Chapter 7

Chapter Seven

Kristoffer

When I first recognized Charlotte and some of the others from the bachelorette party, I didn’t think of Little Red, which was odd since I’d been thinking of nothing but her this last week.

Basically, since she left the condo, she’d moved into my head and hadn’t left.

But in the exact moment I saw the familiar ladies, she didn’t come to mind.

At least not until someone pointed out that I’d spanked her.

As my eyes landed on her my lips grew into a wide smile.

She looked absolutely panic-stricken and fucking adorable, and despite us wanting to keep it a nameless, one-time thing, I was pleased to see her.

If I were being honest with myself, it was more like an unfurling of the tightness inside me at the thought of never seeing her again.

“Sorry to disturb you, ladies. I just wanted to introduce myself and make sure you have everything you need. But I guess we’ve already met.” I winked and I was pretty sure three woman were on the verge of swooning. What was it about women and weddings?

“This gives new meaning to he sees you when you’re sleeping, he knows when you’re awake.

He knows if you’ve been bad or good, so be good for goodness’ sake.

” A pretty blonde I remember as being trashed at the bachelorette party turned to Little Red.

“You should be on your best behavior for sure, Emily.”

Everyone laughed and Little Red turned a pretty shade of pink. A shade I remembered looked devastatingly delicious on her ass.

“I don’t think you ladies should worry about Emily,” My eyes landed on hers as her name slipped past my lips.

It was a pretty name, but Little Red suited her so much better.

“She went right to the tippy-top of the nice list after I was done with her. Besides, I’ve hung up my Santa hat for the wedding. I’m wearing the Best Man bowtie now.”

“And I bet you look just as hot in it,” someone said with a catcall.

“Alright.” I held my hands out. “I’m getting out of here before things get wild. But your menfolk are still scheduled to arrive in the morning. I came early to make sure everything was going according to plan, but I’m not sticking around to supervise you tonight. I’m staying in the main chalet.”

“Oh, don’t go, Kristoffer,” Charlotte said, and stood. “I’ve been looking forward to meeting you for so long. Can’t you just stay and eat with us?”

“I promise you’ll be sick of me soon enough, but this is your night to enjoy yourselves.”

“Okay well at least take some food.” Charlotte turned to get me a plate, but Emily had already made one up. “Oh good, thank you, Emily.”

“The brie is triple-creamed,” Emily said, and shoved the plate into my hand despite my protest.

“Thank you, ladies. I’ll enjoy this while I finish up some work I have, so I can spend the rest of the week keeping an eye on all of you.” I narrowed my eyes on them, and they all giggled.

“Oh, and don’t forget, the spa is booked for tomorrow from 8 am to noon.

It’ll be just you as it’s closed to other guests until the afternoon.

Us boys will meet you for lunch at the big chalet.

We’ve got some free time scheduled after, but I highly recommend ice skating on the lake, it’s crystal-clear and breathtaking.

The front desk can arrange ice skates for you.

But at eight o’clock tomorrow evening, we’re heading to the Christmas festival downtown via horse-drawn sleighs.

There’ll be an evening market, tree lighting, caroling, an ice sculpture contest, and a lot more. Even a boozy hot chocolate booth.”

“You’re the perfect man, Kristoffer Larson,” one of the women said in a breathy voice.

“Are you single?” someone yelled, and I couldn’t help but glance at Little Red who remained silent.

“Horse-drawn sleighs and a Christmas festival? Happy sigh,” another one said.

The women gushed and chatted while Madeline, the matron of honor, assured me they were all set and that everything was beyond perfect.

I knew she was the matron of honor because she had introduced herself after the show when she paid us. She was also the one who had booked us eight months prior. And the one who took responsibility for every single guest, waiting as each of them was picked up.

Except for Little Red. And the only reason she didn’t wait for her was because the bride was so drunk, she needed a full escort home, and Little Red lived in the opposite direction.

Little Red refused to go on a round trip just so Madeline wouldn’t worry.

So, I’d told Mrs. Worrywort I’d keep an eye on her and promised Madeline on my life, I’d make sure Little Red made it home.

