Chapter 6
Chapter six
Ellery
My heart was hammering in my chest. I couldn’t believe I’d called him Daddy again.
Well, not exactly. I’d only called him Daddy David, which was pretty usual for the kink spaces I’d been in online.
I desperately wanted to drop the “David” and call him “Daddy,” though. I hoped to get the chance soon.
It had only been a day, and I was already becoming addicted to him.
The soft, deep rumble of his voice when he called me princess had almost made me unload into my panties.
His voice was incredibly sexy, but it was also soothing.
The way he spoke when reading my bedtime story had lulled me into a deep, peaceful sleep.
I’d woken when I heard Daniel’s voice and quickly changed into one of my pretty nightgowns, hoping to get to see Tristan. I certainly wasn’t thinking about David when I chose my lovely nightgown.
He looked so freaking sexy sitting on my couch, his hair all rumpled from sleep.
I couldn’t help it. I didn’t feel comfortable calling him “Daddy” yet, since we hadn’t discussed boundaries.
But then he had to go and call me princess, nearly causing me to make a mess in my pretties.
Daddy David, though, was safer, and he said he liked hearing me call him that last night, so I knew it wouldn’t offend him.
When I entered Tristan’s room, he was going through his totes of yarn, throwing random balls into his bag. “Hey, bestie.”
“Ellie! I was worried you’d still be sleeping.
” Tristan placed a few more skeins into the bag and zipped it up.
He sat down on the edge of his bed and patted the space next to him, but I shook my head, and the look on his face was priceless.
I desperately wanted to sit next to my bestie, but I had a bone to pick with him.
I glared at him, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
“‘He’s so nice. His paintings are amazing. He told me Daniel is a Daddy, and he’s so cool.
’ All of that and not once did you ever think to mention, oh, I don’t know, the fact that he’s the hottest person ever to exist and looks like he personally walked out of my most recent wet Daddy dream. ”
My hands were flailing in the air, and my voice was raised in mock outrage.
My apartment was tiny, and I needed to quiet down or David was going to hear me.
I must not have been feeling as well as I thought, because suddenly I was coughing up a lung, and I felt hot yet shaky all over.
Before I was even done coughing, David was by my side with an open bottle of water, and Daniel was standing in the doorway.
I grabbed the bottle of water and took a small sip of the cold liquid, which felt refreshing against my sore throat.
I looked up at David, my eyes not meeting his fully.
“Thank you . . . Sorry, I thought I was feeling better today, but I guess not.”
David gently grabbed my chin, lifting my gaze higher to meet his. “You’re welcome, darling, don’t apologize. After breakfast, I’ll get you some more medicine, and that should help.”
I nodded slowly, making sure my eyes stayed locked with his. His eyes were like a magnet; they were a powerful force pulling me in, and I didn’t want to look away.
Daniel cleared his throat and then spoke, reminding me we weren’t alone. “What were you boys doing in here?”
My face went hot with embarrassment, and I whipped toward Tristan, breaking David’s hold on me. My eyes bored into Tristan’s pleading for him to stay quiet.
At first, Tristan looked just as embarrassed, but when he looked at David, a mischievous grin nearly split his face in two.
I had no doubt he was thinking about how David had spilled the beans about Daniel, which had brought them closer together.
He turned his gaze on me, and I sighed in defeat.
“Fine, throw me under the bus.” I looked over at David and scowled playfully.
“You’re a bad influence.” I was nervous to see David’s reaction, but also curious.
Tristan, the little brat, looked to his Daddy.
“Not much. Ellie was yelling at me for failing to mention how drop-dead sexy David is.” David’s eyes darkened, and his jaw dropped in shock.
I opened my mouth to retort, but Tristan kept going.
“For the record, I was too busy admiring the sexiest Daddy on earth even to notice.” His cheeks went hot, and he looked at David.
“Sorry, David, no offense, but my Daddy is quite distracting.”
David laughed. “No offense taken, buddy.” His face hardened into something stern and undeniably sexy as he turned his gaze toward me. “I understand you were just playing and having fun with your friend, but good princesses don’t yell at their friends, do they?”
My cock twitched in my panties. I knew if I spoke, I would just whimper like a needy slut, so I shook my head.
I should’ve known that wouldn’t work. He cocked his brow, his face hardening even more than before.
My body shivered, lighting me up in the most delicious way possible.
