Chapter 61

Sleeping on the floor between several people is not a smart move. I stretch and groan. Yeah, not a good idea at all. A small noise reaches my consciousness. I turn to look to my right and see Liv’s bare back facing me. The noise is coming from her.

It sounds…like pain. My heart races and I’m unsure what to do. I rake through my mind to remember everything that happened last night. Whoa there buddy. I grab myself through the blanket that’s draped over me and Liv. Now is not the time.

Liv whines again and I roll over, leaning across her gently. “Are you ok?” I ask quietly. The guys are still asleep.

Her hand drags along her shoulder, between her neck and shoulder. Her skin turning red, she’s putting pressure. More memories flash through my mind.

“Are you sore?” I ask and she nods. I can see her pouting slightly.

“Ok roll over.” I tell her and push gently on her back to get her to lay flat on her stomach.

She tenses and fights me a little.

“Liv. Just trust me. Please.”

She looks at me over her shoulder for a moment, sighs and lays flat on her stomach, her head facing towards me.

I gently climb on top of her and press my thumbs into the muscles in her lower back along her spine and glide them all the way up.

The loudest, longest moan leaves her mouth and I freeze, my thumbs pressing into the muscles near her neck.

“Rafe…if you don’t keep going I’m going to cry.” She whimpers at me.

I take a deep breath and keep rubbing. Every stroke brings another noise, another moan or whimper.

The pads of my thumbs dig deep into muscles that are knotted and stiff.

I feel bad for how she's feeling right now but my god did she look amazing taking all of me last night. I let out a strangled breath and try to regain control of my dick. I don’t want her to feel pressured. Right now she needs to relax.

“Awe…” I turn my head to see Silas looking over Archer, a disappointed look on his face. “I was hoping you were getting it on.” His hair is a mess and even though his face looks tired, his eyes are full of heat.

I roll my eyes and keep rubbing Liv.

“She’s sore. I’m not gonna do that to her right now.” I tell him with a scowl on my face.

“But you can do it later.” Silas quips.

Liv laughs underneath my hands.

“Is that all you think about?” She asks him.

“No ... Yes…if it involves you? Yes.” He then quite literally rolls over Archer, garnering a muffled ouch and a what the fuck, and nestles next to Liv, placing a gentle kiss on her nose.

“Morning Princess.” He brushes a strand of hair away from her face and looks at her with so much love.

I’ve never seen Silas look at anything with love, except food.

I look between one of my best friends and the girl I’ve been falling head over heels for.

How could I possibly deserve any of this? How is this going to work?

“Careful man. It’s a little too early to be thinking so hard.” Archer says to me. He’s rolled over onto his back and is staring at me with his stern look. I just look at him for a moment. That is until I'm shoved off Liv.

“Hey what the fuck man?” I ask him.

“I’m taking Liv for a hot soak. She clearly needs it.” Silas says as he stands and helps Liv up. She’s naked and gorgeous. She’s clutching a blanket to her front, but that doesn’t mean I didn’t see everything I needed.

Liv and Silas exit the room leaving me and Archer. Archer has righted himself up against the couch, a blanket still slung across his waist. He’s running his hands through his hair and down his face.

“Still tired?” I ask, taking a seat next to him. I find my shirt and pull it on.

“Aren’t you?” He retorts. He stretches and leans his head back on the couch cushion.

“Yeah.” I ponder a moment about everything that happened last night. As cruel as it sounds, we passed Liv around almost all night. She loved every second of it but I noticed something. Archer never actually fucked her.

“What’s on your mind?” He taps me on the shoulder.

I study my best friend for a few beats. If I really think about it, and I am thinking about it, I’ve never seen Archer with a girl. Like actually fuck a girl. He’s semi sort of made out with some but it never lasts long.

“Are you a virgin?” I blurt. Shit.

He stares at me for a long while. I think I may have fucked up but then he laughs and Im completely puzzled.

“What?”

He sighs heavily and calms his laughter. “No, I'm not a virgin. But I was until Liv.” He fiddles with the edge of the cushion “Until a few days ago.”

My jaw drops and I’m shocked. How could I have not known my best friend was a virgin. I guess I just never cared to think about it. There have always been so many girls around I never thought it would be an option.

“That’s…” I start but I really don’t know what to say.

“Crazy? Not really. I knew what I wanted and I knew I hadn’t met the girl who would be ok with it yet.” He tells me.

“But Liv is?” I ask.

He smirks. “Oh yeah.”

I nod slowly thinking it over. I wonder what could be so intense that he hasn’t shared it before. Then my mind wanders…To Liv and what they may have done. Fuck, I need a shower.
