Three Months Later

“A y e , s t o p t r y n a peek, Tae. Damn.”

“I’m not!” She laughed beside me, all giggling and shit, with the blindfold shifted a little as she adjusted in the passenger seat. “Where the hell are we going?” she asked, voice light, playful.

“You ask too many questions,” I smirked, glancing over quickly before putting my eyes back on the road. “Just relax. You’ll see in a minute.”

She crossed her arms, fake-pouting like she wasn’t loving every second of it. “You know I hate surprises.”

“Nah, you love this shit. Every week, I surprise yo’ ass wit’ some different type of flowers.”

“That’s different.” Her laugh echoed through the car, and I couldn’t help but smile to myself, one hand on the wheel, the other resting across her thigh. It was the type of day that made all the long nights worth it.

These last three months had been crazy for a nigga.

I’d been grinding for real. When I wasn’t driving the school bus or doing deliveries for QuickieDrop, my ass was on the HandyHands app.

It was an app for tasks like furniture assembly, TV mounting, and heavy lifting and shit.

I did a little of everything, and the money came in like crazy.

Most of my free time was spent with Taelyn. We weren’t officially together, but damn if it didn’t feel like we were locked in. We vibed heavy, and her pussy was really undefeated too, but it was more than that. It was her energy I fucked with, and I liked having her around.

I turned down a quiet block out in the ‘burbs. It was away from the noise in the city, and I loved that shit. Big ass houses with grass greener than a mahfucka. I slowed in front of the house and turned off the engine.

“Aight,” I said, putting the car in park. “Stay still.”

“I swear, Ahmad… if this is one of your little…”

“Shut yo’ impatient ass up,” I leaned in and kissed her cheek, then climbed out and came around to her side. I opened the door and helped her out. She held onto my arm like her life depended on it. “You ready?”

“Finally.”

I slid the blindfold off, and she blinked fast as her eyes adjusted to the sun, her mouth already parting. It took her a second to process it.

“This… Ahmad…” she whispered. “What is this?”

I couldn’t stop smiling. “My shit,” I said proudly. “You know I been grindin’ and hustlin’ for a minute now. I finally copped this shit. Originally, I wanted a two family but the steal on this couldn’t be passed up. So, I’ma stack some more, get another one for my mama and shit.”

Her eyes watered. “Ahmad…”

“Damn. You all emotional like I said you was movin’ in wit’ me.” I joked.

She wiped at her face with the back of her hand, then smacked my arm. “Shut up! I’m just… damn, you really did it.”

I laughed, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her close. “You proud of me?” I asked, knowing I didn’t need the validation, but still wanting it from her.

She looked up at me with her smile wide. “Hell yeah, I’m proud of you, babe! This is huge. All the late nights and early mornings paid off.”

I nodded, kissing her forehead. “‘Ppreciate you, baby. Lemme show you the inside.” She bit her lip, trying not to smile too hard, but it was no use. I pulled out the keys and unlocked the door, then pushed it open and waved her in. “Go on,” I said, grinning.

She stepped in, eyes scanning everything—the bare walls, new hardwood floors, tall ass ceilings, and the sunlight pouring through the big windows in the living room. “Ahmad…” she whispered again, damn near breathless. “This shit is beautiful.”

It wasn’t fully furnished yet, just a few pieces like a sectional, a mounted TV that I hadn’t even peeled the plastic off of yet, and a brand new table still in the box in the dining area.

I wanted to put my own touches on everything, piece by piece, with Taelyn to bring that shit together just right.

But even without all the extras that were delivered the night before, you could feel the grind and the peace that birthed this shit.

“Didn’t wanna tell you ‘til it was official,” I said, locking the door behind us and setting the keys on the entry table. “Had to make sure my name was on everything. Paperwork legit and shit.”

She turned to me, smiling so damn hard it made me feel that shit in my chest. “Ahmad,” she said again, arms sliding around my waist. “I’m so fucking happy for you. Like… really. This is big.”

I held her, pressing a kiss to her temple. “I know a nigga been busy, but I appreciate you rockin’ wit’ me and just by bein’ who you are.”

