Chapter 17 #2

Trixy is one of the best, and I know how it looks.

I meticulously designed it early this morning when I couldn’t sleep, along with Sienna’s one—elements between the two overlapping.

Her name was now splashed in the colors of the rainbow, with moonflowers surrounding it—the only tattoo in color on my body.

The intention for the overlapping theme and the coloring was purposeful.

Because I am a fucking psycho who is in love with her. Would she see it for what it was?

“You’re done. Can I see it?” Sienna asks when she returns a few minutes later, looking less flustered.

“Later. We need to get back. I have some business at Sin I need to attend to.” Sienna nods and then smiles at Trixy, giving her a warm hug while Trixy reaffirms her attendance at her wedding.

She even exchanges numbers to send her the details—as if there was a scenario where we wouldn’t go together.

No. I had already arranged a dress for her. She was always going to be my plus one.

The car ride home is filled with silence. I suspect it is because Sienna is trying to work out her feelings, and today was a bombshell in that department.

“I want to go with you to Sin. ”

Her words are not surprising. She wants things to go back to normal.

While I was worried about her safety, Sin had been swept for cameras, and security had been increased.

Jordan and Kai had upgraded the systems, which now included facial recognition for all patrons, even those just attending the club.

The safest place for her to be was there and with me.

“Fine. But as soon as you don’t feel up to it, just tell me. I can get someone else to fill in for you.”

“You don’t have to do that, Damon. Treat me differently. You’ve already done so much.”

She is looking at me expectantly, a question between those words that she is too afraid to ask.

Why I am doing all this for her.

I won’t make it easy for her. If she wants to know, she must be brave enough to ask.

We arrive at my building with those words lingering in the air.

When I open her door for her and hold out my hand, she hesitates before taking it.

The walk inside is filled with tension and more silence.

“Do you own this building?” she asks me as we stand, waiting for the elevator.

“Yes.”

“And you stay across from me?”

“Yes.”

The elevator pings its arrival, and we step in, Sienna moving to stand in the furthest corner.

“What?” I ask when her eyes start boring a hole into my back.

“Nothing.” She sounds defeated.

I slam my fist down on the emergency stop button, causing Sienna to jump in fright as the elevator comes to a halt. The lights dim, and then, seconds later, a red emergency light comes on.

“Ask me what you want to ask.”

She looks at me like a trapped deer. Her cheeks are flushed, and she bites her bottom lip as she eyes me, trying to decide if she is brave enough. She worries about the answer to her question when she shouldn’t.

“Why are you doing all this for me? We only met a couple of weeks ago, and you have done so much for me already. And then there are all the sexual things…” Her hand gestures between the two of us as her words pe ter off.

“And yet we haven’t even kissed. I don’t know anything about you.”

The way she scrunches her nose and pulls her mouth is so cute as if her words might offend me.

“Do you want me to kiss you, Sienna?” My voice is low. Husky. The thought of claiming her lips, tasting her, biting that plump flesh she so freely punishes with her teeth. Fuck, I have dreamed of it.

She blushes and then nervously runs her hands up and down over her jean-clad thighs, looking at a spot on the floor.

“Eyes on me, rainbow.” She lifts her gaze and then slowly nods, flattening her hands against the mirror panel behind her.

“Words, Sienna. Ask me.”

She gulps and then swallows. But what she says is not what I expect.

“Do you want to kiss me?” She is putting this on me. And that’s fine.

“You are wondering if I have thought of my tongue running over your bottom lip. If I have had dreams of feasting on that mouth that forms the perfect ‘o.’ The perfect shape to wrap around my hard cock.” I keep my voice low and take a step towards her.

The vein on her neck pulses quickly, and her throat struggles to swallow. The gulp she takes tells me as much.

Her eyes are all over me, watching every movement as I am with her.

She is doing that thing again. Squeezing her highs together as lust floods her system.

Trying to ease an ache that only I know how to evoke and one which I can either increase or ease, depending on my mood.

Right here, right now, I wanted to spur that ache on, punish her for doubting her feelings and mine.

“You want to know if I have fantasized about how soft that little tongue of yours will feel against mine. How sweet the taste of you will be. If I will become addicted to it like I have to the taste of your wet, delicious cunt.”

She moans as I take another step towards her, her eyes dipping to my mouth. The desire and what she wants are clear. But I will not give it to her that easily.

“You want to know how many times I have come in the shower, stroking myself off to thoughts of my tongue fucking your mouth, devouring you, and stealing your breath until your breath is mine. Until there is no beginning or end to where I start, and you stop.”

I close the distance between us, grasping her lightly around her neck while I push my body against hers.

My dick grinds into her stomach, but I am careful not to put pressure on her tattoo.

Using my thumb and forefinger, I guide her neck to the side before dipping my head.

I run my nose along her jaw, up her cheek, and then hover close to her ear.

“Tell me, Sienna. Do you want to kiss me?” I let my mouth ghost over her earlobe, a shiver running along her body as goosebumps erupt all over, even on her cheek.

She moans and then nods before finally answering my question with words.

“Yes, Damon. I want to kiss you. I have since the first time I saw you.”

That’s all it takes. Green eyes stare at me and then close as my breath fans her mouth.

Fuck, she is gorgeous.

This is it. Once I do this, there is no fucking going back. She will own me. But fuck if I don’t want to be her slave.

The touch of my lips against hers is electric.

Every feeling is amplified. Her lips are smooth, and their slight movement against mine fuels my greed as I deepen the kiss.

Her moan works its way up her throat and parts her lips slightly, her breath mixing with mine before my tongue delves into her mouth.

So fucking warm. So fucking velvety. She tastes like nothing on earth.

The only other place I would find that exact flavor would be in fucking heaven.

A place I would never see, yet I have somehow been blessed to experience it in this moment.

The devil will have his pound of flesh for this, but I don’t care.

I let the moment consume me. I let her corrupt my darkness while I scorch her with fire and heat.

My hand snakes up to cup the back of her neck as I angle her head to give me deeper access. Sienna's hands grab onto my shoulders, her attempt to steady and ground herself as she pushes against my body.

Futile. We are no longer on the ground but soaring, diving, falling. Crashing into one another forcibly and then gently. The impact of this kiss is clear to both of us. It is everything.

Every love song, every heartfelt gesture, every man and woman driven mad by emotion—the very essence of why we exist at all—is encompassed in the point where Sienna and I touch—where our souls meet. The dark and the light swirl around each other to become something else, something new.

I knew this to be what it was because I had lived with the opposite of it for so long: hate.

I suddenly understood why every bad thing had happened to me. Why every moment I had endured that festered and created that hate existed. So that I would recognize its opposite in this very moment.

Love.
