Chapter 16 #5

Tobias shifts below me, pulling his fingers from me, before positioning himself at my entrance, grabbing my hips, and slamming me down onto him, his hard, thick length slipping between my wet folds before sinking into me deeply.

A deep long moan rumbles from the core of my being.

This is it. The feeling I'd been chasing.

He fills all of me and my tight walls stretch around his huge girth.

Tobias grabs my hips as he guides my movements to the rhythm of his thrusts.

I roll my hips above him before he lets go, letting me set the pace.

My hands run up his chest, moving to his broad shoulders, as I move my hips faster and faster against him, loving the feeling of his hard length slipping in and out of me.

My stomach tightens, my heart rate quickens, my breathing becomes airy as I relish the feeling burning inside me, my eyes fluttering closed.

Every nerve, every cell in my body buzzes and comes alive with every movement, every touch.

I’m sitting on the edge teetering dangerously, almost high as waves of pleasure consume every part of me.

Theo’s hands run up over my hips and sides before slipping into my hair.

He grabs a handful pulling my head back and to the side, his lips crashing into mine, his tongue demanding.

Tobias grabs my hips and using his legs, he thrusts into me harder, his cock hitting against my cervix.

Theo’s harsh grip on my hair only excites me more, my fluids coating Tobias’s cock as it slips in and out.

Theo moves closer to me. I’m completely lost in the euphoria when he slides into me, his hips slamming into me with a hard slap.

Theo shoved me forward and Tobias seized my lips, sucking my bottom lip into his mouth, his tongue fighting for dominance when I kiss him back.

Theo’s grip tightening on the handful of my hair, slamming into me repeatedly, making me bounce on top of Tobias, which if I could read Tobais's grunts, he very much appreciates.

My head snaps back under his grip before Tobias shifted slightly, so he is sitting half upright, both their mouths on my neck on each side, their teeth teasing my flesh before they both sink their teeth into the soft skin on my neck, sending me flying over the edge, my walls clamping down on Tobias and he stills underneath me his seed spilling into me.

Theo’s movements slowed as he finds his own release.

My head spins, and my body is light. The burn from before is gone.

Apparently all I really needed to feel better was a really solid fucking.

I collapse on Tobias, cuddling against him.

The only noise in the room is our heavy breathing.

The lingering smell of sex entices my senses, but I’m not interested in another round, not after reaching the satisfaction I so desperately craved.

Theo slides out of me before brushing my hair from my face where I’m lying on Tobias’s chest.

“Better?” he asks, breathless.

“Much.” My voice is a soft murmur. This state of bliss is everything. I lay on top of Tobias, not able to move my limbs. My body is heavy, and tingling. Tobias's warm fingers run up my spine making me shiver.

I wonder if I will always feel this way with them. Will they eventually get bored with me? I don’t know if it is my own feelings or that of the bond making me doubt whether or not I’m good enough for them.

“What’s wrong?” asks Tobias.

I peer up at him, propping my chin on the center of his chest. “Nothing is wrong.” And it wasn't. A few stray thoughts weren’t enough to ruin this moment.

“I know something is wrong. I can feel your emotions shifting.” I stare at him quizzically. “The bond has kicked in already for me and Theo. We can feel everything from the moment we marked you.”

“Will I be able to feel both of you?” I will have to try and get better control of my emotions. I don’t want them to be able to read me like an open book.

“I’m not sure how long it will take. For shifters and vampires it's instant, but you’re human so the bond may take a bit to kick in. You will notice when it does, you'll be drawn to us, and be able to feel what we feel.”

Theo strolls back into the room and lays on the bed next to Tobias. His hand goes to my cheek, before resting his hand on Tobias’s chest. I like the way they are with each other. I don’t find it weird or strange; it’s normal and makes my heart swell with happiness.

“What are you talking about?”

“Just the mate bond.”

“Ah.” Theo searches my face for a second. I think it’s strange as I watch his eyes glaze over, like he is looking straight through me. “Don’t think like that.”

I try to make sense of what he says when I realizes. “You can read my thoughts.” The thought horrified me. It’s an invasion of privacy. One of the last senses of privacy I have in this new life of mine.

