Chapter Eight Marius #2
“Carden is right here, and he still has school,” Carden said.
“But it’s a five-month-long tour,” Pearl said. “I have tickets for two concerts already.”
Carden leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes. “Once I’m on break, I’ll visit my boyfriend, and we will make out backstage for the fun of it before we disappear into the hotel to fuck like rabbits,” he said.
Marius looked at him. They hadn’t discussed this either, but it wasn’t like Marius had any objections.
As if sensing Marius’ thoughts, Carden opened his eyes and looked at him. He smiled. “I want to be with you, and phone sex isn’t the same. Just ask Adam.”
“It’s true. I mean, it’s still hot, but yeah, it’s not the same,” Adam said.
“Carden.”
“Oh, hey, they are playing my song,” Carden said and got up from the chair. “Who wants to dance?”
“Lovely Carden,” Sebastian said. “I'd like to whisk you away to the dance floor.”
Carden laughed and took Sebastian’s hand. Marius didn’t feel jealous in the slightest. He would cut in later.
“Carden really is lovely,” Chris said.
“Yeah,” Marius replied, because it made him feel warm inside when someone said something nice about his boyfriend.
“They look damn hot together,” Adam said, his gaze fixed on Carden and Sebastian dancing. They were laughing too. Marius really liked the curve of Carden’s lips.
“Yeah,” Marius repeated.
“I told Carden I would not give you the ‘if you hurt him’ talk,” Adam said.
“I appreciate it,” Marius replied.
“I don’t have the power to hurt you,” Adam continued and then glanced at Sebastian on the dance floor.
Marius followed his gaze. “But you know people in high places?”
“The way you look at him,” Chris cut in, “I don’t think Adam has to worry. He’s just overprotective because Carden’s last boyfriend had been a total tool.”
“He was an asshole. Total waste of space,” Pearl cut in.
“I assure you, I am not an asshole,” Marius said, getting up.
“Where are you going?” Pearl asked.
“To cut in, I want to dance with my boyfriend,” Marius replied.
He made his way to the dance floor in no time. Sebastian saw him coming and stepped away with a smile. “All yours,” he said.
He is, Marius thought, but didn’t feel the need to voice it and stake his claim.
Carden’s arms came around his neck, and he smiled. “Took you long enough.”
“You seemed to have a lot of fun with Sebastian Winter,” Marius replied.
“Are you mad that I didn’t tell you Adam dates celebrities?”
“No,” Marius replied and meant it too. He could feel Carden’s breath on his skin when they talked. They had to get real close to hear each other over the music, but it wasn’t like Marius minded that.
Carden kissed him.
“What was that for?”
“You being you,” Carden replied and kissed him again.

“You’re staring,” Carden said.
Marius was staring. “Yeah.”
“Stop it,” Carden mumbled into the pillow. He was fucking adorable. Marius wanted to ruffle his hair and kiss his nose and then slide right back into his tight ass.
“Can’t.”
“Why?” Carden asked.
“Because you’re captivating, that’s why,” Marius replied.
“It’s too early for staring or being awake.”
“You’re awake,” Marius pointed out.
“Because I could feel your eyes on me,” Carden said and finally turned over so Marius could see his face. He stroked a finger over Carden’s face, and when he touched Carden’s lips, Carden nipped at his finger. He pulled it away and laughed. “Be real with me, are you a morning person?”
“Would that be a dealbreaker?” Marius asked.
“No. I don’t think anything would be a deal breaker at this point.”
“Really? What if in reality I’m really, really kinky?”
“I think I would have found out by now? I mean, we’ve been at it pretty much every day since you came back from tour.”
“Maybe I didn’t want to scare you away?” Marius teased.
“I know kinky people. You are not one of them. Hmm, maybe you’re just a bit kinky, like pinning me down and biting my neck makes you hard, but you’re not the kind to want me on my knees with a collar and a cock ring while I call you Sir.”
Marius could hear the capitals in ‘Sir.’ In an abstract way, that image was kind of hot, but when he put Carden there, lovely Carden, he didn’t feel aroused at all.
Marius kissed his cheek. “You’re right. I don’t want that.”
“Good, because I’m not that kinky either. There's nothing wrong with it, but it’s not me. I like orgasms too much and don’t want to be told when or if I am going to have one.” He snuggled into Marius and then closed his eyes. “So why are you up already?”
