Elsie #2

I could feel a fire burning deep inside me, smoldering as it spread through my body.

It had started with just a spark, but I could feel it building, intensifying with every touch of his hand.

A rush of heat rolled against my skin as he released my mouth and looked down at me.

He stood there silently staring at me, appraising me.

Everything about him seduced my senses.

His touch.

His smell.

The way he looked at me.

I’d never wanted anything like I wanted him, and the way his eyes filled with lust and love when he looked at me only made me want him more.

Seconds later, I was on my back with his rough, impatient hands roaming all over my body.

His need was building with each kiss, every touch, and he was losing all sense of control.

“You’re finally mine... All mine.”

Hearing the need in his voice sent a wave of desire coursing through my veins. It burned deep, nearly taking my breath away. I lay there staring up at him, breathless and aching for his touch. When I finally came to my senses, I smiled and said, “I’ve always been yours.”

My breath caught when his hands slid down to the waistband of my sweats and lowered them down my hips. He ran one hand between my legs while his other hand cupped my breast, the rough pad of his thumb brushing across my nipple. His every touch added fuel to the fire burning inside me.

Impatient for more, I reached for his belt, letting him know that I was just as eager as he was.

Once it was undone, he slowly stood up, dropping them to the floor, then reached into his side drawer for a condom.

A spark of mischief flashed through his eyes as he slowly slipped it on.

He knew the effect he had on me, and he loved it, but no more than I did.

Heat rushed over me as my eyes roamed over his perfectly defined abs and pronounced V.

He was beautiful, and he was mine.

All mine.

A deep growl vibrated through his chest as he lowered himself onto the bed and settled between my legs.

He brushed against my center, teasing me relentlessly before he finally thrust deep inside me.

My head fell back as I gasped for air, my fingers pressing into his back, and my entire body gripped with heat.

He moved slowly, meticulously at first, but then his pace quickened, becoming more demanding and intense with each shift of his hips.

The muscles in my abdomen began to tighten as my legs drew up beside him.

My hands curled around his back as I held on to him, bracing myself for the wave of pleasure that I could feel growing inside me.

His steady rhythm never faltered until we both reached our climax.

He lowered himself on top of me with the heat of his breath on my neck, and he didn’t move. He just lay there, holding me close.

Once he’d caught his breath, he tossed his condom in the trash, then lowered himself down on the bed next to me. “Unbelievable.”

“It was pretty incredible.”

“No, it was more than that.” Wyatt kept his eyes trained on the ceiling as he admitted, “It’s never been like this before.”

“What? The fooling around?”

“Yeah.” His eyes locked on mine. “You know I’ve been with other women?”

I cringed at the thought, and it didn’t go unnoticed.

“Never mind... Bad timing.”

“No, I told you I wanted you to be able to talk to me, so talk. Tell me what you were thinking.”

“It never felt like this with them.”

“Is that a good thing?”

“It’s a very good thing.”

“Well, that’s good to know. But just so you know, I really don’t like thinking about you being with other women.”

“Why? You jealous?”

“Maybe.”

“You are.” A proud smile crossed his face. “I like you being jealous.”

I didn’t respond.

I simply cocked my brow and glared at him until he started laughing.

“Okay. Okay. Message received.” His laughter faded as he rolled to his back. “If it makes you feel any better, I wasn’t exactly happy about you going out with that Ben fella.”

“You had no reason to be jealous about him. I should’ve never gone out with him.” I eased up on my elbow and glanced down at him as I asked, “Did he do something to the club? Is he the reason why we’re in lockdown?”

“You know I can’t talk about that.”

“But I’m the one who brought him here.”

“You got nothing to do with what’s going on.”

“Then, why did Cotton ask me all those questions about Ben?”

“Elsie.”

“Fine.” I dropped back down on my pillow. “But I know he did something, and I would hate to think that he was able to do whatever he did because of me.”

“Already told you.” His tone grew stern. “You have nothing to do with this.”

I could tell that he was becoming aggravated, and that was the last thing I wanted, especially after the moment we’d just shared. So, I did the only thing I could. I dropped it. I curled up next to him with a sigh. The room fell silent, but only for a moment.

“Do you remember the Thanksgiving we had out at Cotton’s place?” I didn’t have to look at him to know he was smiling as he said, “All the kids were riding horses, and Darby and Susana talked you into riding with them?”

“Are you referring to the day that I rode a horse for the very first time in my life and got thrown off into a huge mud puddle?”

“Yeah, that’d be the one.”

“I haven’t thought about that for years. I was absolutely mortified,” I groaned. “Susana and Darby were such great riders. They made it look soooo easy, and I thought for sure that I could do it. WRONG! I’d barely taken the reins when that damn horse took off like a bolt of lightning.”

A mischievous smile swept across his face as he snickered, “Ooohhh, I remember.”

“It wasn’t funny, Wyatt.”

“Ummm, yeah.” He continued to chuckle. “It was funny. Damn. Every inch of you was covered in mud. I still don’t know how you managed that.”

“I fell! Ugh! You’re such an asshole.” I gave him a nudge with my elbow. “I didn’t laugh at you after your dirt bike wreck when you were whining about your little booboo on your elbow.”

“I had to get fifteen stitches. It was not a little booboo.”

“But did you die?” I sassed. “’Cause you certainly acted like you were going to. I’ve never heard such.”

“I got a scar,” he huffed. “All you had was a couple of bruises that faded by the end of the week.”

“You’re right. The bruises did fade, but I broke my tail bone and I had to sit on that stupid round pillow for weeks.”

“Oh, yeah. I forgot about the pillow.” He started chuckling again. “I never did understand why you choose hot pink. There was no missing it.”

“It was the only color they had!”

“I would’ve had to go without.”

“You say that now, but break your tailbone, and then, we’ll talk.”

We lay there for hours, cuddling and sharing old stories, and I fell asleep in his arms, feeling like everything was right in the world.

But sadly, it wasn’t a feeling that would last. At the time, I didn’t know it, but my whole world was about to be turned upside down, and I would be forced to make a decision I never thought I would make.