“No, they don’t.” I turned to Tristan, my cheeks hot with embarrassment and need. “I’m sorry, bestie.”
Tristan’s face looked like a cat that caught the canary as his gaze bounced from me to David and then back again. “It’s okay, bestie. It was so worth it.”
“Boy!”
Tristan’s back straightened, his grin disappearing as he looked up at his Daddy. His eyes were full of remorse, but I knew it was from being caught. He was still pleased as punch to have seen whatever was happening between David and me.
“Sorry, Daddy. Thank you, Ellie.”
Daniel nodded at his boy, his smile full of pride. “I think that’s enough excitement for this morning; you boys still need rest.”
David hummed in agreement and turned to me. “Why don’t you say bye to Tristan while he finishes packing, and when you’re done, meet me in the kitchen.”
“Okay.”
David and Daniel left the room. Their asses were barely out the door before Tristan was in my face, grinning like a maniac. “He so wants to be your Daddy.”
My skin flushed all over, hope sparkled to life within me. “You think so?” Tristan nodded with absolute confidence.
“Oh, totally. He looked like he couldn’t decide if he wanted to spank you or kiss you. Well, honestly, it’s probably both.”
Tristan’s words filled me with hope, but there was this tightness in my chest that made it feel impossible to believe him.
“He called me darling and read me a bedtime story. He’s really nice and asked to see my princess dresses, but I haven’t gotten to show him yet.
” My voice was soft and high-pitched. Tristan knew it was normal for me to regress when overwhelmed or anxious, so he just grabbed my hand and rubbed soothing circles into my palm.
“That’s super sweet of him. I think he’d be a great Daddy for you.”
The tightness in my chest began to ease, and excitement slowly broke through the panic. “You really think he wants to be my Daddy?”
Tristan smiled softly, his thumb still rubbing my palm. “Obviously, I don’t know for sure, but based on what I saw, I’d say the chances are pretty high.”
My eyes burned with tears. I loved Tristan; he was the best friend anyone could ask for.
He was so thoughtful and kind, always knowing exactly what to say to calm me down.
“Thank you, bestie. He is really hot, though, and I still can’t believe you kept that very important information from me.
” I jutted my lip out as far as I could, trying my best to break the record for the world’s most dramatic pout.
Tristan laughed and rolled his eyes. “I’m sorry, bestie. I only have eyes for my Daddy. I didn’t even notice.”
Letting out a loud sigh, I nodded. I wasn’t even going to tease him for it because I knew he was one hundred percent telling the truth. Tristan was nearly hypnotized by Daniel when they first met. Honestly, I’m surprised he even saw David there at all.
Tristan and I jumped when we heard a knock on the doorframe. “Come, one little one, say goodbye to Ellie. We need to get home. You still need rest, but I promise you’ll get to hang out again soon.”
Tristan pouted, but then he threw himself into my chest, hugging me tightly around the waist. “I love you, Ellie. See you soon. Promise.”
Nuzzling my cheek against his, I squeezed him back. “I love you too, Bestie. See you later.”
Walking into the kitchen, my mouth watered as my nose was filled with the smell of bacon and something sweet.
“That smells so yummy.”
“Why don’t you come get some plates and drinks. Food will be done soon.”
He might not be my Daddy, but every time he asked me to do something, it made my heart flutter, and every cell in my body yearned to obey.
“Yes, sir.” I’m not sure where those words came from, but they sounded good.
Really good. Don’t get me wrong, I still very much wanted to call him Daddy, but we weren’t there yet, so sir would have to do .
. . for now. I couldn’t see his face, but his back stiffened, and I heard him curse under his breath, “Fuck.” Thankfully, he couldn’t see me, because the corner of my mouth turned up into a devious smirk.
I loved knowing I affected him like that by simply saying the words, “Yes, sir.”
It felt like I was floating on a cloud as I made my way to the cabinets to grab the plates and cups.
My hands instinctively reached for my princess cup, but I had a feeling I needed to stay big.
Even if we didn’t bring up the elephant in the room, I wanted to stay in my big headspace and get to know him a bit.
The sound of sizzling bacon filled the comfortable silence between us as I placed the plates next to him.
I took our cups to the fridge and carefully poured orange juice into them.
When I was done, I turned to set them on the table and saw David heading the same way with two plates full of yummy food.
