38. Vladimir
Vladimir
Luna has been back for exactly one day after being gone for thirty-two.
Thirty-two fucking days.
I’d rather have been shot again.
Waking up this morning to her warm, naked body curled against me had nearly sent me into another spiral of obsession. If it weren’t for Nova whining for food, I would’ve kept her in bed for another twenty-four hours.
Now, we’re in the kitchen, surrounded by way too many people for my liking.
Raven and Amani are here. Again.
Konstantin and Dimitri have joined us, too.
The only missing factor is Angel, and at this point, I’m convinced she’s going to move in, too.
I lean back in my chair, arms crossed, watching my wife and her friends chat over breakfast like they didn’t just vanish for over a month. Luna laughs at something Amani says, her hair still messy from sleep, my shirt barely covering her thighs. I want to take her back upstairs immediately.
Dimitri, sitting across from Raven, looks perfectly content, stuffing his face with pancakes like a damn child while stealing glances at her every other bite.
Konstantin, however?
The big bastard keeps looking at Amani and blushing.
Blushing.
Like a schoolboy.
I’ve seen Konstantin break a man’s neck with his bare hands without blinking. But put Amani in the same room, and suddenly, he’s some shy, bumbling idiot.
I cut my steak into even slices, taking my time as I glance at the women. “At this point, should I even ask if Raven and Amani have moved in?”
Luna doesn’t even look up from her food. “They basically live here already.”
Raven nods. “It’s true. I might as well forward my mail here.”
Amani smirks, taking a sip of her mimosa. “Not to mention, I look amazing in every room of this house, so…”
I lift a brow. “Konstantin, any objections?”
Konstantin, whose entire soul has just left his body from that statement, coughs and immediately looks down at his plate.
Dimitri waves a fork in the air. “Absolutely no objections. I fully support this decision.”
Raven scoffs, throwing a piece of bacon at him. “Of course, you do.”
Dimitri catches it in his mouth like a fucking dog, chewing smugly.
“Gross,” Luna mutters, stabbing a piece of egg with her fork.
I glance at my wife and then at the other women. “So… you’re going to tell me what the fuck happened after the EAO left, or are you going to continue avoiding the topic?”
Silence.
Luna, Raven, and Amani exchange loaded glances, their smirks promising chaos.
“So, on the topic of high-priority operations,” Amani purrs, eyes glinting.
“Raven’s birthday is coming up,” Luna adds, her tone dripping with mischief.
“And it’s going to be unforgettable,” Raven finishes, her smile sharp.
I fold my arms, voice low and edged with warning. “What trouble are you three brewing?”
Luna’s eyes glint as she rests her fork down. “It’s life or death, darling. Non-negotiable.”
Dimitri leans back, grinning. “It’s chaos. I wouldn’t miss it.”
“You don’t even know when it is,” I point out flatly.
He shrugs. “Don’t need to. I’ll be there.”
Konstantin rumbles, “So when is it exactly?”
Raven, savoring her drink, replies, “Next Saturday.”
Luna’s lips curve into a wicked smile. “And I’ve secured the venue.”
A heavy beat.
I catch the glint of danger in her eyes. “Luna…” My voice drops, a warning laced with promise. “Where is this disaster happening?”
Her smile sharpens like a blade. “Our club.”
I bark a cold laugh. “Over my dead body.”
She leans back, her smirk cutting. “Too late. Invitations have been sent.”
I can’t deny my wife anything, so I just shut my mouth.
Luna leans in, her lips brushing my jaw. Her voice is a velvet threat. “I promise to make it up to you later if you’re a good boy, Dracula.”
I seize her, tossing her over my shoulder like she weighs nothing.
She gasps, then growls, “Vladimir!”
My palm cracks against her ass, earning a sharp intake of breath. “You’ve sealed your fate, Lisichka.”
Amani fans herself. “Damn, that was hot.”
Konstantin chokes on his drink.
Raven, deadpan as ever, mutters, “I give it five minutes before she’s screaming his name.”
Luna, her fists against my back, snarls, “I despise every single one of you!”
I slap her again.
Without breaking stride, I toss a warning over my shoulder. “Don’t bother us.”
Amani waves lazily. “We’ll keep Nova busy. Handle your business.”
Raven’s voice follows, amused. “We need her in one piece, Vlad.”
I smirk coldly, voice dark as sin. “No promises.”
With Luna writhing and cursing against my shoulder, I carry her into our room, kicking the door shut with finality.
