34. Iris

Iris

Ijust let the Slayer go down on me.

No, it wasn’t just that. I let the Slayer go down on me, and I was into it, more than into it. He made me orgasm. No man has ever done that before.

I glance over at him as he kisses my hand and patiently waits for me to speak. The Slayer doesn’t seem patient by nature. It’s something he only extends to me.

My throat feels dry as I clutch my towel against my chest. When I saw that stake in his chest, when I thought it might be the end for him, I was terrified.

More than afraid if I was being honest. The thought of losing the Slayer and Adam made me feel like a piece of my heart was being ripped out of my chest.

When he wouldn’t look at me or hold me after, all that terror came sweeping back in. What if we don’t survive this? What if I lose everything I didn’t know I wanted or needed?

As hard as it is, I want to figure this out. All of it. How to share the Slayer and Adam and how to make all our lives fulfilling. But if the other slayers are anything like tonight, I might never get that chance.

So, I opened my towel and let the Slayer touch me and now I want him even more.

“What is it, my Iris?” he questions, grabbing one of my twists, toying with the gold jewelry there.

His dark eyes give him away; he’s worried about his performance, all the while my mind is completely blown while also being endlessly worried about what the future is going to bring.

“No one has ever made me come before,” I say softly, deciding to stare at his tattooed chest instead of his face. As far as I can tell, he hasn’t gained any new designs for taking out a fellow slayer.

“That was when your pretty pussy clenched my fingers and gushed around my face.”

I choke on my spit, coughing slightly at his words. He isn’t being facetious, he’s being blunt, and it’s crazy how much his words affect me as more desire coats my thighs.

His large hand moves to cup my chin and he stares at me like I’m his reason for living as he speaks. “You’re the sweetest thing I’ve ever tasted. I can scent your need. Do you want me again?”

My tongue darts out, licking my lips, and he tracks the motion with hungry eyes.

We need him to rest, charge up, and teleport us back home and re-focus on the mission. Logically, I know all this, yet my legs apparently have a mind of their own as they spread open, and the Slayer glances down at my pussy like it’s his salvation.

Our gazes lock and he slides a hand down my body, cupping me as he leans down and takes my mouth. This is the hardest he’s ever kissed me, his mouth dominating mine as his tongue slides into my mouth at the same pace as his fingers slipping into my center.

His cock is aching and hard against my hip. I reach across my body and wrap my hand around his girth. The moan that echoes throughout our kiss has my pleasure ratcheting up another ten degrees.

Our lips part, and the rest of the world disappears. I’m not worried about anything except how good it feels to be touched by him and the enjoyment of making him feel good. There’s no fear, just unbridled physical gratification.

The Slayer looks down at where I’m touching him and his breath hitches.

“Your hand looks perfect wrapped around my cock,” he says and I moan as his fingers curl inside me, hitting the right spot. “You’re so beautiful.”

I stroke his length with more vigor and we both stare at each other.

“You’re beautiful, too,” I whisper, meaning every word. I’ve never felt this attraction to anyone in my entire life. It’s like the Slayer has turned on a switch that’s been dormant, and now I’m blazing with unfamiliar desire.

The words have him fucking into my hand, as he retakes my mouth, his fingers shifting into me at just the right angle.

I fall apart at the same moment his release coats my hand and forearm. Something like that would usually seem unsatisfying and possibly even gross before, but not at all with him. I like that I made him come, that there’s evidence of it between us.

He softens in my hand and I let go, using the towel to clean myself off. The Slayer, however, does not remove his fingers.

I clear my throat and he shakes his head.

“Could I…I wish to sleep with my fingers inside you,” he asks softly. I wasn’t even sure his voice could go that soft.

“Okay,” I answer back, nearly as a whisper as we adjust our bodies so that the Slayer is wrapped around me.

He doesn’t remove his fingers and I think there’s no way I could possibly ever sleep like this.

It’s not something I’ve ever done before.

But his possessive touch, warm kisses on my shoulder, all if it lulls me into a dreamless, blissful sleep.

I blink open my eyes; the Slayer is no longer beside me and it’s then I realize I’ve slept for twelve hours.

“Holy shit,” I murmur to myself.

That’s the best sleep I’ve gotten in years and it’s probably because an ancient vampire slayer who’s possessed a very attractive man slept with his fingers inside me all night.