“I am a morning person. I need to confess that now. But I guess you were on to me, as I’m always awake before you.”
“It’s a good thing,” Carden said.
“Yeah?”
“Yeah, you can get your kink on by watching me sleep and touching me until I wake up. I don’t mind, by the way, and then you can make me coffee and breakfast.”
“You like to be spoiled, don’t you, lovely Carden?”
“Hmm,” Carden said. “I really do. And you are doing a great job of it too. I wonder what the hell I will do with myself once you’re touring again.”
“Maybe we should have this discussion after a shower and breakfast,” Marius said.
He didn’t particularly want to have this discussion today, but last night at the club, Carden said that he would tour with him for a while, or at least visit Marius on tour, so they needed to make a plan.
He needed to talk to his band and his manager about it, and he was sure the label would have to say something about it.
But they were the hottest band right now, so he thought he might get his way.
Carden grumbled, but he got out of bed and went to shower while Marius put on coffee and made toast and eggs. He was becoming very familiar with Carden’s tiny apartment.
Carden was a temptation on every given day and every given second, to be honest, but freshly showered, he looked young and beautiful, and Marius wanted to bundle him up and keep him safe from every goddamned bad thing out there.
Carden smiled at him softly and then sat at the breakfast bar.
He only wore one of Marius’ shirts, and it was too big for him.
It slid down one shoulder and made Carden’s collarbone look very sexy.
Marius needed to get a grip if he got a hard-on for collarbones, he thought, amused.
He put a mug of coffee with a lot of milk and sugar in front of Carden, and his boyfriend thanked him with a smile before he took a careful sip.
“Just like I like it. See? You are doing an excellent job of spoiling me.”
The thing was, it was too easy to spoil Carden, and he liked doing it too.
“Eat your breakfast,” Marius said.
Carden smirked and did. Once they were done, Carden put the dishes away, and then they settled on the bed again because Carden didn’t have a sofa. The space was too small for that.
“I guess we need to talk,” Carden said.
“Well, we can just avoid it until the last possible moment, but I don’t think that would be a good idea.” Not that it wasn’t tempting to do just that.
Carden cuddled into him. “I like how soft you are.”
Marius’ heart skipped a beat. Before Carden, he hadn’t liked to be reminded of all his soft parts, all that extra flesh and fat he had on his body, but he didn’t mind at all now.
Carden was clearly into it. He loved to ride Marius and run his hands all over Marius’ chest and belly; he liked to bite Marius’ fleshy arms and his hips when he went down on him.
Fuck, Marius really needed to stop thinking about all the wonderfully filthy things Carden liked to do to him.
“I like that you like it,” Marius said.
“I meant it last night, you know? I do want to visit you when you’re on tour.
I will be on summer break then, so I’ll have time.
And if you let me sleep in your bed, I might even be able to afford more than one trip too.
I have a summer job lined up because…money is tight right now, but I could still make it to some of your shows. ”
“I’d always let you sleep in my bed,” Marius replied. “I’d let you eat my food too.” He would pay for transportation as well, but he didn’t think Carden would let him. Carden wasn’t looking for a sugar daddy. He had made that clear. It didn’t mean, of course, that he didn’t want to be spoiled.
“Good, I think we will make it work then. Do you have to talk to people about me being there? You know I don’t expect special treatment, right?”
“I know, but I would love to have you backstage,” Marius replied.
“If it would make you happy.”
Marius kissed his head. “I’ll talk it over with the band and the label. We’ll make it work somehow, because months without touching you would be torture.”
They lay on the bed in silence for so long that Marius was sure Carden had fallen asleep again.
“I want to go to the launch party with you,” Carden said.
“I’m glad.”
“As your plus one, I mean, if you want to,” Carden said in nearly a whisper.
Marius kissed his temple again. “Yeah, I do want to. Does that mean you want to make it official?”
“Better on our terms, I guess?” Carden said.
“It might cause trouble for you at school,” Marius warned.
Carden shrugged. “Fuck them. Yeah? What do I care about random strangers.”
“What about your ex?” Marius asked.
Carden sighed. “Pearl told you he was a total asshole.”
