Chapter 32 #2
When she was finished, he crawled up her body with a satisfied grin. “I love feeling how you respond to me. I’m rock-fucking-hard from your noises, and I’m going to do that every single day until you can’t take it anymore.”
She pressed her lips to his, her body loose and sated. “I won’t object to that.”
Vade settled himself on top of her and reached down between them, lining himself up. “Tell me if it hurts, and I’ll stop immediately.”
She clung to him, wanting nothing more than for the fae to sink himself inside her. “Okay.”
He eased himself in, only giving her a couple inches.
Orelia dug her nails into his back, turning her head into his arm to hide her wince. But she wanted this. Wanted him.
Vade stilled his hips and began working his finger on her clitoris. The feel of the rough pad of his finger drove her wild. Orelia lifted her hips the best she could, encouraging him for more as her body loosened for him.
He chuckled. “Easy. We’ll get there.”
“But I need you now. All of you.”
“You have me. For as long as you want me.” The truth etched itself onto his beautiful face. He meant every word.
Vade eased himself in another few inches, watching her react with his intense focus. “You feel so fucking good, Orelia.”
She writhed underneath him as he filled her, nails digging into his hips as she braced for the rest of him. When he slid the rest of the way in, she sucked in a breath. He was enormous, and though he stretched her wide, there was little discomfort.
They kissed as Vade began rolling his hips, working her body to fully accept his. The bed creaked as they moved together, his cock sliding in and out of her.
Orelia moaned, overcome by how right and how good he felt. “Fuck . . .Vade . . .” she muttered into his neck.
He quickened his movements, one hand gripping her hip, the other tangled in her hair. “Hearing that sweet little mouth curse makes me even harder.” Vade rocked into her and her skin threatened to catch fire.
She slid her hands to his ass. His glute muscles clenched with each thrust, the feel of his strong physique under her fingers making her even slicker.
“I take fertility elixirs frequently, so you don’t have to worry,” he said through a ragged breath.
Orelia whimpered against his lips. “Good, because I can’t wait to feel you spill yourself inside me.”
His pupils blew wide. “Fucking hells. I didn’t know you were capable of talking like that.” The fae picked up his pace, and the headboard knocked against the wall.
“Only for you,” she drawled. He made her want to be braver, to be bolder, to tell him how he made her feel and what she wanted. Orelia was no longer worried about how she’d be perceived for expressing her desires. She just wanted him to fulfill them.
She let her eyes close, losing herself in him as the bed struggled to support their movements. The sultry woman she’d wanted to become could finally be expressed. He gave her the courage to be as vocal as he was and she delighted in how powerfully feminine it made her feel.
“Look at me,” Vade commanded in that deep voice of his, clutching her face. Onyx eyes locked onto hers. He gripped the highest slat on the headboard, bicep bulging. “I want you to watch me come inside you and know that you are mine. Only mine.”
She was going to explode from his words alone.
He dug his nails into the soft flesh of her hips, and Orelia gripped his upper back, their skin sliding together as Vade’s breaths became shorter and shorter.
Orelia did as he said and kept her eyes on his. When she bit her bottom lip, he drove into her in deep thrusts. She moaned his name, and the sheer ecstasy on his face as he burst nearly made her follow him into bliss.
When his cock had finished twitching, Vade slumped on top of her, his warm breaths tickling her neck. After he’d settled, he kissed her, holding his lips to hers for a long moment.
Gods, she never wanted to stop doing this with him.
“I . . .I never knew it could be like that,” he said through a labored breath.
She panted up at him. “Me either.” She’d had sex with Tommen many times, but the intimacy with Vade was different. Stronger. Deeper. Hard-earned from them both.
Vade shifted so he laid beside her and rested his palm on her stomach, gazing at her with overflowing joy. “I’ve never thought much of my name, but hearing it moaned from your lips is the sweetest sound.”
She rolled over to face him, letting him run his fingertips along the curves of her body.
“You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.”
She smiled. “You’re beautiful too.”
He let out a sharp laugh. “Beautiful? I think you mean ruggedly handsome,” Vade preened.
She rolled her eyes. “There’s that arrogant fae attitude I’ve come to enjoy.”
He cupped her chin and kissed her. “Wait right here. I’ll be back.”
Orelia propped her head in her hand and watched his sculpted ass as he padded into the washroom. When he disappeared around the corner, she laid back down and let the last of the sun kiss her bare skin.
In her peaceful state, she slipped into sleep and awoke to a gentle hand nudging her shoulder. Out the windows, the sky had turned to a deep purple, and the fire in the hearth had been brought back to life, casting shadows on the beast of a man staring down at her.
His imposing frame had once frightened her, but as she gazed up at the fae who’d confessed his love, she only saw a man longing to be cared for. Orelia squealed as he put her over his shoulder and carried her into the washroom, gripping the backs of her thighs tight.
Vade set her on her feet, and she turned to see the copper tub full of steaming water, candles lit on the windowsill, and plumrose petals floating on the water’s surface.
“Too much?” he asked with soft eyes saying he wanted to please her. “Are the candles too close to the water? Are there enough petals?”
Death’s Shadow was unsure of himself, and it was adorable.
She couldn’t stop smiling. “This is perfect.” Orelia poked at his heart. “I knew there was a romantic in there somewhere.”
