Chapter 20
Chapter twenty
David
Most mornings, I was dragging my feet to get out of bed. This morning, I had set my alarm for an hour earlier than usual. Ideally, I’d want to stay in bed with my princess until they woke up, but I had different plans.
Grabbing my phone, I quickly silenced my alarm so it didn’t disturb Ellery. I took a moment to admire how adorable they looked smooshed against my side. Reluctantly, I pushed them off me and got out of bed.
Over the past few weeks, I’d been secretly ordering more little gear for Ellie.
Both Ellery and Tristan had a decent amount of stuff at their apartment, but I knew we’d need more for the house.
Besides, I wanted to have more things for them here at the apartment while we waited to move into the house.
I had an appointment for the following Monday to finalize the paperwork and get the keys.
It wouldn’t be too much longer before my princess and I finally moved into our new home.
Once I was dressed, I quietly made my way out of the room so I didn’t risk waking Ellery.
On a mission, I went into my painting studio to gather the items I’d hidden.
I opened the closet door and pulled out the boxes of stashed little items. As I rustled through the various boxes, I picked out a new princess sippy cup with the matching plates and utensils.
Wanting to make sure my princess had a full princess day, I grabbed a couple of bottles of nail polish and a beautiful plastic tea set.
Feeling happy with my choices, I gathered everything and headed to the kitchen to start breakfast.
Roughly thirty minutes later, I had crispy bacon and two stacks of delicious pancakes. Just as I was about to go wake Ellery up, I heard soft footsteps coming down the hall.
“Daddy?”
“In here, princess.”
“Mmm, that smells so yummy.” Ellery looked so adorable, still half asleep and rumpled. I scooped them into my arms and gave them a quick, deep kiss.
“Mmm, tastes yummy too. Have you been snacking while cooking, Daddy?”
Oops. I’d been caught. “I did, darling. I had to make sure it was good enough for my princess.”
Ellery’s face went bright red, and they took my mouth in a heated kiss. “I love you, Daddy.”
“I love you too, darling. Food’s ready, so let’s go to the bathroom and wash our hands.”
When I placed Ellery in front of the bowl, I didn’t immediately free their cock like I usually did. Instead, I wrapped my arms around them and ran my hand underneath their soft nightgown. I could feel their muscles tremble beneath my fingertips.
“Today, Daddy is in control. We’re going to have a nice, relaxing day, and I’m going to spoil you rotten, princess.”
Ellery slumped against me, fully submitting to my care and touch. “That’s my princess.” I continued my soft caresses as I traveled farther down until I felt the lace trim of their panties. We both let out a contented sigh when my palm wrapped around their silky-smooth cock.
“I don’t want my princess to have to lift a finger today. If you need anything, you tell me.”
“Yes, Daddy. I like it when you take care of me.”
My heart warmed at their words. I loved taking care of my princess, and it settled a part of me knowing they enjoyed it as much as I did. “Good, because I love taking care of you,” I aimed their cock at the bowl and tapped their hip. Ellie squirmed against me before giving in and letting go.
“Good job, darling. That’s it, let it all out.”
When they were finished, they let out a long sigh. “Thank you, Daddy.” I hummed and kissed the side of their head before cleaning them up and making sure their cock was comfortably tucked into their panties.
Ellie giggled as I rubbed the soap into their skin, making sure their hands were squeaky clean. I washed my own hands and was drying them off with the towel when Ellery’s stomach rumbled so loud it was like a dragon roaring its displeasure.
“Well then, it sounds like my princess and their mighty dragon are hungry. We should hurry and get you fed before I get eaten.”
Ellie burst into a fit of laughter and then froze with a sudden gasp. “Tristy! Daddy, we need to get Tristy. He needs breakfast too!”
I smiled, picked Ellie up, and made a detour to grab Tristy from the bedroom before heading back into the kitchen. Tristy was the purple dragon Tristan had made for Ellie; to say Ellie had barely let it out of their sight would be an understatement.
Once we had Tristy, we made our way into the small dining area where I had our meals set up. Ellery squealed in excitement when they noticed their new princess cup. “Daddy! Is that a princess cup and plate?”
I smiled and placed Tristy in the seat next to mine before sitting Ellie down so I could get seated. “It is, princess. Come here.” I pulled Ellery onto my lap and handed them the cup. Ellie wasted no time bringing the spout to their lips and taking a huge gulp. “Yummy, chocolate milk!”
