Devin #2
Gwen and Devin may have been friends, or at least Devin thought they were, but she wouldn’t put up with her attitude. Devin knew that as a sister to a patched member, she wouldn’t be in trouble for giving a club whore what’s what.
“Gwen, drop the fucking attitude and either change or go to your room, you’re not allowed out here during the day with your fucking overused flaps out.”
Gwen spun on her ridiculously high stripper heels.
“Oh, so just because you’re fucking Sasquatch you think you’re all that. You’re not. One day when he’s tired of sticking his dick in a fat cow, he’ll come right back to my bed without a backward glance.”
That was it. Gwen had pissed her the fuck off. Without thought, her fist shot out and landed right against Gwen’s eye. She was going for the nose, but the bitch wobbled on those stupid heels.
Devin felt rather than saw more of an audience gathering, even heard rapid steps approaching. The gait told her it was likely one of the guys.
She held up a hand and spoke without turning around. “Whoever it is, no. It’s only fair she gets a chance to fight back.”
Narrowing her eyes, she spoke to Gwen. “You better make it a good one, because it’s the only fucking one you’ll get. Oh, and by the way, I’m going to stick around for a long time and cock block the fuck out of you so you’ll never get to ride his glorious dick again.”
Her words angered the whore, good. Devin had curated them to do just that; she wanted an excuse to hit her again. She was tired of women who were a size four boiling everything about Devin down to her weight.
Until Jasper, she’d done that to herself too, but she’d be damned if she’d let a bottle blond with a boob job do it, not anymore.
Damn it, she had worth that didn’t hinge on a number on the scale or how many rolls she had.
She was funny, intelligent, a pretty good cook if she did say so herself, her brother had taught her to fight decent enough, she had a way with numbers, she could sell water to a drowning man, or so she’d been told, and damn it, she was sexy.
Fuck that bitch.
“He will come back when he gets tired of—” A roar cut through her words.
“ENOUGH.” Zombie had spoken and when he had everyone’s attention, he motioned for Heidi to step forward.
After the Sherry incident, Zombie had handed the department of ol’ ladies, candy stripers, and family matters over to Heidi, as long as it didn’t overlap club business.
Heidi spoke to Diamond first. “Go get dressed and don’t come out like that again during family hours. Be careful and don’t let this one lead you right out that door before you’ve even banked goodwill.” Diamond muttered an apology followed by a thank you and darted toward her room.
Heidi clicked her tongue. “Gwen, Gwen, Gwen. Where did you go wrong? You were the one I thought was the most levelheaded and least bitchy of all the girls since I’ve been here. So, what happened?”
Devin was a little offended that Heidi was asking the whore instead of her. Maybe sisters didn’t have the status she’d always been told.
“Well, she—” Gwen started, but Heidi threw up her hand.
“I’m gonna stop you right there. It was a trick question. The only acceptable response from you would’ve been to start with an apology to Squatch’s ol’ lady and then to hope she was in a good mood and didn’t decide to send you packing, as it’s her call.”
Whew, so Devin hadn’t been misled. Wait, so Heidi knew about the ol’ lady thing before her too?
“Ol’ lady? I don’t think so,” Gwen scoffed.
A new voice rebuffed her, and Devin’s spine froze. She hadn’t gotten the all clear to talk to Lucas yet and she was shit at schooling her face. Her brother could read her like an open book.
“Really?” Lucas sneered. “I know we agreed to let ol’ ladies handle this shit, but they need all the information to do so, don’t you think? So, are you going to tell them, or am I?”
Gwen just folded her arms and glared daggers in the direction Lucas’s voice came from.
“This isn’t news to her.” His voice was hard and cold, seemingly to the room at large. “I told her myself, and Squatch confirmed it… the day he left for Nebraska, so she knows that Dev’s his ol’ lady.”
This caused Devin to whip her head around to look at her brother. So, he knew too? That explained the bruise on Squatch’s face, and she could see Lucas was sporting some color too. Wait, Lucas sounded okay with it, but he said…
“He did what now?” It wasn’t that she hadn’t believed Zombie, but the timing was shocking.
