Chapter 24 #2
Leaning down, I drag my tongue through her warmth. The sweet tang of her arousal sets off electric sparks in my brain. I drink from her until she’s a squirming mess.
“Put it inside me,” she begs. “It’s so filthy and weird. I need it.”
“With pleasure,” I say.
I lean back and grab the toothbrush holder. She doesn’t even give me time to see which end is best as she whines and rocks her hips, pleading for release. I spit on her pussy, then drag the purple container through the mess. Once it’s good and wet, I ease it into her.
Her toes curl, and she leans back on her elbows. “Fuck, that feels so good. Harder, King.”
I slip my free hand beneath her shirt and pinch her hardened nipple as I drive the makeshift dildo into her with more force.
Her head bumps against a cupboard with every thrust, creating a gentle tapping rhythm.
The breath rasping out of her matches the beat, and we’re one collective unit working toward a shared goal.
She’s so close, but I want to make her feel as good as she made me feel. I pull my hand from beneath her shirt and drop my thumb to her swollen clit. Applying pressure, I roll the soft pad over that pleasure button until her toes curl.
Then I get an idea. It always feels incredible when she twists her mouth around my cock when she sucks me, so maybe that same motion might feel good inside her. My wrist turns with each thrust of my arm, and I’m rewarded with a low moan.
“Oh, good girl,” I whisper. “Does that feel nice?”
She bites her lip as she looks into my eyes and nods. She’s struggling to stop herself from crying out. Bennett said Chef was still close by, after all. I’m past the point of caring, though. Even if Chef walked in right now, he couldn’t stop me from unraveling her until she’s completely undone.
I twist my wrist harder, faster. A cramp locks my muscles in a tight hold, but I grit my teeth and push through. She’s so close. I can see the way the silicon buckles with each contraction of her perfect little cunt.
“That’s it, my beauty. Come for me. Make a mess no amount of Colgate can endure.”
Josie’s head tips back, and she screams as the orgasm sends shards of pleasure throughout her body. Her stomach sucks in with each breath, and she grips the counter and closes her eyes.
“Fuck, I’m coming!” she wails, and I’m well aware. Most of Louisiana is probably well aware at this rate.
I still don’t stop. The threat of Chef looms heavy overhead, but I keep pumping this little purple tube in and out of her until her thighs stop shaking.
“Fuck,” she whispers as she finally comes down. “That was intense. We need to use other people’s personal items more often.”
As the high of getting her off fades, I realize what a mess we’re in. The timer has less than five minutes remaining, and we still need to get rid of that casserole before Chef returns. That’s if he isn’t already on his way after hearing her make four out of five dentists very proud.
“Stay right there,” I tell her a I scour the kitchen for an idea.
“I’m not going anywhere,” she says. “Not until you finish licking me clean.”
I’ll be right with her to do exactly that, but first, the casserole.
I spy a cucumber lying on the counter. That will do nicely. I grab it and drive it into the dish, leaving behind a cock-sized depression.
“I’ll just tell him we caught Bennett fucking it,” I say. “He’ll buy that.”
“No,” Josie says.
I rinse the goop from the vegetable and toss it back onto the counter. “Well, if you have a better idea, I’d love to hear it.”
“No,” she says again. “King . . . no.”
This last no comes out as more of a distressed plea, so I turn to see what all the fuss is about. She holds half the toothbrush holder in her hand. The other end must have come loose with all the twisting. That isn’t the concerning part, though.
The concerning part is the fact that this container did not hold a toothbrush.
“What the fuck even is this shit?”
Her voice quivers as she asks this question, and I don’t think she wants to know the answer. Not truly. Because that is either a very odd dust collection, or Chef was keeping someone’s cremains in his kitchen.
Probably for seasoning. Jesus wept.
Even worse than that, some of it fell out of the bigger part of the tube and trickled down her thighs. She keeps herself at a precarious angle to hold the rest in as she stares at her worst nightmare.
May God have mercy on our souls.
