CHAPTER 11
SKINNY
‘God, I love this woman,’ I thought as I powered up into her, biting my lip as a low groan left me as she clenched her dripping wet pussy around my rock-hard cock.
I’d been teasing us both for hours. There was nothing like delayed gratification.
I’d been hard ever since I’d made her come before we left the clinic.
She’d been tired, so I let her sleep, but there was no stopping me when she made it clear what she wanted.
I’d confined her hands with her T-shirt because I knew if she touched me, I’d be fucking her into the mattress before I’d had the chance to tease her. And I loved to tease her. Josie had always been responsive, but I’d noticed that she was far more so now. And I fucking loved every minute.
The way she came undone for me always had me hard as a rock and wanting to keep teasing her.
I never could, though, because while I loved teasing her, I loved the feel of her pussy constricting my cock even more as we both came.
There was no other feeling like it in the world except maybe when we held each other after coming down from our orgasms. When she was soft and sated, lying in my arms, it always made me feel like I wanted to beat my chest and announce to the world that I’d rocked my woman’s world.
And Jesus, every time she told me she loved me, I had no name for the feeling that rocked through me other than it seemed to fill up all the empty cracks and crevices in my heart until I felt fit to burst.
Knowing we had to get going, I scoop Josie up and take her laughing to our bathroom.
It had taken me over a year when we first got together to get her to relax about me carrying her.
For some reason, she thought she was too heavy, but she wasn’t.
Yes, she had an abundance of curves, but she was in no means fat.
To me, she was perfect in every way and form.
I love her from the depths of my soul, and to this day, I don’t know what I’d done to deserve her.
But I give thanks every day that she is in my life.
Putting Josie down when we reach the bathroom, I reach in and start the shower. When it has heated, only then do I let her get into the shower. Picking up the bottle of shower gel she likes, I squirt some on my hands and wash my woman.
As I trace my hands over my wife’s lush curves, I have to remind myself that we have to be at the hotel in the next half hour. “Stop it,” Josie laughs, pushing my hands away from her. “We don’t have time, Mr. Adams. You wash you, and I’ll finish washing me,” she instructs me.
“Fine,” I grumble, even knowing she’s right. Josie rinses the soap off her body while I wash mine. I wince a little as my hand runs over my shoulder, thinking, ‘What the hell?’
I turn, glance in the mirror above the sink, and then smirk proudly at my wife’s teeth marks on my shoulder.
“What are you looking at?” Josie asks, pushing past me and grabbing a towel off the rail and wrapping it around her.
Pointing at my shoulder, I say, “I’m looking at the mating mark you gave me.”
Josie snorts with laughter. “Mating mark? What are you like? I was returning the favour for the bruises on my hips.”
“What bruises?” I demand, turning her around so I can see what she’s talking about. I’d never want to hurt her.
“Relax,” Josie says, laughing up at me, “I love the feeling of having your hands on me hours after we’ve made love.”
“I’d never want to hurt you,” I tell her.
Her gaze softens, and she rises to her toes, pressing a soft kiss to the corner of my mouth. “I know, honey. And you never have,” she assures me, then pats me on the chest. “Now hurry up, I’m starving.”
Turning away, she leaves the bathroom. I hurry through the rest of my shower before switching it off and following my wife out of the bathroom.
We’re running a little late, and everyone has already occupied the family table by the time we make it there, kids included.
“Late, Unca Skinny,” Alana frowns at us before shovelling a mouthful of what looks like macaroni cheese into her mouth.
“I know, baby girl, I’m sorry. Aunt Josie had a nap, and I was late waking her up,” I tell her, kissing the top of her head as we walk past them to our seat.
“A nap, huh? I bet that’s why you’re late,” Cairo smirks, and the rest of the adults chuckle. I grin and then grin wider when Josie slaps Cairo on the back of the head, telling him, “Don’t be a rude jackass. I’m pregnant, and I was tired.”
Cairo looks contrite while rubbing the back of his head, “Sorry, Josie, I forgot you were growing giant spawn.”
“That’s okay,” Josie grins and winks at him as she sits down. “That nap wasn’t why we’re late.”
“For fuck’s sake, and you still slapped me,” Cairo grumbles good-naturedly.
“Don’t worry, Cairo, it can be for Ron. You’re bound to run your mouth again,” Rochelle teases from across the table.
Cairo looks confused. “Whose Ron?”
“Later’on,” Rochelle sniggers, leaning up against Bond, whose shoulders are shaking as he silently laughs. The look on Cairo’s face is priceless.