Before he left meant, he’d decided after one night together.
Something in her chest exploded into a brilliant starburst. He’d chosen her after he’d seen her naked and then doubled down even after she showed him the real her.
She was… not that mad about it. Not as much as she should be anyway.
Her brother started laughing his ass off. Just like when they were younger. It sounded like the old him and that caused so much tension to leave her body.
She was about to ask to throw herself into her brother’s arms when the bitch opened her mouth again and Devin saw crimson.
“It’s just because she’s family and he fucked her. Had no choice after that, it’s not real.”
That was a gut punch.
The insecure part of her wanted to latch on to her words to feed her pain, but the part of her that Jasper caressed and loved, rejected it. Could he really fake all that? Would he be that heartless?
No, not Jasper.
“No.” Before she even realized she’d moved, she had that whore by the throat. They both tumbled to the ground, and she was straddling her with a death grip on her neck when hands suddenly lifted her from behind and started carrying her away.
Devin flailed and ranted, not caring who heard or who held her or where they were taking her. “He’s mine, you cunt. Lay one finger on him, and I will cut you. You hear me?” She got louder the farther away she was removed from the chaos.
Before she realized it, she was in Jasper’s room and a large body pinned the front of her against the back of the door.
“Shit, sweetness, that was so fucking hot I’m about to come in my pants.”
Jasper spoke brokenly in her ear, and she felt him fumble with her jeans and then his.
He slid a finger into her pumping furiously from behind until she responded in about three seconds.
He pulled away, and she heard him spit in his hand, and then he was entering her.
Slower than his vibrating body indicated he wanted to.
“Fuck, Dev. I missed you.”
She reached behind her head and held his face to her ear, absorbing every syllable he spoke into her soul. It had been two days and he was pounding into her like it had been years.
“Forget the whore. You’re it for me. I’ll never touch another, I vow it. You’re the only woman I could ever want.”
She wanted to ask for reassurance, to hear him say more, but his body was forcing all her concentration to one central location.
When his pace turned sporadic, he spoke once more. “Say it again, Dev. Say I’m yours.” His voice was pleading and she realized that he needed as much reassurance as she did.
“You’re mine, Jasper, and no one else can touch you.”
“Orrrr?” he prompted.
She knew what he wanted to hear. “I’ll fucking gut them.”
“Hell yeah. The bloodier the better.” She knew he meant it in kind also. He bit down on her neck and she went off. The tension of the last week coiled inside her and exploded into one of the most powerful orgasms she’d ever had.
Jasper thrust once more and spilled inside her. Again, with no condom. If they didn’t stop tempting fate, fate was going to show up in nine months to bite them in the ass.
“Did you enjoy my glorious cock?” The laughter was apparent in his voice.
“Ugh, you heard that?” She would never live that down. Until just then, she hadn’t thought about who might have heard, now that was all she could think about.
“That and more… and I’m going to remind you of every single word every goddamned chance I get.”
All she could do was groan. Jasper would never let it go.
Slowly, he pulled out and held her upright or she would’ve melted to the floor. “Come on, sweetness, you look dead on your feet.”
She couldn’t deny it, she was, but as he led her into the bright lights of the bathroom, she realized he did too. Not just that, he looked emotionally drained too.
Of course, he would. He’d killed three people in two days and ridden sixteen hours on a motorcycle, just to walk into the club and see her scrapping with his ex-fuck buddy.
Expected.
Silently they stripped and got into the shower. As she lathered up his hair—she was on tippy toe and he was hunched down—she asked one of the questions that she already knew the answer to.
“So, Jana?” Yeah, first name. She was never really a mother, so why pretend?
“Handled.”
One word that spoke volumes. Was she curious as to how?
Not really. She knew the guys were good guys, but they did bad things when needed.
Jasper in particular and in some bad ways.
So, yeah, for the same reason she didn’t want Lucas involved in it, she didn’t need those images.
Not that Jasper would’ve told her that anyway.
“Are you… okay?”
He looked at her with a puzzled expression on his face. She watched as it dawned on him why she was asking.
Jasper cupped her cheeks as he blocked the fall of water from her face.
