She’s been sleeping for forty-five minutes. I should leave. I should get up, walk out of her apartment, and go home. Sitting here, watching her as she takes each breath, is probably creepy.

Just another few minutes.

Then I’ll go.

And after that, I’m going to forget about her, once and for all.
