I close my eyes. The orgasm had been intense, but they all are with Ba-Daden so I don’t think it is that.
Then his last words fill my mind. I have impregnated you with my potent seed.
Perhaps that’s it. Maybe I am indeed pregnant. We didn’t waste time and have been fucking since the day I arrived. That’s just how it is between us. The love and lust was instant.
I touch my belly and wonder if I have a little half alien, half human growing inside of me.
He returns and sits on the bed, passes me the water. I take a sip.
“I think,” I say, “I should go and see the medic.”
“Are you sick? Are you unwell? Is it fatal? Has the planet killed you?”
He looks so scared I take his hand. “No, Ba-Daden, of course not. I am very much alive, but…I think I might be pregnant, with our child.”
His eyes widen. “Yes…that could be it! I have read that Earth women can feel dizzy and sick in the early stages of pregnancy.”
He jumps up and paces left and right. “Yes, we will go now to the medical facility. I will take you. Ca-Tain is the best doctor; he has specialized in Earth women and he is close by.”
I smile and swing my legs over the side of the bed. I wait for the dizziness to besiege me but I escape it.
“Shall I carry you to the car?” Without waiting for an answer, he picks me up and holds me tight against his bare chest.
“Hey.” I bat his arm. “I think we should put some clothes on first.”
He grins. “Ah, yes…good idea.”
Forty minutes later, I am at Ca-Tain’s surgery. Ba-Daden, much to his annoyance, wasn’t allowed in. It’s a female only space and he has been sent off to the factory to continue his day as normal.
He has left me the vehz and walked to his place of work, which is good for me, because once I have seen the medic I can get to Rachel’s in the hope that the queen will still be visiting.
Another female walks in. She is petite with mousy brown hair chopped into a pixie style. Her big eyes make her look even more pixie like.
I smile. “Hey.”
“Hi.” She sits opposite me.
“How are you?” I ask, even though it’s a strange question giving that we are sitting in a medical facility. But there aren’t many of us women here on Planet Hade and it’s always nice to chat to someone I haven’t met before.
“Much the same.” She shrugs. “I am a regular visitor here.”
“Oh?”
“Yes.” She manages a tight smile. “What about you? Everything okay?”
“I think I might be pregnant so I have come to see Ca-Tain.”
A sadness flashes over her eyes. “That’s wonderful, I hope you are.”
I hesitate, wondering what she isn’t saying. Then, “Did you come on the first wave of women from Earth? I can’t remember seeing you on the second.”
“Yes, I have been here for some time with my mate, Fa-Ling.”
I nod, waiting for her to go on.
“He works at the border, but our bala is very near it so we are together often.”
“That’s good. It would be hard to breed if you weren’t together.”
“Exactly.” She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.
“I’m Sophie, by the way, I live not far from here with my mate Ba-Daden, he works at the tech factory.”
“I’m Nina, nice to meet you, Sophie.”
“If you’ve been here a while, do you have a child?” I ask and instantly regret the question when a shudder seems to wend up her spine and over her body.
“No.” She shakes her head. “Unfortunately not. Despite our best efforts.”
“I’m sorry.”
“That is why I am here today.” She nods at the door to Ca-Tain’s office. “I am desperate, it’s why we are here—to breed—and I am failing.”
“It must be hard for you both.” I resist the urge to rub my belly where I believe a child is growing.
“I was okay on the fertility test we all had to do, that drop of saliva before we signed, so I can’t understand it.”
I nod, remembering the test. “And him? What about his fertility?”
Her eyes go wide. “The Planet Hade men don’t need fertility tests. They are all potent…so I am told.”
It certainly seems that my male is potent but surely there are exceptions. “Are you mating often?”
“Yes! Three times a day. Morning, noon and night.”
“Oh…that must get uncomfortable. We mate twice a day but I need some time off from the…you know, ass fucking every now and again, and just take one in my…” I tail off. I hardly know this woman.
“I agree,” she says, “we mainly just use my pussy, but it’s…”
“What?”
“Well it’s not like Earth men, is it? My dick of an ex-boyfriend back down there, home, he used to come like an elephant, spunk everywhere, dripping down my legs when I stood up from the bed. But Fa-Ling, it’s nothing more than a puff of air, he seems to enjoy it but…
I don’t see how air can get me pregnant.”
Now it’s my turn to be shocked. “A puff of air?”
“Yes.” She holds out her hands as if bemused. “From the tips…little puffs.”
I am also bemused. “But…but it shouldn’t be like that, Nina…I don’t think. When Ba-Daden comes he fills me with copious amounts of thick purple cum, every time.”
“He does?”
“Yes.”
She leans forward. “Are you sure?”
I laugh. “Yes, I am sure.”
She stands and paces to the window and back. “But…but how didn’t I know this?”
“I guess if he told you that puffs of air are normal then why wouldn’t you believe him?”
“Yes, he said that’s how it is. That is their anatomy and evolution.”
“I think you should speak to Ca-Tain about this.” I didn’t really know what else to suggest.
“I agree.” She sets her shoulders back. “Yes. I will.”
At that moment the door opens and Ca-Tain, the medic I’d seen soon after my arrival on Planet Hade to ensure I’d adapted to the atmosphere, calls me into his office.
“I hope I see you again,” I say to Nina. “And I hope you get a solution.”
“Thank you.”
Ca-Tain gestures to a seat and closes the door. “Sophie, it is good to see you.” He pauses at my side, pushes my hair over my ear and looks at it. “Doing well in our atmosphere, I see.”
How he can tell from my pointy-tipped ear I don’t know.
“Yes, very well.”
He sits on the other side of a shiny white desk and waits expectantly.
“Except this morning, doctor, I felt dizzy, weak, not quite right and I wondered, as we have been mating a lot, if I might be pregnant.”
A twitch of a smile catches the right side of his mouth. “Well that would be good news. Shall we take a look at you?”
“Yes. Of course.”
Within a minute I am laid on a sterile-looking white bench with my belly exposed. I am surprised his technology is so like Earth’s when he puts a small pen-like piece of equipment on my lower abdomen and looks at a screen.
A sudden riot of color and movement appears. He leans closer to the screen, traces something with his finger and then sits back and nods at me. “Yes, there is a foetus there with a beating heart, organs small but intact and I’d guess two weeks old.
“Gosh, that’s…that’s great news.”
“You conceived very fast, this is promising.”
I grin and stand when he does. “Ba-Daden will be very excited.”
“As will the king. The more babies arriving the better.”
“So what next?” I ask.
“You must eat well, rest when you are tired, and come and see me weekly for monitoring.”
“I can do that.”
“And you can still mate, if you want to, but gently.”
I nod. “I understand.”
“Would you like some medication for the dizzy spells? I can inject you now.”
“What? No…no that won’t be necessary.” The thought of taking a drug that will go straight to the foetus…my baby…is instantly horrifying. “It’s gone now, the dizzy feeling.”
“Very well, but if it comes back you must let me know. There is no need to suffer any symptoms other than a swollen belly when pregnant.”
I nod. “And it’s how long? The gestation?”
“Five months, you can prepare a nursery whenever you want.”
“I will, thank you.” Now I do cradle my lower abdomen and I smile. This is what I’ve wanted for so long. A baby, a family, a good man at my side who I can trust to support and protect us.
And Ba-Daden is that man. I love him with everything that I am.
I leave the office and find Nina still sitting there, hands on her lap.
