7. Chapter 7

Cameron

For such a wispy little thing, Justin is surprisingly strong, even with the drugs still weakening him.

I’ll have to keep that in mind in the future.

Right now, however, I have to figure out what to do about his panic attack.

Bending him to my will when he’s scared is fun, but him being mindless from terror is inconvenient.

Right now, he’s not listening. Any threat I’d issue would fall on ears deafened by panic.

This is why I usually have pets wake up in the cage.

That way, they’re safe and contained during their initial freakout.

Wanting to have my mouth on Justin when he woke up, I got a little carried away.

I got a knee in the balls for it, which is fair.

Justin has every right to be freaking out right now. I should have known better.

Now I’m faced with a dilemma. Either I force him in the cage and let him tire himself out, or I help him calm down. Somehow. I’ve never actually done that before, but didn’t I tell myself I need to start doing things differently?

Maybe helping Justin through this instead of leaving him to deal with the overwhelming emotions alone will protect him from breaking the way all the others did.

Also, I’m loath to let go of him, even if all the struggling and screaming are getting annoying.

That’s the life of a pet owner, though. You gotta love them even when they aren’t being sweet and obedient.

I sit down on the floor, dragging the flailing Justin along. Once he’s squirming on my lap—which I’m not protesting at all—I pin his arms to his sides and wrap my legs around his to stop him from kicking and pushing himself off the floor.

My free hand cuts off the stream of “Please, no, please, don’t do this, stop.” As much as I want to hear him beg, I want him to mean it, not blubber nonsensical words because he’s too terrified to put a sentence together.

“Quiet.”

I keep my voice firm but not threatening. I meant it when I said he was safe. Justin may not believe it yet, but in time, he’ll understand. He’s mine, and I protect what’s mine.

Justin freezes, every muscle in his body rigid. He stops struggling but doesn’t calm down. Quite the opposite, actually. He’s breathing through his nose so fast that his breaths are almost in time with his racing heart.

Not wanting him to hyperventilate, I pinch his nose shut. He whimpers and squirms as he tries to dislodge me, but I only hold him tighter.

“Shh. It’s okay. Everything is going to be okay. You’re safe.” As I mumble a steady string of reassurances, Justin’s body slowly loses its tension. He’s either calming down or about to pass out from lack of air.

“You’ll take deep breaths,” I tell him before letting go of his mouth and nose.

“I don’t want to hear any gasps. Focus on that.

Good. Deep, slow breaths.” The moment I hear his breathing speed up again, I cover his mouth and nose once more, adding a stern, “No. Slow breaths. I know it’s hard, but I won’t have you passing out on me.

Not from hyperventilation, anyway.” Passing out from exhaustion after too many orgasms sounds like a much better option.

With me controlling Justin’s breathing, the worst of his panic slowly subsides. He’s still sobbing quietly and tears stream down his cheeks, but he’s relaxed in my arms, resting his head against my shoulder, and his breathing is steady.

“You’ve done a very good job, pet. I know this must be difficult for you, but you’ve handled it. I’m proud of you.”

He frowns and shakes his head, but doesn’t say anything. I’d love to know what he’s thinking about, but now is not the time to push. Instead, I keep whispering praise and reassurances, holding Justin tightly and stroking his back.

“It’s okay,” I repeat. “You’re safe now.”

“Please,” he whispers back. “I don’t want this.”

“That’s normal. You’ll learn to accept it.

” And if Mikhail is right, maybe even enjoy it.

God knows pets who genuinely enjoy serving their Master are in short supply.

Justin will learn to pretend to be happy, but I’d be lying if I said I’m not hoping for more from him.

Damn Mikhail for raising my expectations.

As Justin’s eyes fall on the cage, he sucks in a sharp breath and almost starts hyperventilating again, but catches himself before I can chastise him. “Please, don’t lock me in there,” he whispers, his voice heavy with tears.

I kiss the top of his head. “Cage training is important. I can’t have you roaming around when I’m away at work. It’s not as bad as it seems, I promise. You’ll learn to love your cage.”

“Like I’ll learn to love men?” Justin replies defiantly. “I’m really not gay.”

Is it just me or is he focusing on that fact a little too much? Who is he trying to convince? Because it sure as hell isn’t working on me. I don’t care if he’s attracted to other men, all that matters is that he’s attracted to me. Given that he’s half hard even now, I’d say that’s a clear yes.

“Being gay is not a requirement.”

Hoping he won’t start struggling again, I shift him to sit sideways on my lap and hug him tightly to my chest. His hot breath is fanning my nipple now, making it tighten.

It’s too soon for Justin to reach out and touch me on his own, but a man can dream. How good would it feel if he started caressing me? Kissed me? Ground that tight ass against my cock?

Fuck. Why do I keep torturing myself with these fantasies? It might take weeks before we get there. It might never happen. Maybe all I’ll ever have is fucking Justin when he’s tied up and crying. Admittedly, it sounds hot, but it’s not all I want from him.

Is it too much to ask for a pet to genuinely like me? I’m so good to them. I take care of all their needs. If they’re good, I give them lots of pleasure and little to no pain. They could end up with someone much worse. Yet, they never appreciate how soft a Master I am.

Justin sniffles. “I just want to go home.”

“Well,” I gesture at the opened cage in front of us, “you’re free to do so.” I’m not in a rush to let go of him, but he needs to start thinking about his cage as his home. The place where he lived before no longer matters.

Taking a deep breath, Justin looks at me. His expression shifts, despair giving way to a shy smile. “Maybe…” His hand trembles as he places it on my chest. Just like I fantasized about, he flicks at my nipple piercing. If only his affection was real.

Justin’s seductive tone goes straight to my groin as he says, “Maybe we could do something else instead? I could—”

“Stop.” I can’t let him continue. “There will be no haggling. I am in charge here. When I give an order, you’ll obey, not try to weasel your way out of it by faking affection.

Even if you distracted me or knocked me out, the room is locked and soundproofed.

The man who took you knows how to cover his tracks.

No one will look for you here, no one is coming to rescue you, and you have no chances of escaping on your own.

You are not leaving this basement alive. ”

My words are intentionally harsh. The sooner Justin accepts this, the better. For both of us.

His breathing quickens again, and his fingernails dig into my skin where I’m pressing his hand against my chest. I wince, but don’t stop him. If he needs it to ground himself, he can scratch me all he wants.

We sit in silence as he gets his breathing back under control. It pleases me that he doesn’t start struggling again. It’s probably because he’s smart enough to realize it won’t help him, not because he feels safe with me, but at least I have an intelligent pet on my hands.

Realizing I’ve been going on about Justin following orders when I haven’t actually issued one, I gently push Justin toward the cage. “Get in, pet. Now.”

I’m ready to grab him in case he starts freaking out again, but he just takes a shaky breath. “O-okay.”

“You’ll address me as Sir or Master,” I correct since he seems receptive to instructions.

“Oh.” Justin blinks, the overhead light glinting in his tear-filled eyes. “I’m sorry, Sir.”

“It’s okay.” I kiss the top of his head. “Go now.”

His ass waggles enticingly as he crawls inside the cage, and I have to adjust myself as I close the latch.

The familiar click of the lock makes me smile. For better or worse, I have a pet again.
