Chapter 36

CHAPTER

THIRTY-SIX

NOLA

Almost immediately, I’m fucked. In my frazzled state of mind, I’ve completely forgotten the right way to go.

Not to mention, I haven’t actually played in this thing in over eight years.

“Fuck!” I curse as soon as I’m met with a dead end.

Slapping a hand over my mouth, I look around with wide, frantic eyes. I need to keep quiet. I don’t want them to know where I am.

Are they giving me this time to get to the middle of the maze before they come in and find me themselves, or are they giving me a head start before they start hunting me?

I think I might be screwed because these guys know this maze like the back of their hands.

Jasper said not to stop for anything or anyone, meaning them.

Are they just in it for the fun of it? Or are they hunting me for sport or is there some kind of reward at the end? And if I win, what's my prize?

If I lose, what are they going to do to me?

Honestly, it doesn’t matter to me. Either way, I know my sick fucked up brain will love it. That I’ll get off on it as much as they will.

The best part about all of this, these little games and their hunting me for sport, is the fact that they’ve never done this with anyone else before. This is just something between us.

Because of that, I’ll let them do whatever messed-up plan they have for me without complaint.

Turning around, I head back the way I came, but this time I take a right instead of a left. I feel like I’ve been running forever, meeting dead end after dead end, when in reality it’s been no more than a minute.

I do know I’m heading deeper into the maze, so that's a plus.

Just as I round the corner, I smash into a large, hard body. Before I get a chance to scream or react, a hand wraps around my mouth, silencing me.

“I guess I didn’t clip your wings enough, Butterfly,” Sylas purrs in my ear. “I caught you anyway,” he sing-songs.

Nope. Not fucking happening. I’m not giving up. I don’t want to lose.

I just hope they meant what they said about getting there at whatever cost.

With determination, I reach down and pull off my shoe, gripping it in my hand tightly. I should have lost these things a while ago, but I’m glad I didn’t. It’s going to come in handy.

I love you, Sylas. Please, don’t hate me.

Taking the heel of my shoe, I ram it into his thigh.

“Fuck!” he roars, letting go of me. I don’t waste any time, taking off my other heel and sprinting around another corner. “Fuck me, Lola Girl!” Sylas calls out with a pained groan. “I think I just came in my pants a little.”

A smile curves on my lips as I huff out a chuckle. My crazy bastard. Fuck, I really do love that man.

I grip both shoes in my hands like they’re weapons.

With my blood pumping, lungs screaming, I keep going. How long has it been? How much time do I have left?

I round another corner and nearly crash into someone again.

Damn it! At this rate, I’m never going to make it to the center. Before he even has the chance to get his hands on me, I take one of my shoes and throw it at his face. “Not happening.”

It bounces off the side of his head. Ouch, that's gotta hurt. I wince as I duck around him, not wanting to give him the chance to catch me and keep running.

“What the fuck?” Wesley lets out an angry, pained growl. “Did you just throw a shoe at my fucking head?”

“Sorry!” I shout as I giggle, taking off deeper into the maze. I’m almost there, I can feel it.

The adrenaline has morphed into something euphoric, a thrill that courses through my body.

I’m having way too much fun with this, and I’m kind of enjoying making them hurt just a little bit.

As I turn the last corner, a rush of excitement hits me when I see the middle of the maze. Just as I’m about to take off towards the fountain, someone steps in front of me, forcing me to crash into him.

“Damn it!” I shout, stumbling backwards. “You have got to be fucking kidding me,” I snap, glaring up at the last of my men.

“Time is almost up, Lotus Flower,” Jasper says. His hands grab my shoulders in a punishing grip, holding me in place. “Ten seconds to go. You failed.”

“Not yet, I haven’t!” I’m so damn close. I’m not losing now, not when I still have time and the middle is right fucking there.

A smile curls my lips, matching the manic laugh that leaves me. Then I do something I might regret later.

Hey, he can’t get mad at me, he did say to fight back. Not my fault if they didn’t actually expect me to. Fair is fair. I’m following their rules, right?

Because he’s not expecting it, he doesn’t try to block me when I bring my knee up and ram it right into his junk.

“Fucking hell!” he wheezes, his grip on me loosening enough for me to slip out of his hold and rush to the middle of the maze where there’s a stone fountain.

I jump up onto the edge, grinning like an idiot as I look around. Jasper is bent over, chest heaving as he breathes heavily, hand covering his dick as he stares at me. I might not be able to see his face, but I know he’s glaring at me.

The other two come rushing in, stopping when they see Jasper. “She got you too, huh?” Sylas chuckles.

Jasper swings his head his way. “Fuck you,” he snarls.