I’m not going to overthink this. Not anymore. There’s no point in lying to myself.

He’s my mate and, like Violet told me before, there’s no running from the person fate has given you.

I get cleaned up and head into the kitchen. I’m shocked when there’s coffee and two bagel sandwiches on the table.

“Where did you get these?” I ask and the Slayer shrugs.

“Don’t worry. I let Adam handle it.”

I hum in my throat and sit at the table. “You let Adam help?”

“Yes. I’ve learned he’s actually not as pathetic and annoying as I originally thought.”

I give the Slayer an unamused look, but he shrugs, sitting across from me, taking a huge bite into his breakfast bagel. I take a sip of my coffee, humming around the warmth.

“I mean, how else would I know how to service your cunt so well if it weren’t for Adam?”

I nearly spit out my coffee.

“Where did you learn that word? And wait. Adam helped you last night?” I’m not sure why, but the thought of it all has my cheeks heating.

Does that mean I was with two men at the same time last night? Goddess, this is all so confusing.

“Adam told me but I can’t decide which word I like better. They’re both so pretty.” The Slayer sighs and maybe rolls his eyes. “Adam says that last night was good for him, too.”

“May I speak to him?”

The Slayer doesn’t look thrilled at my request, but for the first time, he doesn’t give me any shit. In a moment, his eyes go back to the warm, soft ones of Adam as he looks at me sheepishly. There’s a rosy tint to his cheeks as he looks at me.

Suddenly I feel shy now that it’s Adam I’m talking to. The Slayer is obvious about his attraction and loving everything last night. What if Adam’s feelings aren’t the same? I know he’s attracted to me, but I don’t want him to feel like we have to be together because he’s trapped with the Slayer.

“I’m sorry if you didn’t know I was there or didn’t want me there,” he says.

I reach out, instinctually, and grab his hand, lightly squeezing his fingers in mine.

“I like that you were there.” The words are damn near a whisper coming out of my mouth, but it does the trick as he smirks back at me. “Could you…” Great. How the fuck do I ask this question?

Luckily, Adam takes pity on me, understanding what I’m about to ask.

“The Slayer controlled the body, but I could feel everything as if I was there. He didn’t know what to do, and I talked him through it.”

Those words have me sitting up a little straighter, crossing my legs a little tighter.

Who the hell are these men turning me into?

I’m not someone who gets turned on, not really.

Sure, every now and then I’d get the itch and touch myself.

I even tried a few one-night stands, but it never did anything for me.

I never said it out loud, but I had mostly considered myself asexual.

I wasn’t repulsed by sex, but I never had a true attraction to anyone and I never craved intimacy.

Now here I am wet and excited by the thought of both the Slayer and Adam having received and given me pleasure last night.

It was the Slayer’s hands that made me fall apart, but it was all with Adam’s direction, and I’m truly not sure what to say.

Adam clears his throat. “It appears this bond between me and the Slayer is shifting. Neither one of us completely disappears when the other has control of the body anymore. But if you’re uncomfortable, I can do my best to not be present.”

Did my silence give him the wrong impression?

I feel mortified if I’m being honest about what I need to say, but there’s no way that I can let him think that I don’t want him.

Somehow I went from a witch who was content living a lonely peaceful life to one who wants two boyfriends who share the same body.

“I want you present. I want both of you. Whatever that looks like.”

His gaze meets mine, and it’s soft and open. He squeezes my hand, his thumb rubbing gentle circles against my skin.

“This is all pretty fucked-up and complicated.”

I snort a laugh and relax a little, because he gets it. The Slayer has more of a black and white way of thinking, but Adam understands that this won’t be easy by any means.

“There’s still a lot that needs to be done,” I say, sobering up all this ridiculous lust I’m feeling right now.

“There is.” He gives me a soft smile.

These feelings are scaring the shit out of me and I wonder if I should even get my hopes up. Last night I saw how easily the Slayer was almost taken from me. Part of me wants to run away so I can’t get hurt, but I’m far past that. Now isn’t the time to run away scared, now’s the time to plan.

“We should get back home. We need to have a better plan for these other books,” I tell him.

The Slayer takes over, looking at me appreciatively. He took over the body in a damn near instant and I wonder why.

“Yes, and I need to have a chat with Scarlett.”

“Uh. Okay.”

We gather what little things we have with us, the Slayer wrapping me tight into his strong arms as he teleports us home.
