Chapter 9 #3
“Lou, I swear you don’t know what all of you does to me, and honestly it’s so hard for me to explain this shit to make it make sense.
But this…my pretty ass muthafuckin’ pussy feeds a hunger that no other woman has ever satisfied.
And it’s more than sex, this is a soul cry.
Yes the eyes are windows, but this… baby, this is the door and I’m about to knock this shit down until it’s forever mine.
” Another inhale then Courtland ripped my panties off, pushing my legs further apart and allowing his tongue to spread me.
My back arched while I whimpered from the sheer pleasure.
“Shhh… Gotdamn, Chief, wait, baby.” I went to run, but Courtland tapped my thighs, then rolled us over until I was on top, riding his face.
I grabbed the headboard and went to work, grinding my hips into his face until I felt the tingle in my toes that had me lifting off him a bit. I made the mistake of looking down to see Courtland’s menacing glare.
I had no time to apologize for my actions properly before my back was on the bed with my legs up in the air and his dick plunging into me.
“You still ain’t learn your lesson, huh, baby?” Courtland was deep, and as if this pussy was truly his, on the spot he knew would have me creaming on his dick.
“It was an accii—Chief.” I cried as he put my legs into my chest, giving him more space to fall into me. I was full of dick and loving the sweet pain.
“Naw fuck that fuck ass apology. What’s my rule?”
“My pussy has to apologize, baby.”
“Then tell me you’re sorry and mean it, Lou.” He tossed us back, putting me back on top, this time on his dick, pumping me up and down while I clawed into his chest.
“Ooh, shit, there you go, Lou. Let me hear you.” I knew he meant the combination of both my pussy and moans, so I laid on his chest, putting my mouth to one ear while my other set of lips made music to the other.
Courtland grabbed my ass, spreading it wider as he thrusted harder.
Not even two minutes later I was cumming, sending my body into a fit of spasms, but he locked his arms around me, not quitting his pursuit.
“I’m knocking, baby, let me the fuck in! Let me have you,” he whispered with me responding, “Okay.” I quivered while he filled me up.
I lay in Courtland’s arms while we sat outside the back of the cabin, watching a movie on a projector screen. He really did think of everything to make this date feel special.
“Today has been nothing short of amazing. Thank you,” I said, leaning up to peck his lips.
“You deserve this and more, Lou.” I put my attention back on the rom-com we were watching starring Oakley Charles, unsure what to say.
I knew I did, but stuff like this never happened in my marriage.
Quincey didn’t date me. I only got gifts and money when he fucked up but it was no real meaning behind it, like Courtland did for me today.
I mentioned my favorite food once and he had it waiting for me.
Then he had a whole massage team cater to my body from me mentioning I was stressed out.
All simple things to some, but worth every dollar Quincey had ever thrown at me.
I felt seen for the first time by a man and it wasn’t my damn husband. I didn’t feel a way about it either.
“I got one more gift,” he said, breaking into my thoughts.
“Wait, no. Baby, you have literally done enough for me today.”
Of course he ignored me, getting up to get a huge box from under the table.
When I noticed it was from this bear building store, my cheeks rose as my smile began to spread across my face.
“You got me a teddy bear?”
“Not just any teddy bear, I got you a mini version of me.” I opened the box to see a chocolate bear dressed in the cutest outfit that matched one Courtland had on the other day. His little shirt said squeeze me, so I did.
“I miss you, Lou.” Courtland’s voice filled the air but it came from the bear. I was so tickled that my laugh was light as I squeezed it again.
“Yeah, we’re close, but not enough for either of our liking. So, on nights when we have to be apart, you got me there with you.”
See! I told him I missed him once and he got me a mini version to keep me company at night. Tears welled in my eyes, which Courtland caught.
“I know we never said exclusive, and it’s only been a little over a month, but Lou, I’m patiently waiting for our forever. Until then, will you be my woman?” He only asked me to be his girlfriend but the way I leaped into his arms made me feel as if he asked me to marry him.
“Yes.”
The sound of my phone ringing broke up our moment. I groaned once I noticed the time and that it was Quincey.
I hit the button before putting him on speaker.
“Johnni, I know you fucking with me right now, where the fuck are you? Your nail appointment and whatever else should have been done hours ago!”
“I told you I had a busy day, Q. I’m running behind.”
“I don’t give a damn about your so-called busy day. Fuck whatever you got going on and get home so you can get ready. Your job is to be here with me making me look good.” Three beeps in my ear let me know he hung up.
I got quiet, feeling Courtland’s heated glare on me. I went to get up so I could leave, but his forearm against my abdomen prevented me from moving.
“Naw, I’m not sending you back to that shit. I don’t like how he talked to you nor about you like all you are is a fuck ass possession, a gotdamn trophy first and wife second.”
“Courtland, I have to go.” I didn’t even bother defending Quincey’s actions because it was the truth. I knew my role yet he loved to remind me every chance he got.
