Chapter Eighteen #2

I stroked in and out of her, hitting every spot inside, taking my time worshipping her body. Serenity gave herself to me completely as I kept kissing her lips, her nose, her forehead. I kept talking straight to her heart and soul while I took care of her pussy with my dick.

“Hmmm… Breathe, Mama… and keep your eyes on me. That’s it… I’m gonna keep it slow… Feels nice, huh? You’ve been craving this, haven’t you? You missed this dick yesterday, yeah?”

I slid beside her and spooned her, the need in me still wild and refusing to die. Lifting her leg, I lined myself up and pushed my dick back inside. The heat of her insides made my whole body jerk and I started to fuck her harder, rougher, my hips slamming into her ass.

Slap… slap… slap.

Skin meeting skin, I pounded into her, the sound echoing in the room. I was gone, lost in the feel of her, addicted and crazed.

“You feel that? My dick moving inside you… Touching every inch in this tight pussy. I know you do. Focus on my voice and breathe deeper when I thrust inside you. Breathe with me. Don’t try to control it, baby. Just let it happen. This pussy wants me to go deeper? Harder? Like this?”

“Jesus Christ… Baby… I’m not sure I can take it any longer. I… Oh my God.”

Slap, thrust, slap, thrust—deep, so deep and so fucking good. I was fucking feral as I kept stroking her pussy.

“Don’t fight it… I’m right here and I’m not stopping.. I’m gonna take care of it. Let me show you what it means to be wanted. Let me feel you fall apart for me, Serenity.”

And I kept going, chasing her pleasure, wanting her to feel everything. Her pussy got wetter the more I pumped into her. That shit was even better with all her wetness when she released her juices. I wanted it all.

“I’m coming, Konflict. I—I can’t take it anymore.”

“Yessss… Make a mess for me, baby… I know you can. Now hold yourself up and let it out. Just like that. Let it out, baby… Yeah, that’s my baby… You’re so fucking beautiful and mine.”

She came on my dick, body shaking, while I kept fucking her through her orgasm.

“You feel that? Of course you do. That’s perfect.

Just keep breathing… Just like that. Don’t hold it…

let it happen… Let go baby girl… You’re doing so good Mama.

You know I’m proud of you right? You’re taking this dick so well.

I love it when you come for me… Just. Like. That. Keep coming on this dick Mama…”

I kept praising her, encouraging her to give me everything. I wanted all of her to surrender, to come undone for me. Then I’ll rebuild all her broken pieces when I’m done with her.

“I want to ride you, Konflict,” she asked. “I want to see your eyes when I make you come.”

She pushed me, making me roll onto my back.

She climbed on top, but instead of riding my dick, she slid down between my legs.

Her hand wrapped around my dick, stroking me hard.

Her tongue flicked over the tip, tasting her own wetness mixed with my precum.

Then she opened her mouth wide and swallowed me, taking my whole length deep into her throat.

“Jesus fucking Christ!” I groaned, feeling the heat of her mouth close around my hard length.

She stroked me and tongued me at the same time, owning my dick with every move.

My balance slipped then when she made sure I was right at the edge, she let go of my dick, frustrating the hell out of me, before lining me up with her pussy and sinking down on me.

That’s when she managed to snatch my soul.

She didn’t give me a second to breathe, riding me fast, no mercy, dragging every sound of pleasure out of my mouth.

“Fuck!! Serenity… Serenity. Slow down, baby… I’m gonna cum too fast… fuck.”

I was fighting for my life to keep it together. I didn’t want this to end. I didn’t want to stop. I wanted to stay inside her forever. I wanted to die inside her and never come back but she had other plans for me.

One hand dragged over my chest while she kept riding me wildly, making me lose every bit of control.

Then with her other hand, she did something I never saw coming.

.. she ripped off her mask and let me see all of her.

I watched her, taking in every detail—her eyes, her face, those lips, the way her brows pulled tight when I was buried deep, that little frown when she rode me hard. Fuck, I couldn’t resist her.

“Oh fuck… I’m—” I didn’t even finish the words, caught off guard.

