Epilogue - Charlize
Nine months later
These past few months have been the best I’ve ever experienced in my whole life. It’s exciting, peaceful, and full of adventures. The men and I have gotten much closer than I would’ve ever thought.
Our bond is stronger, our love seemingly getting newer every morning. I don’t know what exactly I’ve done to deserve such a happy and fulfilled life, but I am grateful.
Ironically, I’m grateful that my family sold me off to the traders when they did. It was a blessing in disguise—because what was supposed to break me ended up being the very thing that connected me to my fated mates.
As crazy as it sounds, if I ever went back in time, I wouldn’t change anything. Not a single thing. I’ve come to understand that everything that happened to me, every pain I ever had to endure, was part of fate’s grand scheme.
I had to go through all of that to become the version of myself that I am today.
This entire pregnancy period has been stress-free for me. I guess that’s the benefit of having three powerful men in your life who cherish and adore you. I never lack anything because they’re always there for me.
Their possessiveness of me has tripled since the baby bump became visible. They guide and protect me vehemently despite my protests that I’m not a fragile thing that would break if they’re not around.
These men have proven beyond reasonable doubt that I’m the center of their world. As they are mine.

The pain starts at dawn.
I know immediately what it means. Nine months of waiting, and now my body decides the waiting is over.
“Sinth.” My voice comes out tight, my breaths short and shallow. “I think it’s time.”
He’s beside me instantly, hand finding mine, steady the way he always is. “How far apart?”
“Close,” I groan. “Too close.”
He looks at me, confused, but doesn’t panic. Instead, he calls for help.
The midwives burst into the room like they’ve been on standby this whole time. They tell him to step aside, and he does, hands in his hair, that confusion spreading to other parts of his face.
“Breathe, my lady, breathe,” the lead midwife says, laying me flat on my back.
The pain coursing through me is unbearable, and I cry out, my voice echoing off the walls. Within seconds, the room is in total chaos; the midwives work quickly and efficiently to ensure I come down safely.
In the midst of my agony, I hear Chris’s voice asking Sinth for details of what’s happening.
“My lords, you need to exit the room, now!” the midwife says to them.
“No,” I say to her, too weak to speak louder. “Let them stay.”
“But my lady—”
“Let them stay!” I bark, tipping my head back to the pillows.
The midwife is positioned between my legs, urging me to push harder. My skin is damp with sweat, my heart racing in my heaving chest. I cry out so loudly my throat hurts.
My knuckles whiten as I clutch the sheets tightly, eyes squeezed shut in tremendous pain.
“Push, my lady, push!”
“I am pushing!” I yell, furious, confused, afraid, and panicking.
I can feel my vagina stretching out, the flesh tearing as the baby’s head comes out. The pain is like none I’ve ever experienced, and my whole body is trembling. There are tears in my eyes, and I can feel veins on my forehead almost popping as I strain.
Wayne bursts through the door loudly, already talking before he’s fully in the room. “Is she alright? What’s happening?”
“The baby’s coming!” the midwife announces. “You’re doing great, my lady. Just a little more.”
“I can’t,” I whisper, struggling to catch my breath, my eyes fluttering.
My vision is blurry, the voices around me are echoing, and I feel so sleepy.
“Don’t let her fall asleep!” The midwife’s voice slices through my consciousness.
My body is weak, my heartbeat is slowing down, and I have no strength left in me to push anymore.
That’s when I hear them. My Alphas.
“You can do this, Charlize,” Sinth says, his voice sounding distant as I drift on and off consciousness. “Follow the sound of my voice. I know you can hear me.”
I feel familiar hands on both of mine, fingers intertwined.
“Wake up, cutie,” Wayne’s voice is laced with panic. “Wake up.”
“We need you.” This is Chris. “The baby needs you. Please, wake up.”
The baby, I think to myself.
‘This is not how or where we die, Charlize,’ says my wolf. ‘We have a baby to deliver. Now, wake up!’
I gasp loudly, eyes wide open.
“Oh, thank goodness!” Wayne sighs. “I thought we lost you there for a second.”
They’re crouched on both sides of my bed, holding my hands.
“You can do this,” Chris says, casting me an encouraging look.
“We’re here for you, and we’re not going anywhere,” Sinth adds.
I draw a deep breath and squeeze my eyes tightly while pushing with what little strength I have left.
“That’s it, my lady! I can see the baby’s head!” the midwife calls. “One more push, my lady. One more!”
I squeeze against my mates’ fingers, using their grips as anchors as I groan deeply.
The cry comes first. High, furious, healthy.
Then another, right behind it.
“Twins,” the midwife says, sounding almost as stunned as the rest of us
I collapse onto the mattress, exhausted. My heart is still racing, my breathing ragged as I stare blankly into space.
The cries of two babies fill the air, and my mates flank around, comforting me.
“You did it,” Chris says, wiping the sweat on my forehead with a towel. “You actually did it.”
A light chuckle falls from my lips as my heart swells with a feeling that supersedes excitement.
“It’s a boy and a girl,” the midwife says, carrying one in her arms wrapped in a clean white cloth.
Her assistant is carrying the second child, her smile as broad as mine.
Tears sting my eyes as I stretch out my arms, eager to hold them. Carefully, the twins are placed in my arms, their fathers staring down at them.
The boy will one day rule one of the three packs, and the girl will be our princess with the possibility of her husband taking position as the next ruler of one of the packs in the event that I do not have more boys in the years to come.
But all of those political matters are for the future. Right now, they are just our babies.
Sinth is the first to move, gentle hands caressing the baby’s tiny cheek. “Look at her,” he breathes, awe replacing his usual calm for just a moment. “She’s perfect.”
“Just like her mother,” Wayne adds.
Chris sits on the edge of the bed, and his jaw finally unlocks. His eyes go wet, unguarded in a way I’ve rarely seen from him.
“He’s so small,” he says, voice cracking, eyes fixed on the baby boy. “So fragile.”
All three of them shower the pups with praises and promises of safety, love, and a healthy family.
“Thank you,” Wayne says to me. “Thank you for these perfect gifts.”
“No, thank you,” I say, blinking back the tears of joy that wells my eyes. “You all have been kind, loving, and far more caring toward me than anyone ever had.”
“Yeah, it’s our job.” Wayne smiles at me.
“Still,” I insist. “Thank you.” My gaze shifts between the three of them. “I love you…I love you all so much.” I lose the battle against the tears. They flow uncontrollably.
Chris presses a kiss on my head. “We love you more than ever imagine, Charlize.”
“Always and forever,” Sinth says, his voice sweet and soothing.
“Always and forever,” I repeat, unable to stop smiling.
The girl who arrived in this palace with nothing, believing she deserved nothing, today is surrounded by everything she never thought she’d have. Her mates and their twin pups.
Our home is complete now. And when I fall asleep that night, I do so knowing I’m the luckiest Omega in the world.