It wasn’t a question, but Marius answered anyway. “Yeah, she did. Adam said some choice words too, and you told me he didn’t let you top, so…yeah. I figured he was an asshole.”
“He was, but I don’t think he will try and sabotage us.
He cut me out of his life when I left, or, well, he threw me out on my ass.
I slept at Adam’s for a while until I got this studio.
” Carden bit his lip. “He called and left messages before I blocked his number, but he never tried to contact any of my friends or came to school to talk it out. So, yeah. I think Kevin is done with me.”
“Good,” Marius said. “I’d hate to have to call security on him or something.”
Carden laughed. “Man, that would be funny. Anyhow, you don’t have to worry about any rumors or dark secrets from my past. It’s not like I’m Sebastian Winter with his sex club scandal.”
“Okay, then. If you are sure about us going public with our relationship.”
“I am,” Carden said.
Something inside Marius settled at that. Carden was claiming him for the world to see, and he let Marius claim him in return.
“Good.”
“Good,” Carden replied.
◆◆◆
Carden was spacing out. He did that sometimes when Marius was making food or writing new song lyrics and melodies.
He just sat on the sofa and looked out of the window.
Marius knew he had lucked out with his new apartment.
The big window showed a park just across the street.
In the summer it would be like living in a treehouse.
But something about this particular picture was enchanting.
Maybe it was the light that bathed Carden in a soft glow.
He looked like his shoulders were dipped in gold.
His pale blond hair looked nearly white, and the look on his face was so dreamy and serene.
He was beautiful and lovely. Marius snapped a picture.
Carden looked at him then. “Did you just snap a picture?”
“Yeah, I couldn’t help myself. Want to see?”
Carden made a face but then nodded and came over to where Marius was sitting on the floor with his notebooks.
He plopped down next to Marius. “I don’t like looking at pics of myself. I guess it’s similar to you not wanting to listen to your songs on the radio. But I wonder how you see me,” he said. There was an emphasis on ‘you.’ It made Marius feel warm inside. Right around his heart.
Marius showed him the picture he took only moments ago. Carden looked at it for a long time, not saying a word, and then he turned to Marius and kissed him. It started out soft but turned hot and heavy in no time.
“You like it then?” Marius asked.
“Yes,” Carden replied. “I like it. Please send it to me.”
Marius nodded, and then he kissed Carden again.
He figured they had time for a blowjob or two.
He threw his phone aside and focused on his lovely boyfriend.
Carden was already crawling into his lap, making himself right at home there.
And then they were kissing again, tongues battling for dominance until Marius surrendered and let Carden have his way.
He pushed Marius down and ran his hands over his sides, his torso, down to his hips, and squeezed.
“Love this, love it so much,” he said, and then he sat up and got rid of his shirt. His creamy skin was a temptation Marius could not resist. His hands ran up and down his chest, and then he pulled him down again, because a moment without Carden’s mouth pressed against his was a wasted one.
They were breathing heavily once they pulled apart. His dick was so hard, it hurt, and Carden seemed to be in a similar state.
“Need you in my mouth,” he said and attacked Marius’ pants.
He was glad he opted for the sweatpants after their shower this morning.
Carden had it pulled down in a matter of seconds, and then his mouth was around his aching dick.
Marius cursed, and Carden took him deeper.
He was so fucking good at this, and by now he knew exactly how to drive Marius crazy with lust.
“Carden,” he panted, his hands finding their way into that soft blond hair.
Carden hummed, and Marius’ fingers tightened in his locks. His hips shot forward, and he slid even further down that hot, wet, tight mouth.
“Carden,” he said again, pulling at his hair.
Carden finally relented and pulled away. “What? You were close. I want to taste your hot cum. Let me.”
“I want your dick in my mouth too.”
“After.”
“Sixty-nine?”
“After,” Carden said firmly, kissed his stomach, and swallowed him down again. This time he let Carden have him. Let him suck his life out of him via his dick.
Once it was over, he pulled Carden up to kiss him and give his boyfriend the best blowjob of his life. Carden came with a shout as soon as a wet finger entered his hole. Marius felt very fucking smug.
“You’re way too good at this.”Carden panted beside him.
“Right back at you,” he said as the sweat cooled on their skin.
“Bed for round number two?”
“Always,” Marius replied.
