

A cross made of wood. A square table with padded restraints hanging from the sides.

The things I do recognize have my pussy lighting up with a thrill.

Whips, chains, blindfolds, and other tools. And a large bed right in the middle.

I whirl back to face Synn. “What is this?”

He grins like a cheshire cat. “I’m going to destroy you in all the best ways, Baby Girl. You will submit to me and do everything I command you to. You will have a safe word—red. If you need me to stop, use it.”

“Um....” I start to say, but I can’t deny the arousal making me soaking wet, and my nipples are so hard they hurt. “What do I do?”

“Strip. Take everything off. I need you naked. Then, get on your knees.”

Oh man. Shit. I don’t know about this. Being on my knees feels too vulnerable.

“Synn, not my knees, please,” I say.

Synn curses, an apology on his lips. He lifts me up again, and places me gently in the center of the bed in the middle of the room. He helps me off with my clothes, pausing when he sees the branded area. His jaw ticks, but he doesn’t comment. He heard it all in the car with Ghost.

Fisting his hand in my hair, Synn brings my lips to his. I gasp into his mouth, literal fireworks exploding behind my eyes. This connection—God. I've never felt anything like it.

His eyes turn almost black with desire, and he makes a sexy growl. Deepening the kiss, he possesses every corner of my mouth, devouring me like a man starved.

I paw at his clothing, needing it off—right now. He sits up, tossing his shirt to the side, then shoves down his pants, his massive cock springing out.