“I think I preferred it when you were shy and quiet,” he grumbles, but we all know he doesn’t mean it. We love that Rochelle is comfortable enough around us to tease.
We’re a loud table, and I often wonder why Noni’s guests never get annoyed, but they seem to like that a family runs the hotel and town.
Over the past two years, many guests have returned because they said they felt like family, not just visitors, especially when dining with Noni, Bull, Rogue, and Julia in the dining room, who took it in turns to mingle with them.
We were finishing up our pudding, and I knew the kids would need to go to bed, so if we wanted to let everyone know, we had to do it now.
Taking Josie’s hand, I tug her up next to me and hand my phone over to Bond. I’d made a call earlier to Reaper. While he may no longer be my President, I have great respect for him, and he is still family. Even with the distance and what we have to share, I want to share it all with them.
“Josie and I have something to tell you,” I let the table know. Bull and Noni sit up straighter, and I can already see the worry in Bull’s eyes.
“Is it the baby? Are you okay?” His eyes dart anxiously towards Josie.
“I’m fine, Bull. Jett checked me over and gave me a clean bill of health, but yes, this is about the babies,” Josie reassures him.
“Babies,” Noni squeals, clapping her hands excitedly. “You said babies!”
“Yep,” I grin proudly. “Josie and I are having twins. We don’t know what they are yet. We’ll hopefully find out at the next scan.”
Bull and Noni are the first to reach us. We’re hugged to within an inch of our lives.
“Congratulations, little brother,” Bull says, embracing me. “Who’d have thought that the three boys that used to hide in the cupboard in my bedroom, eating stale breakfast bars, would end up here with women like we have? Proud of you, Skinny.”
“None of this would have been possible without you,” I remind him, feeling a little choked up. We’d come a long way from our miserable childhood.
“Okay, move over. My turn,” Noni pushes on Bull’s shoulder, making me laugh, and I let him go before wrapping my arms around my sister-in-law and swaying her gently from side to side.
“I’m so happy for you,” she sniffs, burying her face against my shoulder.
“Thanks, No, we’re pretty stoked. Also, Jett says to tell you it seems to be in your water too, so be careful,” I tease her.
“Nope,” she pushes back from me, but she’s smiling, “no more babies for me. I’ve got my four, and that’s plenty. Now I get to love on your babies instead.”
I’m laughing, but my attention is on Josie and Bull, who seem to be having a serious conversation, but when they both smile, I know everything is fine.
Noni lets me go, and the rest of the MC descend on us.
Bond is the last one. He hands me my phone back before giving me a back-slapping hug.
“Fuck, Skinny, who’d have thought we’d be here? ”
Laughing, I reply, “Bull and I just had that same conversation.”
“Congratulations, Skinny,” lifting my phone up, I see Reaper is still on the screen. “Shit, Reap, sorry man, I didn’t realise that Bond kept you on.”
“No worries, man,” Reaper says, waving his hand. “There’s a bunch of people here that want to say something. Get your Old Lady.”
Going over to Josie, I sling my arm around her shoulder and pull her towards me. “Baby, Reaper has something to say.”
“Reaper, hey,” Josie beams at him. “Oh, everyone is there,” Josie waves because behind Reaper is the entire UK Crow MC and their significant others, all shouting their congratulations to us.
Josie and I spend the next few minutes chatting to various members and catching up.
It’s times like this that it’s hard being away from everyone, but technology has made it easier, and I know we’ll see some of them in just a few short months when they descend on us for Christmas. Until then, we’ll have to make do with video calls.
It’s a night of celebration, and to make up for the noise in the dining room, I ordered a bottle of champagne for each of the dinner tables, and Josie and I circled the room, apologising—though no one seemed to mind, and they were more than happy with the complimentary champagne.
All in all, it turned into a great evening that turned into a better night once I got Josie back to our house and into bed, where we spent the rest of the night celebrating.
Almost dying gave me a new perspective on my life and how lucky I was to not only have an amazing wife but also a pretty fantastic family. Although most of us were not blood relatives, our experiences together made us a family.
Bull, Bond, and I had gone from three scared little boys who clung together to ensure our survival to teenagers that did what we had to and managed to get out of our shitty situation. We’d all three been lucky enough to come through war unscathed and build lives that were pretty fucking fantastic.
Life was good, and as I lost myself in Josie’s warm body as she rode me to completion before collapsing on me, both of us sated and happy, I planned on our life only getting better.
