Epilogue
Paisley
The comedown from that magical evening was bumpy. I went home in a daze, in a state of disbelief at what I’d done.
The things I’d seen. The things I’d done, and had done to me. The non-stop, overwhelming, out-of-this-world orgasms. I’d thrown caution to the wind, cast off my inhibitions, and experienced something amazing. But, more than that, I was proud of myself.
The old me never would have done such things. Even before I was married, I had a problem admitting what I wanted to myself and others. By denying that, I’d denied a part of myself. A part that I couldn’t share with just anyone, but an important part, nonetheless.
I’d gone looking for connection when I decided to attend the board game night, but I found so much more than that.
What I’d found were two people, two spirits as hungry for the same things as I was—deeper connections.
Intimate connections. The kind of things you would never admit to openly, even to your friends.
They were hungry for new experiences. Aaron was trying to find a part of himself he’d kept hidden as I had, and Kevin was desperate to prove something to both of us, his natural bravado and confidence driven by giving those around them what they needed.
His need to lead, to push, had led us all to where we’d gone, and for that, I would be forever grateful.
It was exactly what I’d needed, in so many ways. Connection. The thing missing from my life. As it turned out, stroking and fussing over Captain Snowball was no substitute for real, honest, authentic, raw, skin-to-skin contact.
That evening made me brave enough to try more things. To get out of my comfort zone, out of my house, my head, and sign up for more clubs. Dancing, yoga, you name it. If I ever had a passing interest in something, I was going to try it out.
I didn’t expect any of them to lead to meeting anyone like Aaron or Kevin, but if it happened, I wasn’t going to say no. For now, I enjoyed the time we had together, and I enjoyed teasing them with sultry looks at the board game club just as much.
No one there knew of our little ‘private game nights,’ and I kind of liked that we had our own secret naughty club dedicated to more than playing games.
In the moments afterward, in our shared bubble of afterglow, I mused whether what we had could become something more.
Was I ready for something so different? Was a throuple the answer to meeting my insatiable needs?
It appeared that it would take more than one man to keep me satisfied, and I’m pretty sure both of them would be on board with making what we had ‘semi-official.’ I’m just not sure it was what I was looking for at the moment.
After being in a relationship for so long, I wanted to explore. To see what was out there. To forge new horizons and discover things about myself that being in any kind of relationship might prevent.
More men? A group thing? Women? All of it felt worth the risk of trying, if it felt as good as what we did together did.
I was going to push my limits, find new limits, and then push them.
It’s funny how taking one little step can lead to so much more.
Aaron
I couldn’t stop smiling when I woke up the morning after. I’d done it. I’d finally explored my bisexual side. Not only that, I’d ended my dry streak in the most dramatic way possible.
I couldn’t believe my nerdy little hobby had led to something so hot, so out of control.
One reason I was drawn to games was their inherent need for rules, order, structure…
and then there was what happened between the three of us.
That had none of those things, just a desire to explore, to give and receive as much pleasure as humanly possible.
The clean up was as epic as the evening. We’d gone through so many condoms, spilled so many fluids that it was unreal. For a neat freak, it was surprisingly easy to let go of my need to have everything clean. It was worth the mess to experience something so epic it tilted my world on its axis.
It took a while to sort through these new feelings and accept them. Kevin was more than patient, more than gentle, and Paisley was the perfect cheerleader. Pushing me when I needed to be pushed, and supporting me when I needed to be supported.
The glances we steal at each other during board game meetups never fail to have us organizing another private game, only now there tends to be less buildup or fewer games played. As soon as we meet up, the clothes come off, and the good times ensue.
Mindy sometimes asks if I made a move on Paisley after we’ve played a game together.
When I tell her I haven’t, she asks if I’ve found someone yet.
I don’t know what to tell her. Are we an item?
Is this a relationship, or are we simply three adults having fun, living in the moment, and not worrying about labels, where this is going, or any of that usual drama I’d had in previous relationships?
Part of me craves some kind of answer. Whether we might make it official, or confess our dying love for one another, or something, but I’m not sure any of us were there yet.
It was hard to deny the connection between us, the chemistry that was there even after the smoke had cleared and our needs were satisfied.
But this was all so new to me. Having feelings for two people is different from what I’m used to.
I understand that love grows when it’s shared, but it still feels so alien, despite all the good times we share.
So I stay out of my head, and out of my own way, and try to do what I did on that fateful night. I live in the moment. I live between the ‘what ifs’ and the ‘it’ll never happen’ and seize the only thing that matters: the present.
It’s taking some getting used to, but I’m beginning to like it. If something happens, if one of us develops feelings, if one of us confesses those feelings? That’s future me’s problem. Current me is happy, happier than they’ve been in a long time, sharing something new, exciting, and fun.
Where it leads is just a roll of the dice.
Kevin
A threesome. After a board game meet-up, of all things. I couldn’t believe it myself, but couldn’t be more grateful that it happened.
I’d been planning to seduce Aaron the moment we met, but Paisley changed things in the best possible way. It wasn’t what I had in mind, but I was nothing if not adaptable. Enlisting Aaron’s help to finally satisfy Paisley proved it.
I’d made it my personal mission to satisfy her after her bold claims. I never would have made good on those same claims without Aaron, but like board games, some things are better with others.
A part of me—a small part of me—was disappointed I hadn’t managed the job alone. But another part of me was so grateful Aaron stepped in. It was hotter than anything I could have imagined.
Women like Paisley were rare. That kind of insatiable hunger for sex that took more than one man to match. The non-stop multiple orgasms. It was enough to make a man jealous.
Then there was Aaron. Sweet Aaron, so shy to start, but so strong to finish. Helping him discover a side of himself he’d kept hidden for so long would never cease to be a highlight of my sex life.
Watching him grow into that, into his full self over several fun times together… it was as horny as it was rewarding.
They were both incredible people to know, not just sexually.
Chill in the best possible way, fun, and charming.
If I was being truly honest, I could see myself falling for either one, or both of them, if that was what they wanted.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Keeping up what we were doing, sharing what we were sharing as long as possible sounded good, but everything that begins has an end.
The life I’d lived had taught me that lesson time and time again.
For now I’d enjoy what we had, and take any lessons I learned from it into the future. Aaron taught me that it pays to be brave. Paisley taught me it’s okay to ask for more, sometimes much more.
I’d also learned that love can be shared in ways I hadn’t considered, despite all my hedonism. In fact, sometimes it’s better to share; pleasure is exponential.
The final thing I’d learned is that love takes many forms. Whatever matches your true self, that is the love for you.
The End
