Chapter Fifty-Five
THEO STRITCH
McLean, Virginia
T heo Stritch sat behind his imposing desk and read the update from the new Primary Investigator at Milton Abernathy’s lab.
They had finally sorted the absent-minded professor’s notes and believed they had the blueprint for a working prototype.
The Primary Investigator believed Abernathy had a functioning drone already built, but no one could find it.
It didn’t matter. Once he had access to the final schematics, Theo was set.
A buzzing from the desk drawer pulled Theo’s attention. He withdrew the burner phone and read the text.
Priest: Found them
Theo smiled. All the pieces were falling into place.
TS: Eliminate him. Bring her to me. She’s had too much time to gather information. I’ll need a word with her.
Priest: Understood
Theo texted the location of the remote black site and returned the phone to the drawer. Finally, Stella Keen would no longer be a thorn in his side.
