Sawyer

I woke slow.

The sheets smelled faintly of lavender and sex, and Addison was curled against me, bare, warm, and still. Her legs tangled with mine, her body wrapped around me like even in sleep, she knew exactly where she wanted to be.

I shifted just enough to kiss her lips. She stirred with a quiet sigh, stretched, then burrowed closer and tucked her face into my neck. Her lips found the skin beneath my jaw, lingering there, lazy and intimate.

“Morning,” I murmured, my voice thick with sleep.

“Mmm. Morning.” Her voice was gravelly and sweet. She kissed my throat, then my shoulder. “You smell good.”

“That’s probably you.”

She smiled against my skin. “No. It’s you. This bed. All of it.”

“This bed probably smells like sex,” I said with a laugh.

“Well, then we smell good.” Addison gave me a sleepy smirk.

We stayed tangled together, unhurried, her fingers tracing my ribs.

My hand moved slowly down her back.

She pressed closer, kissing my shoulder, then my jaw, then the edge of my ear.

My breath caught.

“Want to shower with me?” I asked, my thumb brushing the curve of her lower back.

“Do I get to touch you?”

My hand tightened around her waist. “I’m counting on it.”

She smiled and sat up, her hair wild, lips swollen, and cheeks still flushed from sleep.

The morning light made her look almost unreal.

I was already gone again.

We made our way to the bathroom, bare feet quiet against the wood floor, our bodies brushing on purpose. The water ran hot, steam filling the room and fogging the mirror as I stepped into the shower.

Addison stepped in behind me, her hair still twisted into a messy bun now.

“You’re not actually here to shower, are you?” I asked, my voice low and teasing as my gaze moved slowly over her. Thighs. Hips. Breasts. All slick and glistening beneath the water. She grinned without a trace of shame. “Nope. I’m here to be naked with you.”

I groaned, already half gone. “Fuck, baby.”

She stepped closer, closing the space between us. Heat from the water mixed with the warmth of her body as her hands moved over my skin, firm and reverent, learning every curve.

She cupped my breasts, her thumbs circling my nipples until they tightened beneath her touch. Her eyes stayed on me as my head tipped back and water ran down my throat.“Fuck,” I gasped. “Yes, baby. Just like that.”

“I love how responsive you are for me.” Her voice was low and breathless.

She brushed her lips over one breast before taking my nipple into her mouth. Her tongue moved slowly, followed by the light scrape of her teeth that pulled another moan from me.

I shifted closer and slid my thigh between hers.

Addison gasped, her mouth leaving my nipple as her hands caught on my shoulders. Her body reacted before she could think about it, hips rolling forward once, tentative. The sound she made went straight through me.

“There you go,” I murmured, gripping her waist. “You want to ride my thigh, baby?”

She nodded and bit gently into my shoulder as she moved against me again.

Her cheeks were flushed from the heat, water sliding over her skin as her hips rocked slowly.

“Sawyer…”

“I’ve got you.” I guided her hips, holding her steady while steam curled around us. “Use me. Take what you need.”

Her forehead dropped against mine, her breathing turning uneven.

“You look so fucking good,” I whispered. “All worked up for me.”

She pressed down harder, and I tightened my grip. “Baby…”

“Good girl. Just like that.”

Her eyes fell closed as she found her rhythm. She was a moaning mess and I loved it. I kissed along her jaw, praising her between every broken breath.

“That’s it, Addie. Keep going. Such a good girl.”

She clung to me, moving with more confidence as the hot water poured over us.

“Look at me,” I murmured.

Her eyes opened, dark and unfocused.

“That’s my girl.”

This mostly needs the action and dialogue smoothed so it stays hot without getting tangled:

“That’s my girl.”

Her hips stuttered against my thigh, her nails digging into my shoulders as she fought to hold on to the rhythm.

“I’m close,” she gasped. “Sawyer, I’m so close.”

“I know, baby.” I slipped one hand between us and found her clit, rubbing firm circles while she continued to ride my thigh. My other hand stayed tight on her hip, guiding her.

“Sawyer. Baby. Fuck.”

“You’re doing so good for me,” I murmured. “Looking so pretty riding my thigh. Are you going to come all over me, baby?”

