Like every morning, after I fell asleep with my princess in my arms, I woke up feeling like I’d had the best sleep of my life.
My thoughts were filled with the night before at the club. Tristan and Ellie had had so much fun that they were both dead to the world before we’d even gotten home.

“I think it’s too soon and I should say no, but then I find myself constantly wanting to be by your side and wondering what the house would look like and how we could make it ours. ”

“Darling. Your worries are valid. But life is full of the unexpected; almost everything in life is a what-if. I allowed those what-ifs to control me for so long because I was scared, and I’m so tired of allowing them that control.

Ellery’s eyes were as wide as saucers, but even through the shock, I could see the love swirling in their depths.

The minute I heard them tell me they loved me, everything else became background noise.
