Nine - Jack

Although it had been building for hours, I still couldn’t quite believe Flint’s lips were on mine. I had wanted it for so long, it didn’t feel real. The fact that he’d kissed me only made it more unbelievable.

As we parted, the music around us seemed to fade away. Everything faded away except his face before me, wearing a smile I’d never seen before.

“That was unexpected.” I couldn’t help but tease, tracing the line of his beard with my thumb.

“Did you like it, though? I mean, did I do okay? It’s my first time kissing a guy….”

I held his face in my hands. “It was perfect.”

I closed the distance between us this time, pressing my lips to his. The world faded away again. I was faintly aware of Sage near us, whooping with delight and dancing closely. I wondered if she was actually delighted or disappointed. She was going to have to share Flint now.

“That was so hot.” I found her biting her bottom lip cutely when we parted again, finally coming up for air.

“I told you we’d put on a show.”

Sliding my hands down his firm body, I interlaced my fingers with his, giving him a reassuring squeeze before offering my other hand to Sage.

“I hope the ‘show’ doesn’t end with kissing.” She was giggling, but there was an edge to her words—a command and a dare to push things further.

“Me too.” Flint looked strangely demure. This was all so new to him.

He’d taken so many steps out of his comfort zone today, but I would have to be extra gentle with the next ones. From experience, having sex with another man for the first time could be an intense experience. I hoped having Sage there with him would help and not add to his anxiety.

“Come on, let’s get out of here.” I moved toward the exit, dragging them both behind me.

I was keenly aware of all the eyes on us from the group. They were no doubt shaking their heads and saying something like ‘crazy Americans,’ but I didn’t care. I’d faced enough judgment for being bisexual that it was like water off a duck’s back at this point.

Sage could handle anything like that, too. I knew it. She was her own woman, knew exactly what she wanted, and wasn’t afraid to go after it. Inviting us to a secret lagoon before stripping off in front of two perfect strangers pretty much told me that.

But what of Flint? Was he shrinking into himself at all the accusing eyes? At everyone watching the happy throuple leave the dance floor, knowing exactly what we were about to do?

I glanced back at him. The smile that reached his eyes and lit up his entire face told me everything.

He didn’t care, either. Or, if he did, it wasn’t enough to stop him.

I was pretty sure nothing would stop him now.

Flint was always the type of guy who, once he’d made up his mind to do something, no force on Earth could dissuade him.

That was, until I burst out of the club to find that it was pouring with rain. Not just a shower, this thing was a monsoon.

We stood for a moment, hands held, watching the rain send revelers diving into nearby bars and clubs on the busy strip.

It was beautiful to see it dance against the neon lights and street lamps, but my first worry was that this would put a stop to any sexy fun times, the rain hitting us harder than the reality of what we were about to do.

“We’ve already been wet once today.” Flint shrugged next to me, giving my hand a reassuring squeeze.

“Once? Oh, you sweet boy, I’m still wet….” Flint’s eyes bugged at Sage’s overtly suggestive statement.

We exchanged a glance, and I shrugged, taking it all in my stride. I’d been with women like Sage before. They were once-in-a-lifetime storms that you danced with, and that changed you forever.

“Come on!” She yelled, dragging us behind her.

Cackling wildly as the rain soaked our clothing, Sage led us into the night and toward her hostel. What awaited us there was unknown, but I couldn’t wait to find out.
