Top Five #2
He didn’t need the gang. He had a brotherhood already. He just had to sit fucking tight. Now he was knee deep in the bullshit, enforcing the trap, and doing the count, since his brainiac ass was a numbers whiz.
He left me to close and lock the door and went to the back, where Fredo and Slime were. G, Slime’s brother, and Fade were bagging shit up at the table. Pook was at the stove, per usual.
“I’ma make a run. Hold it down.”
G stood, nodded, and went to the back to relay the message to Fredo.
Everyone in Set’s crew was young as fuck; me and Fredo were the oldest, at fourteen.
G and Slime were the youngest at eleven.
But we put in hella work, and brought in more money than grown niggas serving for Tiny, but we had to. We had to be on point.
I didn’t realize how much Set was saving us when he told us we were gonna be up under him. Not until that first hit came in, and Set took us with him. Until I seen Set really was pulling punches with me, and he could have did me way worse.
I mean, I would have still won. I’m that nigga with my fists. But he a problem, fasho. And fought dirty if need be.
None of us wanted Tiny to give him that order. So it was known, if you was young and wanted to serve, you better get in Set’s crew, and you better not slack, school be damned.
I left out, making sure I heard the locks behind me before I made it back outside. Tiny’s Ford Expedition was idling on the curb. I hopped in the passenger seat, and she peeled off before I could get the door closed.
“You’ve been putting in major work, Rico. Or do you go by Luney?”
I grabbed my hammer from behind me and placed it on my lap before shrugging. “Whatever you wanna call me, chiquita.”
She hid her blush as she maneuvered through traffic. “That Spanish shit be working on them other bitches?”
I licked my lips and kept my gaze on her. “It works on whoever I want it to work on.”
“No sabrías qué hacer con una puta como yo,” she smirked. (You wouldn't know what to do with a bitch like me.)
“Pero sé que quieres mi polla, así que ?acaso importa?” (But I know you want my dick, so does it matter?)
She laughed out loud as we pulled in front of a house on the border of the Birch Baby territory. “You’re a cocky lil’ nigga, Luney. I’ll give you that.”
I glanced out the window. “Why we here?”
She shrugged as she opened her door to hop out. “I’m breaking up with my nigga.”
I shook my head. This bitch was wild.
But I still followed her right into the house, where we heard sounds of sex were immediately heard.
Tiny scoffed, taking out her glock and screwing a silencer on it.
I walked behind her as she went straight to the back room. Right when she was about to open the door, I stopped her, and moved her behind me.
I signaled a countdown with my hand, before kicking the door open.
Right away, she emptied half her clip into the woman who was riding the nigga to oblivion.
“What the fuck?! Tiny?!” The nigga sat up immediately with his hands up, his eyes going between us and his gun left carelessly on the nightstand.
I made note to keep my shit within arms distance at all times.
“Now why you dumping me again?”
“Because you fuckin’ crazy! Look at the shit you doing?! I’m thinking you nice and wholesome and you a drug dealer! I’on want no parts!”
Tiny’s arm fell to her side, and her shoulders hunched over.
Never wanting to see a lady upset, I wrapped my arm around her chest and pulled her to mine. Tiny lived up to her name, not even reaching my chin.
“Fuck it,” I said, raising my arm. One to the chest, then another to his forehead.
We spedwalked to her car and sped off, driving all through South Kenton before she finally pulled up in front of the Birch.
“Why did you do that?” she asked. She’d been quiet the whole drive, not even turning on the radio.
“The shit you into, you can’t fuck with no square,” I said, sidestepping her question. “You over the whole Birch, and got a legion of niggas putting in work and answering to you. The next time you fuck with a nigga, make sure he gets that and everything that come with it.”
She sighed, and took off her silencer. “Yeah, I guess you’re right.”
I tucked my piece into my back again and opened the door.
Her hand grabbed my arm before I could get out, and when I looked back, lust overtook her eyes.
Before she could get the words out, I smirked. “Never eat where you shit, chiquita.”
She smiled sheepishly, and nodded, letting me go.
If Tiny wasn’t off limits before, she for sure was after I bodied her now ex.
I wouldn’t have been Pooh’s son if I played with fire like that, especially when I had my own shit going.
I made my way to Tower One, and climbed the four flights to Kisha’s floor.
She was right off the stairwell, and three bangs to her door had her unlocking all them damn locks and pulling me into her crib.
“Damn,” I whispered, circling my arms around her.
Kisha was short like Tiny, but had real curves. Titties spilling out her tight ass wifebeater, and shorts her ass ate up. She smiled, showing a front gap that she rocked well, and I still couldn’t believe I pulled her.
After she fed me and did my hair, I put her to sleep. As she snored in her bed, I logged onto my MyRoom on her computer.
The first thing I saw was that Ice Princess commented on my latest picture. She’d added me right after I requested to be her friend, and we’d been liking pictures, but this was the first time she commented.
I like the plaits better than the cornrows.
I chuckled, glancing behind me to make sure Kisha didn’t see.
I liked her comment before going on her page.
She’d gotten a W cornrowed into her hair, and posted a picture of it.
The song on her page changed, too. It was Hyphy by Federation, and I wondered how a girl like her even heard of that song.
I liked her new picture and commented, asking her what the W stood for.
Less than a minute later, I had a message in a new chat.
Ice Princess: My real name is Wynter.
BB Luney: lol dass cute .
Ice Princess: Whats urs?
BB Luney: u aint earned dat yet .
Ice Princess: *rolls eyes*
I grinned again before I signed out.
Wynter, the Ice Princess. My earlier words played in my head. She fasho don’t know shit about the Birch or what I be up to. A real sadity bitch from Raleigh Park.
“You coming to bed?” Kisha asked from behind me.
“Nah,” I said, standing and grabbing my hoodie from the floor. “Run me back to my brother.”
I had follow my own advice and stick to what I knew, and that wasn’t a certain redhead whose pictures I loved to look at when no one was looking.
