Chapter 30 #3

The venom magnified each stroke of Vesryn’s fingers until sensation crowded out breath and thought. The chamber fell away as Serenna chased his hand, driving into his palm. Her body tightened around emptiness, aching for the depth he held just beyond reach.

Vesryn, the tormentor he was, drew it out. A slow circle. A firmer sweep. Pressure gathered while the absence inside her sharpened.

Serenna’s sight frayed as she focused on the prince—the strain in his throat, his mouth drawn tight, the muscles across his abdomen contracting whenever she trembled.

“Please,” she gasped. “I need…”

The rest dissolved on her tongue as Vesryn slid two fingers inside her.

Relief struck with a violence of its own. Serenna cried out, arching from Fenn’s chest as she clenched around Vesryn’s fingers and drove her hips forward to take them deeper.

Fenn snarled at the curve of her neck. His talons pricked her skin, his hips surging against her.

Vesryn’s breath escaped in a hiss. Every thrust of his fingers conspired with the venom—the drag, the pressure, the heel of his palm unforgiving against her center.

His free hand locked around her waist hard enough to leave marks while the other found the place that cinched her body around his touch.

Serenna refused to break alone. She plunged both hands through the water, one wrapping around Vesryn’s rigid length, the other twisting behind her until Fenn filled her grip.

“Stars slay me,” Fenn groaned.

Vesryn’s rhythm faltered.

Then his mouth crashed into hers.

She met him with tongue and teeth as his fingers pushed deeper, her moan fraying into the kiss.

Fenn sealed his lips over the punctures, his tongue stroking the tender skin between them.

Her grip tightened around both males. Vesryn drove into one fist while his fingers worked inside her. Behind her, Fenn thrust into the other, his growl vibrating against her throat. Their bodies churned the water into waves that slapped the stone.

“Vesryn—” His name fractured around the kiss.

His thumb bore down as the fingers inside her curled, finding the angle that locked her thighs around his wrist. Venom scorched through her blood, turning each stroke merciless until pleasure wound beyond endurance.

Serenna came with a cry Vesryn swallowed. Her body clamped around his fingers, her grip locking around both males. Her back arched from Fenn’s chest, hips bucking hard against Vesryn’s palm.

Then the bonds struck back, blazing white with their releases. The force tore through Serenna before her own had ebbed, wringing another convulsive cry from her.

Vesryn lost control first. His groan shuddered into the kiss, his length pulsing hard in her fist.

Fenn followed. His snarl raked across the punctures at her neck. He bowed over her shoulders, his length jerking in her hand while his arms drew her tight against his chest.

Their pleasure crossed and recrossed through the bond until Serenna didn’t know which body trembled. Her hands stayed wrapped around them both while the final spasms spent themselves.

Vesryn’s mouth remained on hers as the world held only the three of them. The pool settled, violet ripples smoothing to glass beneath the steam.

Somewhere above, the mountain carried on. Down here, the cavern kept only the sound of three people remembering how to breathe.

The kiss softened before Vesryn withdrew. He rested his forehead against hers, each ragged exhale warming her lips.

Fenn held her against the uneven rise and fall of his chest, one arm cinched around her waist. His fingers traced from her throat to her chin before he turned her face toward him and his mouth claimed hers.

Serenna kissed him back through the haze, his smile curving against her lips as the last tremors faded through them.

She let her head fall back against Fenn’s shoulder as her hands dropped away from both males. “I can’t feel my legs.”

Fenn huffed a quiet laugh into the curve of her neck. “That’s the venom.”

“It’s not only the venom,” Vesryn muttered.

Fenn chuckled, tucking a soaked strand of hair behind her ear. “You earned that one.”

“That makes you behind,” Vesryn said. He lowered his mouth to her breast, his tongue circling her nipple.

Fenn’s palm closed over Serenna’s other side, his thumb stroking until a fresh wave of heat gathered low. Vesryn’s desire drew taut through one bond while Fenn’s beat through the other, pulling her body toward them again.

Footsteps echoed through the passage, closing on the cavern.

Vesryn’s mouth went still. Fenn’s thumb halted.

“I doubt they’d want to join,” Fenn mumbled. His claw lingered against her chest before sliding away.

Vesryn leveled a murderous look at him and moved through the water until half the pool lay between them. “They’re not invited.”

Fenn grinned. “Relax, princeling. I know you’ve hit your limit.” He leaned back and draped both arms along the stone lip, sprawling under Vesryn’s glare.

Across the water, Vesryn met Serenna’s eyes. His breathing remained uneven, but satisfaction warmed the bond as one corner of his mouth lifted.

She eased away from Fenn and sank lower into the pool, letting violet water and rising steam conceal the flush lingering across her skin.