“No the fuck you don’t. Tell me what you get by staying married to a man who clearly doesn’t love you.”
I shook my head. “It’s not what you think. I know I’m in a loveless marriage, I agreed to one when I got married. It’s the lack of respect that we once had for one another that has faded over the years.”
He frowned. “Why would you do that?”
I bit on my bottom lip, contemplating my next statement to make sure Courtland would fully understand my position.
“I’m trusting you to keep this between me and you. If it got out that I told you, things will get bad for both of us.”
“I told you before, I can handle the problems, baby. Just tell me.”
My heart was pounding out of fear thinking that Quincey had my phone tapped or something. I wiped my sweaty palms down my dress, blowing out a breath, then continued.
“Quincey and I are in a lavender marriage. I’ve been his beard since high school. And in return, I get a stable lifestyle and security. I was a parentless child who had nothing. Quincey offered not only money but a family.”
“Okay, but this ain’t no reason to stay now that I’m here. You can leave him Lou.”
“I promise I want out now, but it’s not an easy exit. That day we ran into each other, I was seeing my lawyer to find a loophole in a contract that I’d signed to make it happen. Please be patient with me.” My phone began to ring again, with another call from Quincey that I ignored this time.
He released a heavy sigh as his jaw flexed.
“A contract? Okay, but the moment you hear back from the lawyer, let me know so we can plan your escape. I don’t trust him nor his family not to try some slick shit.”
I nodded.
“Yes, Chief.” He offered a weak smile before wrapping me in his arms and kissing my forehead, which suddenly had the power to calm every racing nerve in my body.
I had just let go of a sixteen year secret that I had been carrying.
No one knew besides Quincey and me…and well, his lovers, and now Courtland.
Quincey didn’t even list the full details in the contract, instead using code words and other cryptic phrases.
When my phone went off again, regrettably I broke out of Courtland’s embrace so I could head home.
At my car, there weren’t several kisses but one long one that almost had me saying fuck it and taking my chances with whatever consequences.
“Call me when you make it in,” Courtland said as he shut my door. I nodded then pulled off with a heavy feeling in the pit of my stomach.
“Good morning, ladies. I’d like to welcome you all to the annual Ms., Miss, Mrs. Crescent Falls pageant.
This weekend all of you will be put to the test to see which of you will walk away with the crown this year.
This year, we’re changing the schedule to accommodate some of our later arrivals who just got in not too long ago.
First on the agenda is the meet and greet of the judges, host, and sponsors.
Then we’ll give you ladies time to mingle amongst each other.
I know some of you are roommates, while some of our vets who returned are in single rooms, so we want to give you all a chance to get to know each other a little better.
We understand that this is a competition, but that doesn’t mean you can’t leave with at least making a few new friends.
After that, we’ll do a quick rehearsal then break for lunch.
You’ll finally get to rest before interviews this evening.
I hope you ladies are excited to be here.
Again, I know this is a competition, but please remember to have fun this weekend.
As all the greats who came before you have said, being yourself is the boldest and most beautiful thing you can be.
Okay, without any more from me, I give you, your panel of judges. ”
We sat in the ballroom listening to the host give her welcome speech to officially commence this year's pageant.
While the other ladies gave rounds of applause at the presentation of the judges who made themselves known, my attention was on the man who stood off to the side dressed in a crisp black suit.
And looking good as fuck too.
And as good as he looks, why the fuck is he here?
Johnni, obviously he’s working.
But why, was the question. I mean, I did want to see him, especially since I didn’t have time to sneak away this morning before check-in, just not here.
Plus, not to mention, now is literally not the time nor the place, Johnni. You’re working and Mama Steph is here.
Ugh!
He hadn’t been at check in with the rest of the security team and now I was curious about that too. And he isn’t even dressed like the rest of them.
No, Courtland’s whole stance and appearance said that he was guarding something precious. Since I still didn’t have his eyes on me, I followed his, landing on Oakley Charles who smiled and waved, doing her best to mimic our queen wave.
It wasn’t perfect, but I could tell she put a lot of effort in.
“Y’all gon have to get me right before the end of the weekend with the wave so I can tell my husband he has to address me as an honorary Mrs. Crescent Falls Queen.”
A few giggles flowed from the group at her words while I put my eyes back on him.
They must have been burning a hot ass hole into the side of his head because it finally granted me his.
He tossed me a wink that to anyone not paying close attention to looked like a deep blink.
Even though I was low-key hella nervous, now my breathing seemed to relax.
Courtland does have a way of making you relax whenever he’s around.
And like that, my mind went back to the feeling of his thick tongue lapping my pussy juices.
No, Johnni. Clean your thoughts up. We’re here for a reason, and unfortunately, Courtland wasn’t it nor could he be.
I readjusted in my seat, putting my gaze on the judges, learning names and faces, doing my best to pick up generic vibes.
