Chapter 6 Darci

SIX

DARCI

“Oh my god,” I murmur for the fourth time since we finished, still sleepy and blissed out while we cuddle in the afterglow.

“We should be the ones praising you as god, baby,” Milo rasps. “You’re incredible.”

“And I want you again already.” Ryan trails open-mouthed kisses along my throat, revived after I languidly kissed him back to life.

“Am I going to be covered in hickeys when I look in the mirror?” I tease.

Ryan hums affirmatively. “Gonna mark you as mine.”

“And mine,” Milo adds, nipping at my shoulder before soothing his tongue across the spot.

I arch with a sigh. “Anything you give me, I’m giving both of you.”

“Fine by me. We’re yours. Mark us all you want,” Ryan says. “Once we’ve caught our breath, round two is on.”

“This time I’m fucking her,” Milo decides.

I sit up. “This is more than just tonight, right?”

Ryan props himself on his elbow and caresses my side. “Definitely. One night would never be enough. I like you.”

“We both do,” Milo adds.

“Good.” My shoulders relax. “I’m glad I wasn’t the only one feeling it. I finally got you to notice me after flirting with you every chance in class and coming to all your games.”

Ryan ducks his head and Milo ruffles his hair.

“The only thing he’s good at noticing is a puck to chase down. I told him you were into him. He didn’t believe me.”

Ryan bats Milo’s hand away. “Just for telling her that, I might keep her to myself for the rest of the night.”

Milo smirks. “You can try. Don’t forget how well I know you. We’re a team. That means I know all your strengths and your weaknesses. Like where you’re ticklish.”

“No fighting. You have to share.” I twirl a lock of hair around my finger and laugh. “Just kidding, keep going. A girl loves to be fought over and won.”

Ryan makes a thoughtful sound as he pulls me against him and traces patterns on my skin, asking Milo, “Is that why you were always looking at me?”

Milo appears caught out. “You knew that? I thought I was being pretty good at checking you out discreetly because if I’m being honest, I’ve always had a thing for you. I didn’t want to make it awkward for you by checking you out if you weren’t into guys, too. I couldn’t mess up our friendship.”

Ryan shrugs. “Even if I wasn’t, I would’ve been cool about it. There’s no helping who you like. It’s natural.”

Milo smiles and hums in agreement. I chime in, dropping a kiss on Ryan’s chest.

“The thing is, I have thought about you before,” he continues.

Milo stills in surprise. “You have?”

Ryan nods. “I don’t think I realized I liked guys because I’ve been so wrapped up in girls. Being shy as hell in social situations doesn’t help, either. But it’s probably always been there in the athletes I look up to, or the movies I’ve watched, or the friends I’ve gravitated towards.”

“Like you don’t know if you want to be them or be with them,” I murmur supportively. “Once I figured out I was bi, I was like, oh, wow. That’s what that feeling is.”

“Yeah,” he agrees, embracing me tighter gratefully. “That’s exactly what it’s like understanding that you like both. But you, Milo? You’ve always been this magnetic pull I’m constantly aware of that makes me want to be around you as much as possible. So, yeah. I’ve thought about you.”

“Damn. We’re both idiots,” Milo says.

Ryan chuckles. “Maybe.”

“What am I going to do with you two?” I shake my head with a wry grin. “You’re a couple of bi disasters.”

“Clearly we’re a mess without you.” Ryan kisses the top of my head.

We work well together. Our energy matches each other in a way that fits.

“So, we’re dating,” Milo clarifies. “As in, all three of us together.”

“Yes.” I move to sit on his lap, looping my arms around his neck while Ryan shifts closer next to us. “You and me. Ryan and you. Me and Ryan. One hot little bi trio of people who are super into each other.”

Milo chuckles and nuzzles into my neck. “I like the sound of that.”

“Me too.” Ryan guides my chin with his fingers to kiss me, slow and sweet. When we part, he kisses Milo, then pulls back with a smile. “We’re winging it.”