I just hadn’t mentioned I was taking her to my home. Not that it was a plan until after Madeline had shoved the inebriated bride headfirst into their Uber and I was left alone with the petite sexy redhead.

And I now know she’s the same Madeline that David had mentioned a million times.

She was David’s older sister. A force to be reckoned with, thanks to the death of their parents when she was only 24 and David was 22.

Their younger sister had only been 10 at the time and Madeline and her husband took her in and raised her while David was in school.

“So be honest, Kristoffer, are you spying on us for David?” Charlotte asked.

“Definitely not,” I said with a sly grin.

“How was the bachelor party?”

I shook a finger at her. “Now if I told you that, I’d also have to tell David how the bachelorette party went. And we wouldn’t want him knowing you sat on my knee and told me what you wanted for Christmas.” My brow rose and she pressed her lips, her cheeks reddening.

“Right. Never mind,” she said, sounding embarrassed. “How on earth did we not know David’s best friend owned Sexy Santa Inc?”

I grinned and everyone else laughed. And then when no one seemed to be paying me any attention, I snuck a look back at Little Red.

I didn’t want to single her out, but I had the urge to be near her, to talk to her.

I also didn’t want to crash their party.

So instead, I waited to catch her eye, and winked at her.

“All right, ladies, I’m going to let you get back to your party. Behave though, I’d hate to have to call Santa and tell him you were naughty.”

“And we know what Santa will do, don’t we Emily?” someone teased.

The bride’s mother, a lady who looked to be about sixty, put her hand up. “I think I’d like to go over Santa’s lap!” All the ladies laughed.

I shook my head. “All right, let’s behave, now. The bachelorette party was last week.”

“I’m sorry I missed it now,” Charlotte’s mom said.

I groaned inwardly. I wasn’t supposed to ever see the ladies from one of my shows again, so this was a bit awkward.

“Tell us, Emily, does Santa Daddy give good spankings?” someone asked.

Instantly our eyes met. I don’t know if I was imagining it, but I think Little Red might have shivered.

“I’ll need a lot more champagne before I start spilling my secrets.” To prove her point she grabbed one of the champagne bottles and left the room.

“Think it’s time we put on our bikinis and head to the hot pool!” Madeline hollered. “A little warmth might loosen her tongue.”

Great, now the thought of Little Red in a bikini was the only thing that filled my mind. And picturing it made all the blood in my body reroute toward my cock.

“Thanks for stopping in to check on us, and for setting up an amazing day tomorrow, Kristoffer,” Madeline said with a jab of her thumb over her shoulder. “Gotta keep an eye on these ones.”

I gave her a wave and left them to their girls’ night.

“So the lioness’s den, huh? You walked into the chalet with all those women and came out in one piece?” Neil, Charlotte’s younger brother asked.

“Are you kidding me? This guy could walk into a ladies’ night at the strip club after the male strippers leave and still come out in one piece,” David said, leaning back in his chair. “He’s a lioness tamer.”

Neil’s eyes went wide but the others laughed. I just shook my head. Neil was young, only eighteen. Something else David and Charlotte had in common; much, much younger siblings.

“I own several high-end resorts, and a successful charity organization, and have several younger siblings, so I can tame lions, lionesses, any cat really, and possibly a grizzly bear, however, herding them is beyond me,” I said looking down at my watch, noting the girls were ten minutes late for lunch.

“Where are they?” David asked, and the guys started ribbing him about missing his little wifey.

“Now, now, she’s not your wife for a few more days, so give her some length on that chain, little brother,” Madeline said, gliding up to sit at the table next to her husband, Blake.

Blake leaned over and kissed her cheek, and I felt a twang of something resembling envy.

I’d dated Clara for a while, but it was never serious, and it was never comfortable like it was with David and Charlotte, or Blake and Madeline.

Sure, we were exclusive and long term, but neither of us had been looking for anything serious or considered our future, which is what made the gorgeous but superficial Clara ideal.

She was career-oriented and wasn’t bothered by a ticking biological clock since she never planned on having children.

And I hadn’t considered having children, at least not with any more thought than a hazy daydream.

It was abstract, just like marriage, and something for me to worry about in the future.