She hurries to screw the lower section back in place before more of the ashes can slip out. Then she eases the tube from her pussy with a silent, disgusted wail.
We don’t have time to dwell on the dust between her legs, though, because footsteps clomp closer outside. She looks at the toothbrush-holder-turned-urn in her hand, and I shake my head, already knowing what she plans to do.
It doesn’t stop her.
She shoves the entire thing into Mother Nature’s pocket, hops off the counter, and pops her legs into her shorts before the door flies open.
I fully expect to see Chef’s angry face, but it’s only Bennett. He stops when he sees us standing around like a couple of guilty cons who were too bloody stupid to leave the scene of the bank heist.
“What are you two still doing here?” he says.
Josie motions to the casserole. “We had to sabotage it. I hope you don’t mind if we tell Chef Maurice that you fucked it.”
Bennett shrugs and glances around the bus. “After the pineapple and the turkey leg, what’s a little casserole fucking? Hey, have you guys seen a purple toothbrush holder?”
My stomach sinks.
“I put some of my mom’s ashes in it.” He lifts a throw pillow from the tatty sofa, then tosses it back when he doesn’t find what he’s looking for.
Because it’s currently inside Josie. “I figured it would be easier to tote around than the big urn, but now I’ve fucking lost her.
All those years she kept up with my unruly ass in the supermarket, and I can’t go one day without misplacing her. Well, part of her.”
His words are a dagger to my black heart.
“She’ll turn up,” I say. I place a hand on his shoulder, and he finally stops his frantic searching. “You head back to your RV, and if we find her, we’ll bring her to you. It’s the least I can do if you’re willing to take the blame for the casserole.”
Bennett releases a sigh of relief, and his shoulders relax. “Thanks. I’m usually not this emotional, but she was all I had, you know?”
I do know. And it’s all my fault.
“She’s not all you have now, though,” Josie says. “You have King and Cat and your siblings. And you can’t forget Jim.”
“Not even if you want to,” Bennett says.
I squeeze his shoulder. “Right, so buck up, lad. All isn’t lost. Just part of her, perhaps.”
I can almost feel Josie wincing behind me at the truth of my words.
“You guys are right, and don’t ever tell anyone I said that.” Bennett finally smiles. He turns to leave, then stops in the doorway. “Hey, King?”
I raise my eyebrows.
“You still down to teach me how to do that thing?” He looks at Josie.
I smile at him. “Of course, but you needn’t be ashamed. You didn’t have a man around to teach you how to eviscerate cleanly. I’m happy to step in, and Josie will keep it between the three of us.”
Josie makes a zipper motion over her lips. “Count your blessings, Bennett. My father was in my life, and all he taught me how to do was dodge a flying beer bottle.”
“Yeah, well, if my sperm donor knows what’s good for him, he’ll read all those letters Jim keeps leaving behind, then take a flying leap off the nearest ledge.
” Bennett spits out the door. “Shit, Chef’s coming.
You guys might want to pretend to chase me out of here if you really want to make it believable. ”
Josie squirms, likely struggling to cope with the fact that she’s become a literal motherfucker. Still, she opens her mouth and yells, “Bennett, not the casserole! Why?”
He gives us a salute and races from the bus, pretending to fasten his pants as he goes. I run after him and stop at the threshold. I’m only glad he can’t see my face as he races away. If he could, he’d see the hurt. The shame.
I can’t even lock the glaring ache behind a mask. The feelings are too big.
Josie’s warmth presses in behind me, and I close my eyes. I haven’t even considered what she’ll think of me once she learns I’m the deadbeat father. She may take up a weapon and join them. I wouldn’t blame her. Or them.
“We’d better get back to our RV,” she whispers as she peers around me. “He looks pissed, and I don’t know how much longer I can stop myself from screaming.”
I sigh and wrap my arm around her. The mess I’ve created is far worse than the one between her legs, and I’ve no clue how to begin cleaning it up. After Arizona, I may need to come clean with Josie. At the end of this, she may be all I have left.