“I won.” I raise my hands in the air. “I won, right?” I pause, looking between the three of them.

“You won, Lola Girl,” Sylas confirms. There’s a hint of pride in his voice that has my heart skipping a beat.

“You cheated,” Jasper growls.

I raise a brow. “I’m sorry, I cheated?” I asked.

“What happened to ‘do whatever it takes, don’t let anyone stop you’?

You three tried to stop me, and I did what I had to do in the moment.

Don’t be such a sore loser just because you underestimated me and my ability to follow directions.

Sorry, this might not have gone as you expected.

Just be happy I didn’t have my knife with me, because I might have used it.

No one is leaving here bloody, isn’t that what matters? ”

“You sure about that?” Sylas asks. “Pretty sure that heel broke skin,” he mutters, rubbing his leg.

“You’ll live.” I wave him off. “I’m sure you’ve had worse.”

“You could have hit my temple. Were you trying to kill me?” Wesley grumbles, rubbing the side of his head.

I huff out a sigh, crossing my arms. “You’re all being big babies.

What happened to the big, scary men from the cemetery?

” I ask, raising a brow. “Not my fault, you didn’t expect me to fight back.

Also, I really wanted to win.” I shrug my shoulders.

“I wouldn’t just run if someone was trying to attack me, I’d fight back.

You’re no different. Not when you told me to do exactly that. ”

“She has a point,” Sylas says.

“She didn’t fucking knee you hard enough in the balls to make them retreat into your body,” Jasper snaps. “I wanted kids,” he growls. “So much for that.”

Rolling my lips together, I try not to laugh. I really do. I don’t want to ruin the moment. This isn’t going how they thought it would, and I know they’re taking it hard.

But really, when are they going to stop underestimating me?

“It was fun,” I tell them. “And really hot. Seeing you three all dressed up in suits with your masks.” I wave my hand towards them. “Chasing me, hunting me.” I bite my lip. “Not going to lie, it’s pretty arousing.”

Sylas snorts out a laugh. “Is it?” he asks.

I nod my head, licking my lips.

Jasper stands up straight, moving to stand next to the other two.

“I do wanna know, though, what was your plan if I didn’t make it in time?”

“To use you,” Sylas answers, making my brows jump.

“And now that I’ve won.”

“To use you,” Wesley replies in a bored tone.

“Soooo, it didn’t matter what the outcome was? Either way, I was getting fucked? That’s nice to know.” I giggle.

“No one said you were getting fucked,” Jasper responds, and my smile falls.

“They just did,” I protest, waving my hand towards Sylas and Wesley.

“They said use, not fuck,” Jasper corrects. “And that's exactly what we intend to do.”

“What the hell do you mean?” I question. “I won fair and square. Now, you’re telling me I don’t even get an orgasm out of this? Someone better stick their dick inside me and make me cum before all this is over with, or I’m going to riot. I swear, I will!” I huff.

“Fucking hell.” Wesley shakes his head, but I hear the amusement in his tone.

“The thing is, you don’t make the rules, Lotus Flower. We do. And we have the power to change them whenever we want, however we want.”

Crossing my arms, I glare at him. “You just can’t stand that I won. That's called being a sore loser, Jasper. It’s not attractive."

His eyes narrow, something dark flashing through them. He doesn’t like it when I talk back, it pisses him off. Why does that make me want to do it more? Something about him looking all pissed off and scary has my pussy clenching.

“It’s like she’s asking to be punished,” Sylas chuckles.

“You say that like it’s a surprise,” Wesley responds.

“Alright then, big man.” I jump off the side of the water fountain, brushing my wild hair from my face. “What's gonna happen now?”

“You’re going to make it up to us,” Jasper says, crossing his arms over his chest.

“What do I have to make up for?” I ask, lifting a brow. “You losing?”

“No,” he snaps. “Stop being a fucking brat.”

“Have you met me?" I cock my head to the side. “The shy, stammering girl died a long time ago, babe. This is what was hiding underneath,” I say, waving a hand over my body.

Wesley chuckles this time.

“I’ve had enough of your mouth.” Jasper snaps, steps forward, grabbing me by the arm. “I have a better use for it.”

Now we're getting somewhere.

When he shoves me to my knees, I don’t fight, I don’t talk back. Why would I? Whatever he plans on doing with me, I’m here for it. Any and all of it.

I stare up at him through my lashes with anticipation, waiting to see what he does next.

My brows pull together when Wesley moves, stepping behind me. He grabs my arms and pulls them behind my back. “Be a good little whore, and maybe we’ll let you cum,” he chuckles in my ear as I feel him wrapping something around my wrists.
