Chapter 7 Steel
“Fuck! Shit! Oh my God!”
Tiffany’s screams echoed off the walls of my loft as I pounded her from behind.
It had been a minute since I’d kicked it here.
I kept the lights on and the bills paid.
Twice a month, I paid a service to clean and dust the place for me.
I hadn’t had a reason to be here, but tonight, I needed to relieve some stress.
By that, I meant I needed some pussy.
It had been too long since I slid up in anything, and if I couldn’t shake the anger I felt away, I’d fuck it away.
Tiffany was an old link from before Donna, number three in my top five contenders with the best pussy.
When I hit her line, I wasn’t sure if she still had the same number.
Then that familiar sultry voice came through the speaker.
I didn’t sugarcoat what I needed from her, and she didn’t hesitate to pull up on me. I’d gotten to the loft about ten, and ten fifteen, she was knocking on the door. When I opened it, she was dressed in a trench coat, heels, and some sexy ass lingerie beneath it, looking good enough to eat.
Two minutes later, I had her face down, ass up in my bed, pounding her from the back.
“Ooo shit! Ooo fuck, daddy! Beat this pussy up!”
Tiffany threw that ass back at me, matching me stroke for stroke.
“Fuck, Tiff! Your shit always been this wet?”
“Only for you, baby. Shit! I missed you!”
“I missed you too.” I slapped her ass, watching it ripple. “I missed this pussy too. Show me how much you missed this dick. Wet my shit up.”
She propped herself up and threw her ass back, riding me as I stood back watching that ass clapping against my thighs.
“That’s it,” I praised her. “Ride that shit, just like that, . . . fuck!”
“I’m about to cum, daddy! Oooo shit, you’re gonna make me—fuck!”
I felt her walls tighten around my dick and her pussy release around me. Her cumming pulled my own orgasm to the forefront, and the next thing I knew, I was painting the inside of the condom.
“Shit!”
I steadied myself as the rest of my seeds drained from my dick.
Tiffany slid off me and collapsed against the bed.
“Damn, I missed you,” she said, panting. “I’ve been needing you to fuck me like that.”
I chuckled. “I needed that shit too.”
Disappearing into the bathroom, I removed the condom and flushed it down the toilet. Grabbing a washcloth, I turned on the hot water so I could clean myself up. When I was done, I went back out to clean up Tiffany. She was flat on her back, and when she saw me, she spread her legs for me.
“You sure you wanna clean me up so quick? I have another round in me.”
“I need to get home to my son.”
“You did have a baby on me,” she said, rolling her eyes.
“I didn’t have a baby on you. That would imply that we were a couple, and we’ve never been more than this.”
She rolled her eyes. “You know what I mean. You wanted to start a family and cut me off.”
“Priorities.” I finished cleaning her up and headed for the bathroom. “You can see yourself out.”
“Wait,” she called. I turned around. “When can I see you again?”
“I’ll call you. Good night, Tiff.”
I went into the bathroom and closed the door, then turned on the shower.
After waiting a moment for the temperature to adjust, I stepped in and under the showerhead.
With my head down, I allowed the water to engulf me.
I took a few deep breaths, trying to hold it together.
Even good pussy couldn’t shake the anger I was feeling.
I have a daughter.
A ten-year-old daughter that I never knew anything about. This shit couldn’t be real. For the last two days, I’d been sitting on this information. Other than Jaeda, nobody knew. I didn’t even know how to tell my family this shit.
Then there was Neha.
How the hell could she keep something like this a secret for so long? Did nobody in her family think to tell her she was wrong? Did nobody try to convince her to tell me? I guess it was fuck Kerrion. She left school and left me behind too.
I was regretting not asking my sister to find her sooner.
Back then, that breakup had me acting like a bitch in my feelings.
After chasing her for weeks, I gave up. I stopped fighting for her after she told me she couldn’t love me.
What difference would it have made if I’d continued to chase her?
Knowing now what I didn’t know then, . .
. it would have made a world of difference.
She had my kid.
My beautiful little girl.
I thought back to sitting outside with her the day I found out. She was asking me so many questions.
“You really didn’t know about me?”
I shook my head. “No, I didn’t. If I did, there wouldn’t have been a day that I wasn’t here for you.”
“Did you want to be a daddy back then?”
“Yes. I love kids. I’ve always wanted a family of my own.
