Stay Inside
Blurb
It starts late on a Friday night.
Gabe is in his third-floor apartment, half-watching a documentary and finishing some work, when the first signs of trouble appear. Sirens.
Confused messages. Violence downstairs. Reports that don’t make sense.
Then the city tells everyone to stay inside.
Gabe isn’t a soldier, a cop, or a survivalist. He’s an ordinary man with an apartment, limited supplies, and enough sense to realize that running outside may be the worst thing he can do.
So he locks the door. Charges his phone. Packs what he might need. And stays inside.
But as the violence reaches his building—and then his floor—staying put becomes a decision he may have to defend.