My hands locked on her waist, holding her down while I drove as deep as I could, coming hard inside her. I couldn’t hold back after she caught me off guard.

“You… You took off your mask,” I said, still spilling inside her pussy.

“Yeah…” she moaned. “I wanted you to see me, at least once.”

My heart pounded so hard it hurt. I finished, hips dropping to the mattress, but my hands stayed on her waist. My fingers dug deep into her flesh, not ready to let her go.

I wanted to take my mask off too, something I couldn’t undo, but I wasn’t ready.

I knew the second I did, this thing we’d had for the last month would be over.

“You’re so beautiful, Serenity. I just want you to remember I’m crazy about you. No matter what happens. And… I’m sorry,” I said.

Taking a deep breath, I finally lifted my hand to my face, ready to take off my mask. Just as I was about to pull it away, Serenity stopped me.

“No.”

I froze, staring at her, eyes questioning.

“I thought… Don’t you want me to take off my mask too? Now that I’ve seen your face?”

“No…” she answered softly.

Then she leaned down and kissed me—a long, deep, and feverish kiss, so intense I felt it shoot through me.

“Please, don’t take off your mask. If you do, the whole illusion I’ve built about Konflict will fall apart. I’m sorry for using you to give myself a little time with my husband. But please, let me have this. Let me keep dreaming until the very last second.”

Relief hit so hard it shook me back to life. I wasn’t ready to lose her—not tonight. I just needed to hold on to the last few minutes we had before I ruined it all.

I crashed my lips to hers and kissed my wife fiercely, hungrily, hearts pounding hard enough to drown out everything else. We only broke apart when breathing became impossible.

Pulling Serenity down, her head pressed to my chest, our bodies slick with sweat. My dick was going soft inside her as we stayed there in silence. Our hearts were racing, breath steadying together, sharing everything that words couldn’t touch. I was fucking in love with her.

I didn’t know how much time passed, but Serenity was the brave one who finally broke the moment.

“You have to go, Knox. We don’t have much time left.”

When she called me Knox, I knew our bubble had burst and it was time to leave.

She slipped off my body and got out of bed. I got up too, then, we walked to the bathroom to shower together.

I washed every inch of her gently, and she did the same for me. We didn’t speak in the shower; our kisses and our eyes did all the talking, saying what words couldn’t.

Dressed again, I held her hand tight, looking into her eyes.

When I married this woman, all that rage over what her father did to my mother made me forget just how long I’d been in love with her.

This last month, she reminded me every damn night what loving her feels like.

Holding her close, that love kept growing until it was bigger than the anger, bigger than the past. Now I was ready to fight for her, for us, for our marriage.

Knocks came at the door and Valery’s voice rang out from the other side.

“Serenity? We have to go now.”

Serenity lifted her gaze to mine. Her gentle hands cupped my face, tears shining in her eyes as she tried to hold them back.

“You gave me something incredible, Knox. I don’t even know how to thank you for all these nights. You gave me something I never thought I’d have, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful. Now, please, leave with Valery and keep yourself safe. Keep living for me, please.”

She spoke with tears streaming down her face and my heart tore open in my chest.

“Come with me,” I dared to say. I swear I didn’t even know why I made that offer, knowing it just made everything worse. “Come with me, Serenity. We can run away together, far from here.”

She shook her head, refusing.

“No. I don’t want to run. I have no reason to run.”

“Why?” I pressed. “Why are you giving up? Why don’t you fight for your life? For you… for us?”

She smiled softly, sliding her hand under my shirt and placing her palm right over my heart, on the Venus tattoo.

“Because you belong to someone else and… I wish I could have belonged to just one person. I don’t want to fight and I have no reason to run.

If I had a real reason, even just one, I’d give myself a chance to live.

But I’m tired, and I just want to let go.

Please don’t try to change my mind. Stay alive and go back to the one you really love, Knox, please. ”

This time, she sealed her words with a kiss, then pulled away from me and locked herself in the bathroom so she wouldn’t have to watch me leave.

