6. Trigger Happy #4

“Yes. I’m going to grab my check, and I guess let them know I won’t be coming back to work.”

“Aight, bet. All the paperwork and insurance are in the glove box. I’ll hit you later and check in.”

With a hand resting on her waist, he leaned in and pecked her soft mouth. It felt good, so he paused and did it again. Wheels on the gravel road drew their attention past Mozzi’s car where Brim pushed his Black Tahoe.

“Can you do me a favor?” Coast asked, stroking his cheek and looking into his warm eyes.

“I bought you a car and all this other shit, Trouble… the fuck else you want?” Mozzi argued, waving his hand at her new whip.

“I want you to be careful. Ass.” She snatched away from him, but he reached for her arm and pulled her back in.

“C’mere. You my girl, right?”

“You make sure you let L, R, and G know that I’m your girl. I don’t play that sharing shit. So, they better find something safe to do.” Coast’s dainty hand rested on the back of his neck.

“I’mma bend that ass over and fuck the shit out you, you keep talking like that.” Mozzi crushed his lips against hers.

“Promises, promises.”

“Yo, this shit fire right here, though.” Moose circled her ride.

“Take the rest of this shit out. She ain’t about to be riding around with all this.”

“What else did you get?” she queried, breaking out of his embrace and surveying the other bags.

There were Apple products, which included a laptop, iPad, and iPencil.

Beside them were more shopping bags with a digital camera and a bunch of SD cards.

Mozzi had spent a grip on her, and she didn’t even want to know the tag.

Minus a few things, she could start doing photo shoots and other projects right away.

“This is a lot of stuff.”

“I know. Yo, Brim, come put this shit in your car. I don’t want her riding around like this,” he called over his shoulder to his boy.

Brim stuck a finger out the window, and he assumed he was telling him to hold on since he could tell he had his cell phone to his ear through the windshield.

“Maybe I could help out at the house. Doesn’t Kong need someone to be a nanny for the kids?” Coast picked up a very expensive professional camera from the bag and examined the box.

“You sure about that? Kara and Kyro kind of like birth control,” Moose mocked.

“Don’t do them. I’m Auntie Coast now, by the way, or have you forgotten?”

“Shit, I ain’t arguing. Uncle Moose just gon’ tie they asses up and stick a Fruit by the Foot in they mouth.”

Coast fell over laughing with Mozzi when Brim’s heavy ass approached, huffing and puffing.

His deeply furrowed brow indicated he’d more than likely been on the phone with Royal’s ass.

He didn’t argue with anybody but her. Although a big boy, he was handsome and paid, so there was no shortage of bitches constantly throwing themselves at him.

Royal didn’t play that shit, though, and was quick to pop up on him if he couldn’t ‘say her name’ as she would say.

He told her time and again that she couldn’t be doing that shit because she never knew what type of time he was really on.

When her car windows got shot out because she decided to follow him one day, she went off and made him buy her a whole new car when he told her ass he was working.

He’d been on high alert and thought she was somebody gunning for him the way she was tailing him.

“What’s good? You straight?” Mozzi dapped him up and watched Brim swipe his hand through his thick beard.

“Yeah, fucking with Royal’s ass. She’s tripping because she thinks I forgot her birthday and shit.

It’s months away, and she been talking about doing it big for her twenty-fifth since forever.

I’m letting her talk her shit and sweat me now, so when the time come, she ain’t got nothing but ass and head for me,” Brim explained, gaining a chuckle from both Mozzi and Moose while Coast rolled her eyes.

“You’re petty.”

“Don’t nobody say shit to her if you see or talk to her, though.

She out now burning through my credit limit because she mad about it.

She wanted me to fly her and all her ratchet friends to Miami or some shit, but I got something better in mind.

” Brim rubbed his hands together. “Then she can take her ass to Miami the following day.”

“I’m heading to the farm. Make sure you stay with her, bro.” Mozzi aimed a finger at Coast and signaled for Moose to follow.

“I got you.” Brim bobbed his head and turned to Coast. “Let me get these bags.”

Once he had all her things gathered, Brim carried them over to the car and secured them in his back seat.

Coast hopped into her jeep, the smooth leather so soft against her ass while gripping the steering wheel.

This was nice! She loved the interior and all the new features on the dash.

When she started it, she saw that it only had like thirty-three miles on it.

When she bought her other jeep, it already had nearly 100,000 miles, but as long as she took care of it, it took care of her.

She’d never had anything fresh off the lot, so she excitedly shifted into drive.

Mozzi and Moose took off in their vehicles down the driveway, and moments later, Coast was right behind them. Brim hit a U-turn and stayed a couple of feet from her bumper. Cruising the city, knowing that he was on point behind her, she could admit it did make her feel safer.
