Chapter 18

Chapter eighteen

Ellery

“Is it almost lunch time?” Tristan whined from where he was seated on my princess bed.

“Buddy, we just started working.” Tristan pouted but then turned on one of our favorite playlists and started crocheting one of his amazing stuffed toys.

It had been two weeks since we’d toured the house. Something changed that day, bringing us even closer together.

Since all four of us own our businesses and create our own working hours, we came up with a schedule that works for everyone. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, Daddy stays at the apartment with me while he works on the illustrations he’s doing for Cameron.

David always loves showing me his art, but sadly, when I asked to see the book, he said he couldn’t share it until he was done, due to an agreement with Cameron. It sucked, but I understood.

I loved my days with Daddy, but Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays were becoming some of my favorites.

On those days, Tristan and I got dropped off at the apartment so we could spend time together while we worked.

At first, it was just Daniel who would come over and have lunch with us to make sure we ate.

Daddy always went to the club on the days he wasn’t with me at my apartment. He’d been working hard to finish the pet play mural before the room’s grand opening in a few weeks. When Daddy found out Daniel was spending his lunch break with us, he decided he wanted to join us too.

At first, I was excited to spend more time with Daddy, but then I thought about what Jack and Maggie had said at the club.

He said he set alarms for lunch, but this way we knew for sure Daddy was getting plenty of time to eat and take a break.

I made sure of it. He might be the Daddy, but even Daddies needed care.

Daddy and I were a perfect match. We both loved our craft to the point of obsession. I often forgot to eat and take breaks while sewing, so I was in no place to judge. I was just thankful we were here to take care of each other.

All four of us had begun to build a routine together. It was amazing. My family and I were never really close, and when we did spend time together, it was forced and awkward. Everything between the four of us was as natural as breathing.

For the first time in my life, I had a real family.

Daddy and Daniel took turns bringing everyone lunch, and Tristan and I always handled cleanup.

After the first few times, we all got so caught up spending time together that we forgot to get back to work.

Daniel always set a timer for when lunch was over after that, to keep us on schedule.

Tristan and I had managed to work for about thirty minutes before both our phones went off. We both reached for them and giggled with excitement when we saw Zeke’s messages in our group chat.

Zeke

Tristan!

Zeke

Ellie!

Zeke

I know it’s last-minute, but I’m meeting a client at a business next to the café we usually visit together. Would you both wanna join me for lunch in a couple of hours and catch up?

Zeke was our web designer and social media marketer.

We’d met him a few years ago when we’d been searching for someone to help us build our website.

We’d spent months trying to find someone within our budget who was also queer and kink friendly.

We struck gold when we found Zeke, and we quickly bonded over our shared interests.

Zeke was in the lifestyle, but he wasn’t a little like us. He was a puppy!

Tristan looked up at me, his face full of confusion. “What’s wrong, buddy?” Tristan’s eyes were full of uncertainty. He twisted his fingers together, seemingly unsure of how to voice his worries. I watched him for a moment, trying to think of what could have made him so conflicted.

We both loved Zeke. With Tristan and me owning our online shop and Zeke being a freelance marketer and web designer, we didn’t have many chances to hang out. Usually, when the opportunity arose, Tristan was thrilled. What was different . . . Oh.

“Buddy, do you want to go to lunch with Zeke?”

Tristan nodded hesitantly. “But you also don’t want to cancel our lunch with our Daddies?”

He nodded more confidently this time. “I like having lunch with everyone, it’s always so nice.”

I hummed in agreement. I understood Tristan’s dilemma. Meeting Zeke for lunch was a wonderful idea. We both missed our friend and loved the food at the café. But at the same time, we’d been settling into a new routine as a family, as it had become comfortable, and messing with it felt wrong.

“I feel the same, buddy . . . but I think we should go. Tonight is family dinner, so we’ll still get to see each other.”

Tristan’s body relaxed, and he nodded. “You’re right. I want to go! Should we ask the Daddies first?”

I thought about it for a second and nodded. “Yes, especially since it means they’ll need other plans for lunch.” Although part of me hoped they’d still get together and have lunch without us.

Opening my phone, I go to the group chat we set up for everyone.

Hello Daddios!

Our friend Zeke messaged us asking if we could meet him for lunch at our favorite café. I know we’re all supposed to eat lunch together, but we have family dinner tonight and really want to see our friend.

Can we go?