He huffed and stepped into the water. “Cut me some slack, lamb. I’m new at this love stuff.” Vade leaned back against the far side of the tub and rested his arms on the sides.
Orelia sauntered over, thoroughly enjoying the admission that he didn’t know what he was doing trying to romance her, even though he had done everything right.
Wandering eyes watched her dip into the water. She scooted in between his legs and leaned back against his chest, resting her head on his collarbone.
Vade wrapped his arms around her, covering her breasts and kissing her temple.
They held each other in the welcoming comfort of the hot water. Her eyes drifted out the window to the stars sparkling in the violet sky and the crescent moon peeking out from behind the clouds. She’d never felt such peace, cradled in the safe arms of a loving man.
Orelia tilted her head and looked up at him. “Vade?”
“Hmm?”
She gave him her best smile. “I love you, too.”
His lips parted. Vade spun her around, and water sloshed out of the tub onto the wood floors. His eyes were so wide she could see much more white than black. “Say it again.”
Orelia cupped his face. “I love you.”
His eyes went misty and he smiled so big that her heart nearly leapt from her chest. “Say it again.”
She laughed. Orelia peppered his face in kisses between each ‘I love you’ while he squeezed her so tight she could barely breathe.
Their mouths found each other again, tongues dancing in tandem. Orelia climbed up his body, the tub wide enough so she could comfortably straddle him.
His cock brushed against her, fully erect.
“Already set to go again?” she teased.
“I’d say us fae have quite the stamina in general, but it’s you that’s doing this to me.”
Orelia guided him into her, sinking down on him.
Vade sucked in a breath as she buried him inside her to the hilt. Orelia gripped his broad shoulders and began rolling her hips, not caring about the water cascading over the edge of the tub in rhythmic sheets.
“Oh, fuck . . .” Vade muttered, clutching her hips.
Orelia grabbed his hands and covered her breasts with them. She tilted her head back, letting her hair skim the top of the water. She moaned at the feel of him and began moving faster.
“I am never going to get tired of this view,” Vade said in a voice laced with male dominance.
She let heavy jade eyes fall back to his and lifted his hand, eyeing his finger.
Vade seemed to sense her hesitation. “I want you to feel comfortable finding your confidence with me. Anything you want to do or try, I’ll gladly embrace it.”
Orelia took his finger in her mouth, sucking and licking as she resumed the slow roll of her hips.
His cock twitched inside her. “Fucking hells, Orelia.”
The desire in his eyes made her bolder. “Tell me you’re sorry for flirting with the barmaid in Ricaboro.”
“I’m sorry,” he blurted out. Vade’s burning gaze was so focused she thought it might melt her skin clean off. She had the royal executioner’s full attention and was loving every second of it.
Orelia moved his hands back to her hips and slowed her pace. “Tell me you’re sorry for giving the waitress at the card game attention instead of me.”
“I’m sorry. I’m so fucking sorry.” He went to pull her closer, but she stopped him with a locked arm against his chest.
“Ah, ah, ah. You’re doing what I say now,” she crooned.
The ravenous look on Vade’s face encouraged her to be more assertive than she’d ever been. His dark chuckle sent shivers over her skin despite the hot water. “Yes, my love.”
Those three words made her lift herself off him, then ease him back into her ever so slowly. Vade gripped the sides of the tub, arms straining as he groaned his pleasure.
“How does that feel?” The voice that came out of her was from a much more self-assured woman. Or perhaps she was finally letting herself be who she’d always wanted to be.
Vade’s chest rose and fell with heavy breaths. “Fucking divine. Gods, your pussy feels so good.”
Her heart quickened from his vulgarity, and she leaned forward, taking him deeper. “You’ll never flirt with another woman again, will you?”
He shook his head. “Never again.”
She tilted her head. “And why is that?”
His heavy panting made her grin. “Because I am yours and no one else’s.”
The next words that came out of her mouth took her by surprise. “Good boy.”
Vade stopped breathing. He let the leash he had on himself snap and tackled her, spilling half the water onto the floor. He pinned her against the copper siding and gripped the tub, sliding himself back into her. Water splashed between them as his thrusts turned exquisitely punishing.
“Call me that again,” he begged through ragged breaths.
She didn’t think he’d enjoy her telling him what to do and taking control, but his physical response was telling. Orelia took his bottom lip in between her teeth, feeling a sensual, womanly power come over. “Such a good boy, doing as he’s told. Fucking me with his delicious cock.”
Vade turned into a wild animal.
His shadows burst to life around him, finding her clitoris and vibrating so intensely that she went straight into an orgasm.
Vade spilled himself inside her as she screamed his name, her pleasure erupting, nearly blinding.
They came together, a feverish blend of flushed bodies and splashing water as they found shared euphoria.
She thought she may have blacked out had Vade not gripped her face and forced her to look at him. “Again,” he ordered. Shadows surrounded her body, touching her, teasing her, loving her as he did.
“Make me forget my name,” she pleaded.
He did.
Orelia lost track of how many orgasms she had, and how many he had. They made love to each other, shifting between slow and sweet and rough and wild.
It could have been marks, days, she wasn’t sure. They made use of every surface of the cabin and didn’t stop until neither of them could hold their eyes open a second longer. They drifted off to sleep in a pile of blankets on the floor with Orelia curled into Vade’s side, his arm draped around her.
Nothing mattered except the two of them and the love that had blossomed in the dark, bringing them into each other’s light.
