SPENCER

Day Six

After a morning spent in the final round of presentations (and basically watching the team ownership beg) geared to convincing any donor who wasn’t yet convinced to donate to the children’s hospital project, and an afternoon spent facilitating a beach volleyball tournament for the guests, I was happy to see the day of team commitments come to an end.

I was tired from running in sand and cooking in the rays of the Caribbean sun.

But I had to admit that I was looking forward to spending the evening with my girl.

I was already standing in the lobby when Soleil stepped off the elevator.

She looked gorgeous in the dress I’d first seen her in.

It was a short, soft, sage-green number that hit her right above the knee and gave peeks at those thick, chocolate thighs.

Soleil was thick, but she had a trim waist, and the dress accentuated that.

The top of the dress emphasized her breasts, and Soleil had pretty-ass breasts. I loved the dress on her.

“What’s up?” I held out my hand, and she took it. I bent and gave her a soft kiss on her mouth.

“Hey.”

“You ready?”

“Ready.”

She turned toward the doors that led to the front of the resort. I gently held her back. “This way, baby.”

“Oh,” she said, as I guided us to the doors that led to the beach. “Are the food trucks back?”

I laughed aloud. “Nah, little hungry girl, the food trucks aren’t back.

” We walked down the beach in the opposite direction from where the bonfire had taken place until it came into view.

I knew the second she spotted it because her breath gave a little hitch.

Not a loud, noticeable gasp or anything like that—just a small, quiet hitch.

“What is that? Is it for us?” She slowed to the point where I felt like I was dragging her.

I slowed, too. “It’s for us,” I confirmed.

I took it in for the first time with the sinking sun as the backdrop.

Of course, once everything was set up, the concierge brought me out to see the final product.

But that late afternoon view with the sun still working at full capacity was one thing.

Now, the mood was different. Now it was romantic.

The gauzy, white tablecloth that blew in the ocean breeze.

The big burst of pink in the middle of the table coming from the Bougainvillea flowers.

Taper candles stood proudly with their flames dancing and flickering.

There were wine glasses, and the entire setup was bordered by tiki torches.

There was a butler standing beside the table. His white uniform was pristine down to the Arctic-white tea towel hanging from his forearm.

“Good evening, Miss.” He bowed his head to Soleil as he pulled out her chair. “Good evening, sir.”

“Good evening,” I said.

“Hello.” She slid into her seat. When she was settled, her glossy eyes caught mine. “Nobody has ever created a moment like this for me before. I’ll remember this forever.”

“I’m glad you like it.”

“I love it. It’s more than I ever would’ve imagined.”

“May I serve?” the butler asked.

I glanced over at Soleil.

She nodded. “I’m starving.”

The butler poured sparkling wine into both of our wine glasses, then filled our water glasses.

Once that was done, he placed a hand on each of our cloches.

Simultaneously, he raised the sterling-silver-domed lids and revealed our dinner for the night—tacos, black beans and rice, and street corn.

No sooner than he lifted the cloches did the string quartet of violin players I hired walk up to the table.

Softly, they began to play a very slowed-down version of Madonna’s “La Isla Bonita.”

“If you want to marry me, you should just say that,” she teased.

“I just wanted to commemorate the first day we met. How damn fine you looked . . . the food we ate. I wanted to do it without the bonfire and the crowd. And the way that it ended with you walking away because Wilcox was talking shit. I wanted a do-over.”

“I appreciate the effort. And just so you know, even though Preston Wilcox got under my skin that day, . . . I still had a good time with you.”

I winked at her, then held out my hands. “Let’s pray so we can eat.”

I blessed the food, and we ate in silence with just the sounds of the ocean waves crashing and the quartet playing Teena Marie’s “Portuguese Love” for a little while.

“This is just so, . . . I don’t know. Surreal. Like, I’m really on a beach in Iredia, having dinner with a Coyotes player on the shore of the ocean.” She shook her head. “If somebody had predicted this a few weeks ago, I would’ve thought they were insane.”

“It’s crazy as hell.” I exhaled roughly. “I ain’t even wanna come here, Sun. Tried my hardest to get out of this trip, only to come and find you. What type of shit is that?”

She leaned across the table toward me. I leaned toward her to close the distance between us. She looked like she was about to speak, but she sat back.

“Come on, mama. Say what you were gonna say.”

“I don’t wanna scare you.” She folded her arms across her chest.

I shook my head. “I don’t scare easy. Speak ya mind.”

She leaned forward again, looking me in the eyes. “It’s been six days.” She held up six fingers. “Six days, and I like you. I really like you.”

“I really like you, too,” I told her.

Later that night in my suite, I tried to show her just how much I liked her. “I don’t get the effect that you have on me, Sun. Six days I’ve been knowing you, and you got my head fucked up.” I sucked her right nipple into my mouth and felt my dick start to grow.

“Are you fallin’ in love with me, Spence?” Her words were playful, teasing, and mocking.

“Something’s happening here, and I don’t really know what it is.

” I thrust myself inside of her. Sinking into Soleil was like no feeling I’d ever experienced before.

Her pussy was wetter, tighter, warmer, and gushier than any pussy I could ever remember sliding into.

The thing that blew my mind—the thing that fucked me up and made me get hard anytime I thought about her—was that her pussy felt like home.

When I was buried deep inside her, giving her strokes, whether they were nice and easy or punishing and brutal, her pussy always treated me like it was welcoming me back.

I covered her mouth with mine and kissed her deeply while she wrapped her legs around my back and dragged her fingernails against my shoulder blades.

“I’m so happy I met you,” she moaned breathily.

“Me too, baby,” I gritted out the words from behind clenched teeth.

Her hums and whimpers sounded beautiful in my ears.

Her head was thrown back, giving me access to every inch of her sweet neck.

I did my best impression of a vampire, biting the shit out of her neck while pumping into her with measured strokes.

I moved from her neck to her breasts. I sucked her nipples and cupped handfuls of her ass.

“Right there, baby. Please, right there,” she begged.

I kept my pumps steady until she came apart in my embrace, then I filled the condom, subconsciously wishing that I could keep her long after our time on Iredia ended.