I couldn’t help but giggle when I saw Tristan’s message come through.

Tristan

Pweeeaaaseee Daddy?

Daniel was the first one to respond.

Daniel

I have no problem with that.

Thankfully, Daddy’s reply came shortly after.

Daddy

Me either.

Daddy

Please let us know what time you plan on going.

Tristan cheered in victory, pumping his fist in the air as I typed our reply.

We’re meeting at noon. We’ll text you when we get there.

Daniel

Be safe!

We Will!

Tristan

Yes, Daddy.

After we were done texting, we were both so excited that we got back to work to help pass the time. About twenty minutes later, our phones went off again.

Zeke

If you guys can’t, I totally understand.

Shoot. It was Zeke. We’d gotten so caught up in our excitement that we forgot to let Zeke know we were coming.

Tristan

We wanna go!

Sorry, Zeke, we were asking our Daddies if we could go. They said yes! We were so excited, we forgot to tell you.

Zeke’s response was almost immediate.

Zeke

WHAT?

Zeke

Did I miss something??

Zeke

Are my glasses not the right prescription anymore?

Zeke

Did you say Daddies?

Zeke

As in plural?

Zeke

As in you both have a Daddy now?

The rapid dinging of our phones sent us both into fits of laughter. It had completely slipped our minds that we hadn’t seen or spoken to Zeke since before we met our Daddies.

Tristan

Your glasses aren’t broken!

Tristan

We got lucky.

We can tell you the full story when we meet up, but Tristan met his Daddy at the craft fair we were vendors at. Then I met my Daddy a couple of weeks later. He’s Tristan’s Daddy’s best friend.

Zeke

OH MY!

Zeke

That sounds like the perfect setup for a romance novel. I cannot wait to hear the rest.

Zeke

Got to go. Client is here.

Zeke

See you soon!

Tristan

Good luck!

Can’t wait!

It had only been a few hours since I’d used the bathroom this morning when Daddy and I were getting ready to go. I looked over at my water bottle with disdain. I’d gotten so used to going with Daddy that going by myself was weird.

Most days, I was so busy I didn’t have much time to think about it; I just went to the bathroom and got on with my day.

Since we viewed the house, we’d both been extremely busy.

I was trying to get as many dresses done as I could before we moved, and Daddy was working hard to finish the pet room mural before the grand opening.

We hadn’t had much time to spend as Daddy and little outside of our usual nighttime and story routine.

I wanted to ask Daddy for some more playtime, but I wasn’t sure how.

David was already doing so much, and it would only be a few weeks before we moved.

I could wait. Then we wouldn’t be nearly as busy.

The pressure in my bladder was becoming unbearable, and I found myself reaching for my phone. Daddy was busy painting, and I shouldn’t bother him, but I couldn’t help myself. I missed him so much, and I didn’t want to go potty without him.

Daddy?

Are you busy?

Unfortunately, Daddy was not as quick to answer his phone this time. Needing a distraction, I went back to the dress I was making.

Just as the pressure became nearly unbearable, my phone went off. I sighed in relief when I saw it was Daddy.

“Are you okay, Ellie?”

I tensed slightly at the sound of Tristan’s voice. The pressure on my bladder had totally made me forget he was here, crocheting.

“I’m fine, buddy. Just need to use the bathroom.”

“Okay!”

Grabbing my phone, I ran out into the hallway and checked my messages from Daddy.

Daddy

I was taking a quick break.

Daddy

Is everything okay?

Panicked filled me. I wasn’t sure what I needed, I just knew that going to the bathroom without my Daddy felt weird.

I’m fine.

I need to use the potty.

There, I did it. Hopefully, Daddy would know how to help.

Daddy

Are you feeling little, princess? Do you need Daddy’s help?

I thought about it, and no, I wasn’t feeling little, but I was definitely feeling more submissive than usual.

I didn’t know what I needed. I just knew I needed my Daddy.

The pressure in my bladder was increasing.

My finger typed at lightning speed, and I feared that if this took much longer, I wouldn’t have a choice.

I’m not little, but I really need to go. It feels strange going without you.

I’d barely pressed send when my phone started ringing.

Oh, it was a video chat request. Heat sparked low in my belly as I answered.

When Daddy’s handsome face appeared on the screen, I felt my dick start to stir and willed it not to.

It was already going to be hard enough going without Daddy here.

I didn’t need my horny dick making matters worse.
