Later #3
Using two fingers, he opened me and circled my clit with the tip of his tongue, lazily, like he had weeks to go down on me.
Gods.
Amazing.
And torment.
In other words…
Perfection.
And Tanyn.
Before I could tell him to get busy, he casually tossed one of my legs over his shoulder, the other, he dipped back in, and I thought it’d be more torture.
But it wasn’t.
He went at me with tongue and teeth and fingers, and I writhed on the desk, digging the spikes of my shoes in his back, threading my fingers in his hair, pulsing his face into me as he built it higher, higher…
Dear Hecate.
“Honey,” I warned. “You,” I begged, inviting him to fill me.
Tanyn didn’t do that.
He shoved both hands under me, cupping my ass and yanking me into his mouth.
I couldn’t hold it.
Arching my back, clenching my hand in his hair, I came into that mouth, gasping.
As I drifted down, I felt his soft, affectionate licks between my legs, before he sensed I was in afterglow. When he did, tenderly, he tugged down my skirt. And even more tenderly, he slid me off his desk and into his lap.
“Feel better now?” he asked.
“You didn’t get anything,” I murmured, my voice hazy because the orgasm he gave me was so stellar, I was still in afterglow.
“That took my mind off things just fine,” he replied.
I pressed my forehead into his neck and burrowed into his body.
Gods, I loved him.
Down to my soul.
I had no fear around it now.
Fate. Destiny. Good luck.
Who knew?
I no longer cared.
We’d gone through the rite.
He chose me, and I chose him.
It was done.
And I’d found my one.
Tanyn gathered me closer and said gently, “I’ll talk to Jorda about time on Sigil. After you’ve fully handed over to Lua. Does that work for you?”
Actually, that would be perfect timing.
“It works for me,” I replied.
“Now, regrettably, we both have things to do.”
That was, indeed, regrettable.
“But I have a feeling I could swing a booking at my favorite restaurant in Abyssinia for tonight,” he said.
I lifted my head and fluttered a hand to my chest. “Dear me, Your Majesty, are you asking me on a date?”
His lips twitched. “Yes.”
I batted my eyelashes. “I don’t have a thing to wear.”
“I’m taking that as a yes, we’re going out to dinner tonight.”
Tanyn and me doing something normal, like your average, everyday couple courting?
Hells yes, it was a yes.
And topping that, the new thing I learned in my expedition of discovery of all things Tanyn was that he always knew exactly what to do.
I was getting wound up.
He went down on me to unravel my binds.
And then he gave me things to turn my mind and look forward to.
I stroked his jaw with my fingers, memorizing the sharp angle, and thinking maybe now was the time to say the words.
I had a feeling, he knew.
Like I knew.
Our future was set.
We were both all in.
But the words hadn’t been said.
“Later,” Tanyn grunted, his smooth voice supremely gruff.
He knew my thoughts because…
Of course he did.
I wasn’t sure there was a better time than then, with me safe in his arms, not wearing panties, the taste of me still on his tongue.
What I was sure of was, if Tanyn thought there was a better time, then there was.
“We should probably tell Mira we’re going out so she can arrange someone to get a snap,” I said.
“Fuck Mira and that whole mission. There’ll be plenty of time for my beings to get used to you. Aleksei and Laura will be here tomorrow. Before the others start returning, let’s have this for you and me.”
You and me.
“Sounds smashing,” I agreed.
He kissed me.
And yes, I was still on his tongue.
I loved that.
I loved our plans for tonight.
I loved him.
He knew.
And I loved that too.
We’d share when it was time to share.
Now, it was time to keep on keeping on.
And after a light, lovely makeout session (and after, for Hurley, a rubdown), we both got into doing just that.
Tanyn’s favorite restaurant was now my favorite restaurant.
It was very him.
Minimal, but attractive décor. Excellent food, simple, even homey, but done exceptionally with no theatrics. Their private room was quiet. Their wait staff was superb.
And Mira would get what she wanted, because, although we didn’t call in any media to take note of our night out, and we dined in a private room, we didn’t go in the back.
Plenty of beings took pictures of us on the way in, and since word got around, even more on the way out.
In the end, though, it was an intimate evening.
An evening where we didn’t talk about Tatra, or extra guards, or work responsibilities.
We talked about my desire to get a cat (I loved Hurley, but we lived in a huge castle, we had room for a cat).
Tanyn liked this idea (because, of course he did).
We talked about Aleksei’s offer for Tanyn (along with Nayden and Uly) to join his private, secret ring ice league.
And we agreed he should do it, for my part, because I’d noticed my male did two things: work and be with me. He needed some hobbies.
We discussed the book I was reading, and he shared he was interested, so he was going to read it too.
In other words, we talked about life stuff and us stuff and nothing else, while we ate good food, with no stress, nothing pressing. Just us being together.
It was the perfect date.
And now after a rousing round of demon sex which would require a member of staff to deal with some blood stains (what could I say?
my nails were lethal, and Tanyn liked them), where I gave Tanyn the payback he deserved (but this ended with him inside me), we were cuddled in our bed in our castle, falling asleep so we could have the energy to face the next day.
The next day in our lives.
Lives that would be led together.
Thus, I fell asleep easily.
And I did it feeling happy.
Not happy for myself (or not just myself).
Happy for Tanyn.
Because I knew he felt the same.
And it was me giving him that feeling.