“Don’t be mad, he only wanted to know what was bothering you,” Tobias says, trailing his fingers down my spine again, trying to distract me.

“So, you can do it, too?” A bit of my old fire was kindling inside again. Had they manipulated me yet again?

“No, just Theo. Vampire trick. I can feel what you feel but can’t read your thoughts. Theo can do both.” That makes me feel a little better, but not by much.

I glance toward Theo. “Does it bother you that much?” he asks. He winces, studying me. Since he can read thoughts, he already has that answer.

“I like to keep my thoughts private.” I snuggle against Tobias, doing my best to not think.

“I will try not to do it.” I didn’t believe him but let it go. I wonder what else he has overheard in my mind.

Tobias rolls me to the side between them before standing and grabbing some shorts, Theo peers up as well toward the window and Tobias quickly runs down the stairs, leaving us.

“Where is he going?” I follow his gaze through the glass pane. I’m not sure what they hear or see but I only see the darkness of the night. No, not anymore, there is the crackle of tires on gravel. I tense.

“We have visitors, get dressed,” Tobias demands, the softness in him melting away once more.

“Who?” I ask. Who would stop by so late at night? My heart races.

“My parents.”

My heart skips a beat, nervousness kicking in.

It wasn’t so long ago that I ran away from these very people.

What a great fucking first impression that was.

They probably think I’m unhinged. Maybe I am.

I think about it; what normal person would be involved in their world?

One thing I know is that his parents don’t want me to be part of their world.

That much is clear from what I overheard the last time I met them.

I quickly grab the first clothes I lay eyes on.

A pair of tights and an oversized sweater.

Nerves are already kicking in, making me sweat.

What if I still smell like I had earlier?

Or worse, what if I smell like sex? I long to go take a shower.

I run my hands through my hair, trying to focus.

Theo disappears downstairs with Tobias to greet them.

It isn’t until I grab the banister that I notice how bad my hands are trembling.

My palms are sweaty, and stuck to the lacquered wood as I descend.

I’m halfway down, when angry voices explode from the living room.

A glass breaks, and I freeze on the steps.

I want to know what they are talking about to cause that kind of violence, and from what I gather, Theo is the one who had thrown a glass.

“I won’t give you any more time, the month is nearly up. If anyone finds out about her, we will have the counsel breathing down our neck, especially after the little stunt you pulled with Tom.”

There is no mistaking how angry Theo is. The deep guttural growl that emanates from him at the mention of Tom’s name makes my neck prickle with unease. Just because he'd been stopped from killing him, didn't mean the urge doesn't still live inside Theo.

“Don’t you start, boy. I warned you both to keep her here until she decided.

Do you think what you did went unnoticed?

For fuck’s sake. I can’t believe the pair of you.

I thought you had more brains than to take a weak human as a mate.

Not only is it forbidden, but no one will accept her as she is. ”

“Who we choose as our mate is nobody’s business but ours,” Tobias snarls. The asshole Tobias is out for my sake this time. The thought makes me smile as warmth flickers inside of me.

“Anyone but a human, Tobias. You’re giving our family a bad name. She is a fucking human. Either fix it or I will, and you won’t like the consequences if I have to.”

Something heavy smashes into the wall, and I can visualize wood being crushed and splintered.

I race down the stairs, worry for Theo and Tobias driving me forward.

Theo holds his father by the throat, pressing him against the fireplace, fangs bared.

The couch has been thrown across the room and upside down.

“Nobody fucking touches her. I don’t give a fuck if you’re family. Threaten her again, and I will fucking end you,” Theo snaps at his father, who glares at Theo, unmoved by his son’s anger.

“Please Theo, settle down. Let’s be rational here,” his mother says as she tries to calm him.

She places her hand on his arm. It’s clear they hadn’t noticed me witnessing this entire scene, and heard their dispute, but one thing I refuse to be seen as by this stubborn man is weak.

I square my shoulders and step farther into the room.

Theo lets go of his father as soon as he sees me and steps away from the man.

His father straightens his suit jacket, before turning and glaring at me.

Like seriously, who wears a suit this late at night, or is it early morning? Time has escaped me.
