Love sick rivan and forced kiss #5

Yes.

It hit RIVAN harder than any bullet ever could.

His fingers curled into fists inside his pockets.

His jaw clenched so tightly that the veins along his neck became visible.

Reyansh had witnessed the entire exchange.

He glanced at RIVAN.

Finally, he sighed under his breath.

"...This war has only just begun."

Devyani glanced at Zaid.

"Zaid, wait. I'll just change and come. Then we'll leave."

Zaid smiled easily and nodded. "Sure, Devu. I'll wait."

Before following her inside, he deliberately looked toward RIVAN and gave him a faint, knowing smirk.

A smirk that said everything without a single word.

RIVAN's jaw tightened.

Devyani had barely taken a few steps when he moved in front of her, blocking her path.

She looked up at him with an unimpressed expression.

"What?"

His voice was calm, almost too calm.

"Where are you going?"

She folded her arms.

"Why?"

A small sarcastic smile tugged at her lips.

"Do I need your permission, Mr. Thakur?"

For a moment, neither of them spoke.

Then RIVAN answered with surprising patience.

"No."

His eyes remained fixed on hers.

"But I don't like it when you go out with Zaid."

There wasn't anger in his tone.

Only honesty.

Devyani sighed.

"Well... what exactly am I supposed to do about that?"

She tilted her head.

"You don't like it?"

"Close your eyes."

"Problem solved."

She gently stepped around him.

"Now move."

Without waiting for another reply, she walked inside the villa.

RIVAN remained standing in the garden.

Motionless.

His expression had gone completely blank.

Anyone who knew him understood that was never a good sign.

Inside his head...

He had already imagined at least a hundred different ways of making Zaid disappear from the face of the earth.

Every single plan ended the same way.

With Reyansh declaring war.

With Devyani hating him.

He exhaled sharply.

"No."

He muttered to himself.

"He's her friend."

"If he wasn't..."

His eyes darkened.

"...he would've been buried by now."

Almost twenty minutes later...

The front door opened again.

RIVAN instinctively looked up.

And forgot to blink.

Devyani walked down the steps in a simple yet elegant outfit, her hair loosely framing her face. She wasn't trying to impress anyone, but somehow she managed to steal every bit of attention around her.

Zaid opened the passenger-side door for her.

She smiled.

"Thank you."

Just as she reached the car...

A firm hand gently caught her wrist.

She stopped.

Before she could react, RIVAN had stepped in front of her.

For a heartbeat, the entire driveway fell silent.

Zaid's smile faded.

RIVAN looked into Devyani's eyes.

There was frustration.

Jealousy.

Longing.

A thousand unspoken words.

He slowly lifted his free hand and lightly cupped her cheek.

His thumb brushed her skin for the briefest moment.

"I'm trying very hard..." he said quietly, "...not to stop you."

She just ignored him and moved from there.

She didn't even have time to react a strong, calloused hand gripped her wrist, jerking her backward with sudden, possessive force.

She gasped, her back slamming against Rivan's hard chest.

He didn't let go instead, his other arm wrapped around her waist, pinning her flush against his body.

The heat radiating from him was oppressive, fueled by the simmering rage and jealousy that had been eating him alive while he watched Zaid smirk at him.

Rivan didn't say a word.

He spun her around in one fluid motion, trapping her between his towering frame and the cold metal of the car.

His eyes were dark, clouded with a primal hunger and a territorial streak that made Devyani's breath hitch.

Before she could utter a single protest, Rivan leaned in and captured her lips with a bruising, desperate intensity.

The kiss wasn't gentle; it was a claim.

He crashed his mouth onto hers, his lips smashing against hers with a hunger that bordered on violent.

Devyani let out a muffled moan as Rivan's tongue forced its way past her teeth, invading her mouth with an aggressive, sweeping motion.

He tasted of mint and raw desire, his tongue swirling against hers in a deep, wet friction that left her dizzy.

Rivan groaned deep in his throat, a sound of pure animalistic need.

He tilted her head back, deepening the angle to gain more access, sucking on her lower lip until it was plump and swollen.

His tongue flicked against the roof of her mouth, tasting every inch of her, claiming her territory before Zaid could take her away.

The kiss was wet and messy, the sound of their lips slapping together and the sloppy slide of their tongues filling the silence of the garden.

His hand moved from her waist, sliding up to cup the back of her neck, his fingers tangling in her hair to hold her firmly in place.

He sucked her tongue into his mouth, pulling it with a rhythmic, demanding pressure that sent shivers racing down her spine.

Every time she tried to breathe, he sealed the gap, stealing the air from her lungs and replacing it with the scent of his skin and the heat of his breath.

The kiss grew more frantic, more sensual, as he devoured her lips, his mouth moving from her lips to the sensitive corner of her mouth, licking and nipping at her skin before returning to crush his mouth against hers once more.

When he finally pulled back, just a fraction of an inch, a thin string of glistening saliva connected their lips.

Rivan's breathing was heavy, his eyes burning with a possessive fire that warned her that no matter where she went or who she was with, she belonged to him.

RIVAN stepped back, putting a small distance between them.

For a brief second, neither of them moved.

The garden fell into complete silence.

Then

Slap.

The sound echoed sharply through the entire courtyard.

Every conversation stopped.

Every servant froze where they stood.

Zaid's expression hardened.

Reyansh slowly turned toward the sound.

The red mark blooming across RIVAN's cheek was impossible to miss.

He didn't move.

He didn't react.

He simply stood there, looking at Devyani.

Her chest rose and fell rapidly.

Her eyes burned with anger, hurt, and disbelief.

She hadn't even thought before raising her hand.

It had happened on instinct.