” I chuckled. “I wanted like five or six kids, just like your grandfather. Your brother is my entire world. Having him has been my greatest joy. I would have loved to be there for you, Nayelli. Even though I was young, you would have been my main priority. There’s nothing I wouldn’t give to have that time back with you. ”
“I always wanted a daddy. My school used to have daddy-daughter dances, and my grandpa would take me. It made me sad seeing the other girls with their dads when I didn’t have one, but Grandpa always made sure we had fun.”
I smiled softly. “If you ever need a date in the future, I’ve got you now.”
Her smile matched mine. “Can you dance?”
“Can I dance? I’ve got moves for days. You don’t wanna see me on the dance floor, baby girl.”
She giggled. “I bet you dance like old people.”
I playfully grabbed my chest. “Now that hurt. You think I’m old?”
She reached out and grabbed my face, turning it from side to side.
“Hmmm, . . . not that old. I don’t see any gray hair.”
I chuckled. “You got jokes. You’ll love your uncle Maceo. He loves to clown people.”
“How many uncles do I have?”
“Four uncles. Well, five now. Five other aunts besides Jaeda.”
“I like her.”
I smiled. “She likes you too.”
“What are the others like?”
“Well, Deuce is the serious one. Maceo is the jokester. Smoke is a big teddy bear. Jaeda is super smart. Smoke, Maceo, and Deuce are all married so that’s three aunts right there.
Then there is my sister, Mia, the sassy one.
Next, there’s Kalia. She’s fifteen and a huge girly girl.
She loves shopping, hair, nails, and clothes. ”
Nayelli’s eyes lit up. “I think I’m gonna like her best.”
I chuckled. “I bet you will.”
She counted on her fingers. “I have two more, right?”
“Yes. There’s Jaiden and Emelie. They are the babies of the bunch.”
“Wow. I’ve never had such a big family.”
“There’s more where they come from. Just wait until you meet them all. You might have trouble remembering everybody’s name.”
“I can’t wait.” She was quiet for a moment as she looked at me. “You really promise to be my daddy?”
I grabbed her hands and kissed them. “On everything I love, I’m gonna be here. Nothing will ever keep me from you again.”
“Fuck!”
I punched the wall in front of me.
How the hell did it come to this?
I sat with my brothers, Quaid, and my cousin Jakobi in Smoke’s backyard.
The kids were with their grandparents, and the girls were inside sipping wine and gossiping as they usually did.
I could hear them scream “Ayyye!” along with whatever music they were listening to.
I really wasn’t feeling being here tonight, yet here I was.
They were all running their mouths about one thing or the other, and I was sitting here nursing a beer and my blunt.
Quaid kept giving me a concerned look.
No doubt he was there when Jaeda found out about Nayelli.
Either that or she’d told him. I wasn’t worried about him saying anything to my brothers.
One thing the nigga did was mind his business and try to keep us out of his.
In this moment, I appreciated that. I was still processing this shit, and I didn’t need my brothers down my back about it.
“What’s up with you?” Smoke asked, puffing on his blunt.
“Ain’t shit,” I answered, lighting mine again.
“You straight? I ain’t ever seen you babysitting a blunt like that, man.”
“I’m good.”
“Why you so quiet?”
“Damn, nigga. I can’t be quiet? A nigga always gotta have something to say?”
He frowned. “Aye, yo. Fix ya fucking attitude and pipe that shit down, big nigga. I was just checking on yo’ punk ass.”
“I ain’t in the mood, Smoke.”
“You can get the fuck up outta here then. We don’t need your sour ass mood bringing down the energy around here.”
I shot him a glare.
“Chill out,” Deuce said. He eyed me curiously. “Seriously though, Steel. You ain’t been yourself. We just wanna know you good.”
“I’m fine. Just tired. My bad, Smoke.”
Smoke stared at me for a moment, before reaching out to dap me up.
I slapped his hand and took a sip of my drink.
The back door opened, and the girls came parading out, each of them finding their way into their man’s lap.
I looked around at the couples, feeling like the odd man out.
Everybody had somebody but me. Times like this made me miss Donna.
We weren’t together, but she would have been right here with the fam, having a good time. The girls loved her, and my brothers treated her like another sister. They shared inside jokes with her, and she’d roast them just like they roasted her. It was all love.
I took another big swig of my drink as Shar stood from Maceo’s lap and clapped her hands.
“I’m glad you’re all here. Maceo and I have some news to share.” She was all smiles as my brother stood to join her. He wrapped his arms around her and cupped her stomach.
“We’re having another baby.”
The girls erupted with cheers.
“That’s why your ass ain’t been drinking!” Salima said.
“All that fucking y’all been doing, it was bound to happen,” Renay said, hugging them both. “Congratulations!”