Frustration chewed me up inside, but this was all on me. Tomorrow I’d end the lies. I’d tell her everything, fight to fix the heart I’d broken so badly she’d stopped wanting to live. I’d been a monster, and I knew it. Now I wouldn’t stop until I gave her a reason to want life and me again.

After a minute of staring the door down, I finally left and got in the car where Valery was waiting for me.

She drove through the night, always checking the rearview, sizing me up even though I’m sure she already knew the truth.

We turned down a dark road and a car up ahead flashed its headlights.

That’s when I pulled off my mask and showed Valery exactly who I was.

“Pull over, Valery,” I said calmly.

My tone left no room for argument and she did as I said. Our car stopped just as the one with Krash and Kalash inside stopped alongside us.

Valery and I got out.

“Why did you trick her all those nights?” she demanded, her face closed off.

“Because I do what I want, Valery. She’s my wife. I don’t owe you an explanation.”

She gave me a look with pure hate in her eyes.

“You really think she’ll forgive you when she finds out you lied? You fucked her every night while making her believe you never would. You’re sick, Konflict.”

“Maybe. But I would’ve never let another man touch her. She’s mine.”

“Now what? You don’t want to kill her anymore? Or are you just going to fuck her and pretend it never happened so you can put a bullet in her head? I won’t let you hurt her. I’ll tell her everything.”

I moved closer, my glare threatening. Krash got out of the other car right away and stepped between us, protecting his girl.

“Easy, man. Don’t be stupid.”

“Krash, take your girl far from the Korven Estate. Fuck her all night and keep her through morning too. I want no contact with my wife until I tell her myself everything.” Then I stared at Valery, coldly. “If you say a single word to Serenity, Krash won’t be able to protect you from my anger.”

I walked to the other car and told Kalash to take me back to my villa.

The night was brutally short. I didn’t sleep at all until morning.

As soon as the first ray of sunlight appeared, I was up, showered, and out the door, heading straight for the Korven Estate.

She said she’d be waiting in the living room, ready to give me her life.

What she didn’t know was that I was ready to lay down mine.

I’d do whatever it took for her forgiveness.

I received a call from Dr. Kalvin as I neared the house.

“Konflict, I wanted to share the results from the tests I did on Serenity after her drowning.” Dr. Kalvin said as soon as I picked up.

“Alright. Is everything okay? Any complications?”

“No, no complications. She’s perfectly healthy. The drowning didn’t do any damage, probably because she wasn’t under too long. But, the toxicology tests showed traces of substances that could have caused her collapse.”

I froze and stopped walking.

“She told me she felt dizzy, so I had her blood analyzed. The results just came in this morning—I think she was poisoned. Falling into the pool and the medicine to clear her lungs somehow counteracted the poison, but those substances had no business in her system. Someone must’ve slipped something into her drink. ”

His words made my blood ice over. I’d already wondered how she could fall into the pool so suddenly. Hearing Dr. Kalvin confirm it only sharpened my suspicions.

“Marquette,” I muttered, realizing that old bastard might’ve tried to get rid of my wife quietly.

He’d been saying I held too much territory lately, too much power, with both Korven and Veylor under me. And he kept pushing for a sixth council member, even suggesting the Sawyer’s after they’d already been denied. Fuck, if he tried to kill my wife, I’d make him wish he’d never been born.

“Thank you, Dr. Kalvin. I’ll look into it.”

“There’s more, Konflict.” He stopped me as I went to hang up.

What he said next made me rush to the Korven estate at top speed. I had to see Serenity. I had to see my wife.

But when I reached the living room, she wasn’t there. She wasn’t anywhere she’d told me she’d be.

A maid came over and handed me an envelope. Inside were the divorce papers signed by Serenity, her wedding ring, and a letter she’d left for me. My hands shook as I ripped it open, heart pounding.

Please, let me go. I just found out I have a reason to live. So please… Just this once… Let me leave, Konflict.

My heart shattered reading her desperate words. Panic slammed through my chest as I grabbed my phone and called Krash—there wasn’t a single second to lose.

“Find my wife—now!” I ordered.