Her hands smack against my back. “Put me down, asshole!”
I toss her onto the bed. She scrambles up, glaring, breathless, and flushed.
I stalk toward her, pulling my shirt off. “You clearly need to be reminded who’s in charge here.”
Luna’s retort dies on her lips as I flip her over, guiding her onto her hands and knees. Her breath stutters, but she doesn’t resist—not even a little. She sinks into the mattress like she’s been waiting for this.
I kneel behind her, drinking in the sight of her body—bent over, thighs spread, cunt glistening, already flushed and trembling. She’s wrecked and perfect.
Mine.
My hand wraps around her throat, firm but careful, tilting her head back until I hear that sharp little hitch in her breath that drives me insane. Her lashes flutter, pupils blown wide, lips parted in anticipation.
“Open your mouth,” I command, voice low and filthy.
She obeys without question, mouth parting just enough.
I spit onto her tongue. Slow. Possessive.
She groans—deep and desperate—and swallows it without hesitation. Her eyes stay locked on me, wild and defiant and burning.
My cock twitches, demanding. I fumble for the nightstand, slicking my fingers with lube, and circle her tight rim, easing my thumb in with practiced precision. She moans, bucking slightly, her whole body reacting to every inch of contact.
I press forward, sliding my cock deep into her soaked pussy, and the heat, the tightness, the raw fucking perfection of her makes me see stars.
A groan rips from my chest, guttural. I grip her back with one hand, my thumb still buried in her ass, the other still around her throat as I start to thrust—hard, deliberate, brutal.
“You and that smart ass mouth will get you in trouble one day, wife,” I growl, voice shaking with the effort it takes not to lose it. “Who’s a good boy now?”
Her body rocks with every thrust, shaking and trembling, and I swear I feel her clench even tighter around me.
And then it hits me.
The image.
Her. Swollen. Round with my child. That perfect little belly, heavy and full, glowing with the proof that she’s mine in every possible way.
The thought sends a white-hot rush straight through me.
“I think I’ll take my reward now, moya Luna,” I rasp against her ear, thrusting deep enough to make her choke on a gasp. “Put a baby in you.”
She jerks beneath me, her whole body trembling.
“Pregnant before the end of the week,” I snarl, slamming into her, relentlessly.
“Or we try?—”
Thrust.
“Every—”
Thrust.
“Single—”
Thrust.
“Night.”
She cries out, voice breaking as her orgasm crashes over her, her walls tightening around me like a goddamn vice. Her hands scramble against the sheets for purchase, legs shaking uncontrollably.
And I lose it.
I press my chest against her back, one hand still gripping her throat as I bury myself to the hilt.
My voice drops into something dark and dangerous, a vow wrapped in filth. “Even when you are, I’m still going to fuck you full. Every night.”
I come with a growl, spilling into her, holding her so tight I can feel our hearts racing in sync. My hips slow but don’t stop, pushing every drop deeper.
We collapse in a tangled mess of sweat and breathless gasps. I pull out slowly, murmuring soft words in Russian as I press kisses to her shoulder blades, her spine, and her neck.
She’s limp against the sheets, utterly spent.
Gently, I pull her to me, wrapping her in the blankets and my arms. She melts against me, and for a moment, everything goes quiet. Only the sound of our breathing and her soft sighs fill the room.
I reach over to the nightstand and pull open the drawer, retrieving the velvet box I stashed earlier.
She blinks, dazed, as I shift and prop myself up, nudging her gently. "Lisichka."
Her tired eyes open, gaze flickering down to the box in my hand.
“Vlad…?”
I open it.
A 3-carat emerald-cut diamond with trapezoid side diamonds set in a yellow gold band.
I got this made after we got back from Bali, patiently waiting for the opportunity to give it to her.
After her being gone for over a month, I don’t think I can wait any longer.
“It won’t interfere with your knife work,” I murmur, brushing my knuckles down her cheek. “You’ll still be able to throw one from any angle. I made sure.”
Tears prick at the corners of her eyes, but she’s too proud to let them fall.
I slide the ring onto her finger slowly, deliberately.
“I know we’re already married,” I whisper, my lips brushing hers, “but this is the one I wanted to give you when it mattered. When you were really mine. You own me, Luna. Body and soul.”
She stares at the ring, then at me. Her voice comes out as a whisper, cracked and breathless. “You’re such a sap for a Russian crime lord.”
I grin, pulling her close again, lips grazing her forehead. “Only for you, Lisichka. Only for you.”
