Chapter Fifteen
The rain stopped, and the sun came out later that day, but the guys told her it would still take a few days to dry out. The electricity did come back on, much to their delight.
For the next few days, they continued to question her, but she wasn’t ready to tell them everything. It made her sick, even thinking about her stepfather. She just wasn’t prepared to talk about it out loud.
“Hey, babe, we need to go to town,” Malik told her as she was wiping the table down.
She froze. Go off the mountain? She felt her anxiety start to build. She just kept wiping and asked nonchalantly. “Why?”
Both men chuckled.
“Because you can’t go around in our boxers, babe,” Aiden said.
“How long will we be gone?”
“The road up here sucks. We have gravel trucks headed up tomorrow to help with the potholes, but until then, we’ll just have to go slow. So, I expect about thirty minutes down and back, and the rest depends on how much you want to get.
She shook her head at Malik. “I don’t need much at all.”
“Then we’ll get the basics for you,” Aiden said. “And then next time we go to town, we can get more.”
Malik cupped her cheek. “Stop worrying. No one is going to get to you. They have to go through us, and that ain't happening.”
She sighed, nodded, and rubbed her cheek against his palm.
“Let’s get going, guys,” Aiden yelled from the front door.
Malik pressed a quick kiss to her lips. “Everything’s going to be okay.”
She nodded again, but still felt like her world was about to fall apart.
Camila looked right and left as Malik drove them down. The road was horrible, but the scenery was breathtaking.
“It’s so pretty.”
“I think so, too,” Aiden said. “But I also think we take it for granted.”
“I wouldn’t.”
Both men smiled.
The town wasn’t large at all. It only had the feed store that she was able to get boots from and a few pairs of jeans.
She slipped into one and sighed. As much as she loved wearing the guys’ things, it was embarrassing to walk into a store with a pair of the guys’ sweats rolled up several times and pinned, and a flannel shirt.
She’d been surprised at how much damage had been done to her shirt and jeans.
They’d been shredded, partly from her desperate flight up the mountain and the guys pulling them off as fast as they could to get her warm.
Thankfully, she’d still had her shoes. The store owner was a nice man who let her change into her new clothes and boots to go shopping at other places.
“It was nice meeting you, ma'am.”
“You, too, Charlie,” she said and waved.
At the corner, Malik stopped them. “I’ve got a few things to do. Aiden is going to take you to the women’s shop, and then we’ll meet at the diner. Is that okay?”
Camila fought back the fear that tried to overwhelm her. She nodded and tried to smile.
He pressed a kiss to her lips. “I’ll see you soon. Stop worrying.”
Aiden curled an arm around her waist. “Let’s go.”
Aiden steered her into the only women’s shop within thirty miles. She was surprised to see it had a lot of fashionable things.
Aiden stood off to the side as she went through the racks and talked to the store owner.
She was a sweet older woman who lived in the town her whole life and wouldn’t have had it any other way.
Camila found her charming and could have talked to her for hours if she weren’t so afraid to be seen in town.
Camila walked up to the front.
“That’s not enough, baby.”
She glanced down. She’d only grabbed a comfortable dress, a few shirts, underwear, and socks.
“I don’t need or want anything else. I’ve got plenty. We can always come back another day.”
“I’d like it if you’d come back. I enjoyed talking to you,” the old woman said.
“I did, too,” Camila said and smiled.
After he paid, they were strolling down the sidewalk toward the café a few minutes later.
“Why are we going here?” she asked.
“Because it’s lunchtime, and they have the best burgers.”
As much as she wanted to say she needed to go home, she held back. She’d let them enjoy the food but keep an eye out for Edward or his men. They were bound to stand out in a town like this.
Camila caught sight of Malik walking with another large man down the sidewalk on the other side. The man was in jeans and a button-down shirt, and it looked like they’d known each other for a while. They stopped and shook hands before Malik walked across the street and into the café.
“Everything okay?” Aiden asked him once he sat down.
She could feel the tension in both men and wondered what was going on.
“Everything’s good. Derek gave me what I needed.”
Aiden nodded.
“Is there anything wrong?” she asked.
Malik held onto her hand on the table. “No, everything's good, baby.”
A waitress stopped by their table. “What will you folks have?”
Aiden snorted. “Betty, you already know what we want.”
She rolled her eyes. “Yeah, I do. How about the lady?”
The thought of eating made her want to gag, but she knew she had to do the best she could.
“What is your soup of the day?”
“Beef vegetable.”
“That sounds good.”
“What else, baby?”
Camila looked at Malik and shook her head. “I’m not very hungry.”
“But you can’t find a better burger within a hundred miles,” Aiden said.
“And I’ll have a taste of yours,” she said and smirked as the waitress laughed.
“I like her, guys.”
Malik grinned. “We do, too.”
After the waitress walked off, Camila patted Aiden’s arm. “Don’t worry, Aiden, I won't eat too much of your burger.”
Malik chuckled when Aiden grumbled good-naturedly.
Within an hour, they were headed back up the mountain, and every mile that passed, Camila relaxed a bit more and breathed a little easier.
When they got home, she was laughing at a story Aiden was telling.
They carried everything in and helped her put it away.
“I say we go on a hike. We can show her around the area.”
Camila brightened and grinned at Aiden before she turned to Malik.
“It’s a great idea. Let’s head out.”
By the time they got back from the hike, the sun was starting to set, and they were all hungry again.
Since the electricity was back on, they were able to make a full meal and enjoy it at the table.
When it was time for bed, the three moved to the bedroom to sleep.
The mattress was much better than lying on a hard floor.
She walked back into the bedroom from the master bath after taking a shower.
“You might as well take that thing off,” Aiden advised as he lay on his side with his head propped on his hand. “In fact, where the hell did you get that nightgown?”
“At the store you and I were in.”
He grunted. “I don’t care, take it off. We want you naked in this room, got it?”
She rolled her eyes, pulled the gown over her head, folded it, and set it on the dresser.
A scream tore from her throat when Aiden grabbed her arms and effortlessly pulled and rolled until she was underneath him.
“How the hell do you do that?” she asked.
He chuckled and took her lips.
“That’s a good way to keep her quiet,” Malik said as he slid under the blanket.
“You know what I want tonight?” Aiden asked after he lifted his head.
She stared up at him as he pinned her to the bed. “What?”
“I want your mouth wrapped around my cock, and at the same time, I want to watch Malik fuck you.”
“You certainly want a lot tonight,” she grumbled.
“Yeah, like you’re not going to enjoy every bit of it.”
She shrugged nonchalantly. “Maybe.” She had dreamed of having them in her mouth. She wanted to know the way they felt and tasted.
“Yeah, right,” Aiden said before his mouth slammed down on hers.
“Hey, guys, I need to be in her.”
Aiden and Camila broke apart, and then Malik helped her up onto her hands and knees.
“Stay just like that.”
She nodded at him and wiggled her ass in excitement.
She squealed when Malik’s hand came down on her ass several times. She turned to look at him. “What was that for?”
He smirked. “I like it when it’s a little pink.”
She snorted.
“Hey, Aiden, grab me a condom and lube, will you?”
She stiffened. “Lube?”
He chuckled. “Yeah. You’re going to love this.”
“So says you,” she griped and then yelped again when his hand smacked her ass a few times.
“Yes, baby. So says I. Now get ready to be fucked unconscious.”
