Empràrs Pass (em-prars-pass): An Azarath Academy graduation exam for fourthlings. It is an endless stretch of rocky terrain in the far northern plains of the Ouanaviel island guarded by ashbats. It’s one of several ways to access Barrenrock and reach the Seal Gate.
Spirit Filing (spirit-filing): The ritual of siphoning an angel’s spirit out of their body after they have been physically killed.
The spirit is siphoned, placed into a Spirit Sphere, and filed in a chamber to enter multiple phases, before the spirit is released to enter eternity by crossing into the timeless realm called: the Ellelights.
Starfellien Ascent (star-fell-ien—ascent): A trial where Ascendants must fly up and through the Starfelliel waterfall, run across the Goldstone Bridge, climb up the side of the Efysien Islet mountain base, and fly through the temple gates, guarded by sunlions, before the descent of the seven suns.
Serving allows enthusiasts to become official Temple Efysis Ascendants.
Objects & Artifacts
Ashiris (ah-shi-ris): A Godstar hand-crafted by the Infinite with properties that births worlds, realms, and creates life from nothing.
Bloodletters (blood-letters): Crimson red ethereal cords that pierce into the body to drain it of blood through cylindrical tubes within the cords.
Dragontail Whip (Dragon-tail-whip): A whip akin to a Cat-O-Nine-Tails. A multi-tailed whip covered in spikes, glass, and other objects used for corporal punishement, and also as an instrument of torture by the Scourgers.
Ethèrlamp (eh-thair-lamp): Lamps made with magic.
Ethèrlock (eh-thair-lock): Locks made with magic.
Saccret (say-krent): The Holy Scroll. A sacred, holy compilation of scriptures Hallowed angels live by.
Scrollbook (scroll-book): Book.
Scrollmap (scroll-map): Map.
Spirit Sphere (spirit-sphere): The crystal, jar-like container used to store spirits after they have been siphoned for Spirit Filing after the physical death of an angel.
Star Gate (star-gate): Portal.
Time & Eras
Cycle (sigh-cull): Year.
Dawn (dawn): Day.
Ellelights (elle-lights): Eternity. Life beyond angelic death. Transition from the physical angelic plane to an ethereal, transcendent plane their spirits go to for all eternity.
Julial (july-al): July.
Thorndawn (thorn-dawn): Tuesday.

Asheater (ash-eater): A vulgar term to call someone a piece of…rot.
Blessed Lights (blessed-lights): Oh em gee.
Bloodthorn (blood-thorn): Prostitute or whore.
Burning Stars (burning-stars): Oh em gee.
Hèls (hells): Hell, a devilish location in the Belial Realms and to mean frustrated, confused, annoyed, or vexed.
Rot (rot): Poop, feces, and similar expressions.
Rotpot (rot-pot): Idiot.
Stars (stars): Oh em gee.
Miscellaneous Terms
Apprenti (app-rent-tea): Apprentice.
Arèmen (ah-rah-men): Amen.
Ascendant (ascend-dant): Angels aspiring to be Disciples in the temples of the Ouanaviel Empyrean.
Bedchamber (bed-chamber): Bedroom. Also interchangeable with differing alcoves within an enlarged bedroom suite.
Bedcloud (bed-cloud): An angelic bed made entirely of clouds and ethereal matter.
Bibi (bee-bee): Son in the common language of angels.
Bond (bond): An ethereal, living, golden cord, sometimes ivory, of life and power woven through the center hearts of angels that eternally binds the angels to one another for eternity and allows them functions such as, speaking to one another telepathically and sharing a measure of their ethèr with each other.
Bonding (bond-ing): The act of marriage and eternal mating between angels which creates an eternal Bond between angels for their lifetimes.
Buckling (buck-ling): A vulgar insult. A bastard child easily abused and used for vile purposes.
Cloudchair (clowd-chair): A chair. Also interchangeable with a single-seater couch.
Dyabèssa (jab-essa): The demoness of the empyrean.
Empràr (em-prar): Emperor.
Fallenspawn (fallen-spawn): Angels raised since their youngling cycles by the Fallen High King and his Shadowlords. Marked with a thorn brand from their neck down their shoulder, and the length of their right arm.
Farasee (fair-ah-see): Priest.
Fifi (fee-fee): Daughter in the common language of angels.
Firstfast (first-fast): Breakfast or the first meal of the day.
Granmanmi (grun-mum-me): Grandmother.
Infinite (in-fi-nite): God, Supreme ruler, Eternal King.
Kouzi (coo-zee): Cousin in the common language of angels.
Lougawès (loo-gah-wes): A witch.
Manmi (mum-me): Mother in the common language of angels.
Papi (pah-pee): Father in the common language of angels.
Parenting (parent-lings): Parents in the common language of angels.
Parilielthai (pah-reel-liel-thigh): An ethereal, and lifelong bond, enacted by ritual between angels and shifters.
Generally, warriors bond to dragons, disciples and farasees bond to pegasi, while nobility bond to ylisks, and so on.
On rare occasions, these groups inter-bond, causing seismic shifts across society and the world itself.
Presbitari (pres-bih-tah-ree): Professor.
Profèt (prophet): Prophet.
Spirit Harvester (spirit-harvester): Monstrous creature from the Belial Realm. They are tall, have seven wing pairs, seven eyes, long horns, winged ears, long, bone straight hare, and porcelain white skin while wearing tattered ivory robes.
Stareater (star-eater): Monstrous creature from the Belial Realm. They are tall with porcelain white skin. They have no face. Instead they are creatures whose face, torsos, and stomachs look like an open vortex into the galaxy. They feast on stars, hence why they look like one.
Tati (tah-tea): Aunt in the common language of angels.
Wingmate (wing-mate): Mate. Interchangeable with spouse.
Witchdòk (witch-dock): A witchdoctor.
Youngling (yung-ling): Young angel. Interchangeable with child, adolescent or teenager.