“Sawy—”

My name broke apart on her lips as her whole body tightened against mine. A shattered cry tore from her as she came, her hips grinding helplessly against my thigh.

I held her steady while she shook, whispering praise against her ear.

“That’s it. Such a good girl for me. You looked so pretty getting yourself off on me, baby.”

Her movements slowed until she finally sagged against me, breathless and trembling. I wrapped both arms around her and held her while the water poured over us.

“Holy shit,” she whispered into my neck.

I laughed softly and kissed her temple. “You okay?”

She nodded, still clinging to me. “More than okay.”

For a few moments, neither of us moved. I ran my hands slowly over her back while her breathing settled, the urgency between us fading into something warm and quiet.

Eventually, she rested her forehead against my chest, listening to my breathing before pulling back.

“Turn around,” she said gently.

I blinked. “Why?”

“Because I want to wash your hair.”

Something in my chest softened.

I turned, and her fingers worked shampoo into my hair, her nails lightly scraping my scalp. My eyes closed as the last of the tension left my shoulders.

“That feels so good,” I whispered.

“You’re always taking care of me,” she said quietly. “Let me take care of you, too.”

I leaned back against her without thinking.

“I like you like this,” she murmured. “Soft. Quiet.”

My heart thudded harder against my ribs.

She guided me beneath the water and carefully rinsed the shampoo from my hair. When she finished, her arms wrapped around my waist from behind.

We stayed there until the water began to cool.

Just warmth. Just us.

After the shower, we made coffee while sunlight stretched across the kitchen floor. Addison came out wearing my hoodie and a pair of sleep shorts, her damp hair loose around her shoulders and her cheeks still flushed from the heat.

The sight of her like that felt unfair.

I handed her a mug and kissed her temple. “Want to watch an episode before we load up the bike?”

“Definitely.”

We curled up on the couch with our legs tangled, mugs warm between our hands.

“How are we getting our bags on the bike?” she asked.

“Saddlebags. I put them on yesterday.”

She smiled. “You planned ahead.”

“I’ve been planning all week.”

She leaned closer until her forehead rested against mine. “I’m really glad I said yes.”

“Me too.”

Buffy played quietly in the background, though neither of us paid much attention. Her fingers traced slow circles beneath my t-shirt while I kissed her cheek, then her jaw, then the spot below her ear.

“You keep doing that,” she murmured, “and we’re never leaving.”

“Maybe that’s the plan.”

She laughed softly and melted into me anyway.

By the time we left around eleven, the sky was clear and bright. Summer still lingered, but the cool air carried the first hint of autumn.

Our luggage fit easily into the saddlebags, Addison slipped on my jacket like it belonged there.

I stared a second too long.

“You like me in your clothes,” she teased.

“Obviously.”

The ride was slow and scenic. Her arms wrapped around my waist and her fingers tucked beneath my jacket.

We stopped once, for coffee by the water and again at a scenic overlook where the wind tangled her hair while I kissed her, slow and unhurried.

By the time we rolled into Mystic the world felt smaller and quieter.

The house was perfect. A pale blue Victorian with a wraparound porch and hydrangeas lining the walkway. Inside, sunlight stretched across the hardwood floors, and the bedroom felt private and inviting.

Addison turned slowly in the middle of the room, taking it all in.“Holy shit,” she said softly.

I watched her with a smile, “Don’t you sell houses nicer than this on the daily?” I teased.

“Yes, but we’re staying here. Just all.” She said with the biggest smile on her face.

A sea breeze drifted through the open windows, carrying the faint scent of saltwater inside. Addison crossed to the window and looked out toward the water before turning back to me.

“We’ve got the whole weekend,” I said

“We do.” She looked at me for a second, really looked at me, and whatever she found seemed to settle something inside her.

A slow smile spread across her face.

“No work.”

“No work,” I agreed.

“No wedding stuff.” She beamed.

“No wedding stuff.”

“No rushing off somewhere in a few hours.”

I slid my hands into my pockets and shook my head. “Nope.”

Addison laughed softly and closed the distance between us. “I’ve been looking forward to this all week.”

My chest tightened. “Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

I leaned down and kissed her forehead. “Good.”

“And I plan to enjoy every second.” She smiled against my shoulder as she wrapped her arms around my waist.