She rested her head on my chest. “I wasn’t expecting this. I thought we were going to brunch or something.”

I chuckled, rubbing her lower back. “We can still do that in a few.” We walked through the place together, and I showed off the kitchen with all-white cabinets, black countertops, and new stainless steel appliances.

Then upstairs to the four bedrooms and stood in the main bedroom.

“I’ma need yo’ decoratin’ skills in this mahfucka,” I said, standing behind Taelyn, arms looped around her waist. “I can already see it.”

“You did that, Ahmad. For real,” she whispered. “You got your own house now.”

“Yeah, you got a second spot to leave yo’ tooth brush and sexy ass panties.”

She looked up at me, a grin teasing the corner of her mouth. “You being all sentimental now?”

“Nah,” I smirked. “I’m tryna be real. I fuck wit’ you. Been fuckin’ wit’ you. You grown, got yo’ own shit together, and you don’t bring me no drama. You make me laugh, you know how to act, and the sex? Fuck.”

She cracked up, smacking my chest. “Boy, shut up!”

“I’m deadass,” I said, pulling her closer. “I’m serious ‘bout you. Just keep bein’ who you are, and I’ma keep givin’ you what you deserve. Love, dick, and everything else.”

She got quiet, and after a few moments, she uttered, “I’m not going nowhere,” she said after a beat. “You know that, right?”

I nodded, brushing her lips with mine. “I know.”

“You better.”

We made our way back downstairs to the living room, and I stood there looking at her lips, then her body in that fly ass orange sundress and heels.

I wasn’t waiting for no damn candles or a playlist. Fuck all that.

Nah. I needed to feel her. Right the fuck now.

My mouth crashed into hers before she could say another word, and she moaned into it like she’d been waiting on me to get back on demon time.

I walked her backwards until she hit the sectional, lips still locked, my hands already up the back of her shirt. She pulled back for air, breathless. “Ahmad… wait, what happened to brunch?”

I smirked. “I gotchu. Take that shit off.”

Taelyn looked at me with that teasing ass grin, but she didn’t hesitate. She immediately started pulling off her panties while I dropped my cargo shorts. My dick pressed against my boxer briefs hard as fuck as I watched her lay back and spread her legs.

“Turn around,” I growled. “Bend that ass over the couch, mamas.” She looked back, smirking, and I stepped behind her, palming her ass. “This the christenin’, baby.”

She bit her lip, bending over the couch arm slowly, arching just right. That fat ass sitting crazy. I reached between her legs to feel her pussy already soaked.

“Damn,” I muttered, fingers slick with her pussy juices. “Pussy stay ready for a nigga.”

“For you? Always.” I slid in deep. “Fuuuck,” she cried out, nails gripping the couch as I bottomed out inside her.

“Fuck, baby,” I grunted, dick drilling her, ass clapping against my thighs. “This my shit. I’ma fuck you all up and through this mahfucka.”

“Y-yes, Ahmad…fuuucckkk!”

Taelyn threw it back, meeting every stroke like a pro. I reached around, pinched her nipple, then the other. She moaned louder, body trembling as I kept going deep and rough, fucking her like the freak she was.

“Fuck, Ahmad! I’m cummingggg!”

“Lemme feel that shit,” I groaned, losing it right behind her, flooding her from the inside while she screamed and screamed my name. Pulling out, her body trembled as she tried to stand up, but I caught her, chest to her back. “You good, mamas?” I asked, kissing her neck, still inside her.

She nodded, barely able to speak. “More than good.”

We slid into a cuddling position, her laying across my chest as I stroked her hip and watched the ceiling. She snuggled into me with a soft little sigh. “You still owe me food, nasty.”

I chuckled. “I gotchu, baby.” She didn’t say anything. She just smiled and kissed my chest. I stared up at the ceiling, feeling peace like I hadn’t felt in years.

Taelyn’s loyalty was the shit. Her energy, her grown-woman vibe, the way she handled me and let me handle her…

yeah. I might as well cuff it. She ain’t going nowhere.

And the craziest part was that all this started from one delivery.

A special one. I smirked to myself, sliding my hand down her back as she breathed softly against me.

I was definitely the one who had what she needed.
