Chapter 32
CHAPTER
THIRTY-TWO
AS SILENTLY AS Elijah could manage, he crept into his bedroom and stopped to stare at his peach in his bed. Georgia was tangled in the bed sheets, her blond hair was all over the place, and her light snoring filled the air.
Nothing was better than coming home to her.
Still trying not to make a noise, he shed off his clothes and slid into bed next to her. Georgia mumbled something, and her head curled into his side by his shoulder, her left arm slinking over his chest.
He glanced at the clock on his wall, and it was seven thirty in the morning, so he was sure she would wake up soon. But he didn’t move, wanting to enjoy the peacefulness he had while she was in his arms.
“Are you okay?” her sleepy voice asked him.
Georgia’s silky hair was in his hand as he looped the strands through his fingers. “It was a long shift.”
She snuggled in closer to him. “You didn’t answer my question.”
“Yes.” He kissed her temple. “I’m okay. What did you want to do today?”
Stretching next to him, his eyes were glued to her body, appreciating every inch of her. She turned to look at him. “I thought we could hang here, make some breakfast, then read or watch a movie. Whatever you want to do.”
“Maybe we do all of that.” His mouth moved to her jaw, peppering her with kisses down her throat as he rolled on top of her.
She giggled, wrapping her arms around him. “I didn’t realize sex was an option.”
Elijah kept his mouth on her, nipping her soft skin by her collarbone. “Morning sex should always be an option.”
Wrapping her legs around his waist, she writhed underneath him. “Hmm, that is something I agree with.”
His cock slid against her pussy, and he fucking groaned at how wet she was for him. Georgia was always ready, and he loved it. Without another thought, he pushed his dick inside her, stilling like he always did so she could adjust to his size.
Months had passed since they started sleeping together, and the fact that only his cock had felt her pussy made him an obsessed asshole.
Was he enough for her?
His hands were next to her head, his forearms on the mattress holding his weight over her as he started fucking her.
“You will only know my cock inside your pussy,” he told her, determined for her to agree. “Tell me, say it’s only me who will ever get you like this.”
Her hips moved in time with his thrusts. “Only you, always only you.”
“You are everything, Peach.” Elijah’s control snapped, and he started fucking her hard. His mouth sucked on her neck, using her skin as a muzzle so he didn’t tell her that he fucking loved her. Biting her hard, he relentlessly pushed in her.
Arching her back, she cried out his name. Fuck, her screaming his name was almost enough to get him off, but he needed her to come. He slammed all the way in her and then stopped. Elijah looked down at her.
“Move your hips against me and make yourself come,” Elijah demanded. She was such a good fucking listener and did what he asked, her breathing getting choppy. “You’re such a good girl, Peach. Grind harder against me, that’s so good. Just a little faster. I can feel how close you are.”
Georgia moaned as her pussy clenched tightly around him while her hips ground into his.
“You feel so good when you orgasm. When you come all over my cock, it makes me come,” he gritted out as he thrusted into her a few more times before his orgasm shot off.
Both of them were out of breath after they came, and he rolled off her. They lay on their backs, and it took a few minutes before he spoke.
“Shower, then breakfast?”
Georgia just laughed, moving off the bed.
AFTER BAGELS AND coffee, Georgia and Elijah sat on his couch.
“I finished the James Patterson book,” she told him as she scrolled on her phone. “I have the Kindle app now, so we can both read. Maybe after lunch we could catch a movie?”
Elijah’s smile made her heart palpitate, in a good way, as it skipped a beat.
“Perfect.” He grabbed the book from the coffee table. Scooting down on the couch to get more comfortable, he pulled her feet into his lap. “What are you going to read?”
His one hand held the book, and the other rested on her leg, idly stroking her calf.
She turned her phone to show him the book cover. “It’s Born a Crime by Trevor Noah. It’s his take on growing up in apartheid South Africa. I’m hoping it’s educational but will have his humor.”
“He is great on The Daily Show,” Elijah told her, still touching her leg.
“No one is Jon Stewart.”
He chuckled. “And no one will be, but Trevor Noah is still a standout.”
After agreeing on the best show host, they jumped into reading. Hours passed when Elijah placed the bookmark in his book and put it back on the coffee table.
“Are you ready to take a break?” he asked. “You were just laughing, so I figured it was good to end on a high note.”
Exiting the app, she put her phone next to his book. “Look how thoughtful you are.”
“I’m always thinking about you.”
Georgia inched over to him, so she was able to rest her head on his shoulder. “You really got this boyfriend thing down.”
He stiffened. “I’m not too sure about that.”
Was the relationship title too much for him? If so, he was right. They had bigger issues.
“Nash saw you texted me, threatened my life if I hurt you, and I got distracted when I got home and didn’t think to tell you until now.”
This was not what she expected. Getting up from the couch, she walked to the window overlooking the woods. Georgia was jealous he had such an amazing view.
Though, not right now.
Elijah scrambled to be next to her. His hands wrapped around her stomach, his chest to her back. His head dipped down and kissed her shoulder. “I’m sorry, I should’ve told you earlier. I was distracted.”
“What distracted you?”
“Peach, you were naked in my bed. Whenever you’re near me, I swear my brain short-circuits. Please don’t be mad.”
She turned in his arms. “I’m not mad. Nash was going to find out eventually. I was more concerned someone learning you’re in a relationship was going to make you topple over.”
“No toppling here.”
Georgia squeezed him tighter before looking up at him. “Still want to go to a movie?”
The way Elijah’s mouth devoured hers, the two of them going to a movie was off the table. His hands went over her butt, lifting her so she could wrap her legs around his waist. Elijah carried her to his bedroom as she kissed him on the throat.
They were insatiable with each other.
“DO YOU HAVE to sleep at your apartment?”
Elijah wasn’t sure when it happened, but when he wasn’t at work, he was a needy fuck who wanted her by his side.
Lightly, Georgia kissed his nose with a smile. “Yes. I have work tomorrow and need to review my patient notes and prep my schedule. I don’t have scrubs here.”
“You’re right.” He wrapped his arms around her as they sat on the couch. He made a mental note to buy her work clothes for his house. “I’m just a selfish asshole.”
Who would have thought Elijah Barnett was going to be a needy boyfriend?
Not him, that’s for sure.
But being with her was addictive, and he loved it.
“I’m leaving in fifteen minutes for one night.” She spoke to him like he was crazy, but for her, maybe he was. “I’m not moving to Eden Park in South Africa.”
That was oddly specific.
He did another tight hug, attempting to pull her closer despite the lack of space between them. “Should I be worried you’re planning a getaway?”
Her giggle made him happy, every single time. “Not even a little. It was one of the towns mentioned in the book I read earlier.”
Elijah pretended to wipe sweat off his forehead, making her laugh again.
“If you were going on a getaway, where would you go?” Elijah asked her.
“Depends. Who is going with me?”
“Does that matter?”
She nodded. “Absolutely. If I’m going by myself, I’d visit Brooks. If it was a girls’ trip, probably Vegas. A group vacation, maybe the beach or something low-key.”
“What about if it was with me?”
Her eyes were sparkling. “Anywhere. Elijah, I’d go anywhere with you because no matter where we are, I’m happy.”
Leaning down, he kissed her and wondered how the hell he got so lucky. But still, a nagging thought that never left him clouded his brain. She was too good for him.