I took my time feeding Ellie and taking bites for myself in between. It was wonderful to sit here with them in my lap, nowhere to go, nothing to worry about, just me and my princess enjoying our day.
“Mmm, that was yummy, Daddy. My tummy is super full.”
“That’s good. That means you’ll have plenty of energy for all the fun stuff I have planned.”
Ellie gasped in excitement, nearly falling off my lap.
“We have plans? What kind?” Not wanting to risk Ellie getting excited again and falling, I decided it’d be best to go ahead and show them.
I took them to the living room and sat them down on the fluffy rug in front of the coffee table.
“Wait right here, and I’ll show you.” I didn’t have to go too far to grab the items I had stashed earlier. “Cover your eyes.”
Ellie did as I asked and giggled up a storm as I carefully placed the tea set, the nail polish supplies, and even some new coloring books I had found on the table.
“Okay, you can open your eyes now, princess.”
“Daddy!” Ellery gasped, eyes wide with excitement, as they took in all the goodies.
“The tea set is so pretty! Sparkle polish too. Oh em gee. Can I paint your nails, Daddy?”
When I bought the polish, I assumed my princess would be the one getting their nails painted, but it seemed they had other ideas.
It made me chuckle. Nothing was as it seemed with my princess.
I didn’t have anything against nail polish, it just wasn’t my thing, but if my princess wanted to paint my nails, then I was damn well going to let them.
“Of course, princess, that sounds like fun. Would you like your nails painted as well?”
“Yes, please, Daddy!”
“What would you like to do first, darling?”
Ellie put their hand on their chin and hummed with deep concentration. I bit my lips, stifling a laugh. I didn’t want them to think I was making fun of them. They were just so adorable when they got serious about something.
“Nail salon!”
“You got it, princess.”
Ellery cheered in excitement, and their eyes practically sparkled as I grabbed everything we needed. Once I had the table set up with all our supplies, I bowed in front of Ellery, extending my hand out toward them when I rose.
“My princess, I shall be escorting you to your nail appointment.”
My sweet Ellie giggled and took my hand, and I led them across the incredibly short distance until we were in front of the coffee table. I placed a cushion on the floor and helped Ellery settle.
Ellie picked the purple sparkle polish, obviously. They were a bit wiggly during the process, but I didn’t mind. Their smile was damn near blinding at times, and it filled me with the utmost pride that I was the one who put it there.
“It’s so sparkly, Daddy. I’m gonna be the prettiest princess.”
I couldn’t help myself as I leaned forward and placed a quick kiss on the tip of their nose. “You are always the prettiest princess, but now you’ll just be even more sparkly than before.”
Ellie giggled and tried their best to stay still, but I could tell they were struggling. Thankfully, I’d had practice, so it didn’t take long before I had every adorable finger painted.
“Thank you, Daddy. It looks so good, I love it!”
My heart felt so full, and I was thrilled that something so simple meant so much to my darling princess.
“You’re welcome, darling.”
Ellie jumped up and spun around in a circle. “Daddy turn! Daddy turn.”
When they stopped spinning, they were slightly dizzy, and I managed to catch them and make sure they didn’t bump their hands.
“Whoa, princess. Not quite yet. We have to wait.”
My heart nearly broke when Ellie’s eyes got big and watery, and their lip jutted out into a full-on pout. “But Daddy, you said I could paint your nails.”
“I did, and you’re going to. But I don’t want your pretty nails to get messed up. We need to wait a few minutes for them to dry before you can paint mine.”
Their pouty lip didn’t budge, but they let out a soft sigh that had my heart wanting to crack in half. “Okay, Daddy. I’ll be good and wait.” Ellie’s obvious displeasure bothered me in ways I didn’t understand, but I did have a solution.
“I think I saw some cookies hiding in the cabinet earlier. Since you did so well for me while I painted your nails, I think you deserve a cookie while we wait.”
“Cookie! Cookie! Please, Daddy!”
On instinct, I went to pick them up, but had to stop myself so I didn’t ruin their nails. “Stay right here, darling. I’ll be right back.”
Ellie was giggling. Their dragon, Tristy, was on the couch next to them.
As I grabbed the cookies from the kitchen, I heard Ellie attempting to whisper to Tristy, but it was almost full volume.
They were adorable. Ellie talked proudly about their Daddy, who had to go on a scary mission to rescue the cookies from their captor—the evil cabinet.
That time I couldn’t stifle the deep laugh that burst from my chest.
“What’s so funny, Daddy. Are you eating the cookies without me?”
