Chapter 7 #2
“Since Toni and Steel has been trending lately, I want to go ahead and give my think piece too. I swear I’m not a hater.
I’ll give credit where credit is due. The bitch is tea.
Without a doubt, she’s a ten out of ten.
That blonde pixie cut on her is nastyyyyy, her shape is to die for, even after having that baby, and I like the fact that even though her man is a boss, still the greatest boxer of all time, she still goes out, and she makes her own bag.
She’s an English professor, I know that she’s an author to some successful books, and I know that she owns a few rental properties as well,” this crazy bitch started her video out, speaking on Toni in a way like she personally knew my fiancé.
This was the reason I was so strict when it came to posting my kids on the internet.
Another reason I wasn’t quick to jump on the bandwagon of filming a reality show, leading up to our wedding.
That shit that they say about monitoring spirits were real, and I hated the feeling of strangers speaking on me, or my loved ones as if they personally knew us.
“So yeah, the bitch is tea no lie, but I agree with what the other women are saying. Isn’t it crazy that she gets to get this perfect life, with this perfect man, but it had to come at the expense of Steel’s first wife getting killed?
Sapphire has to be rolling over in her grave, you know?
Another bitch is out here fuckin your man and raising your kid.
If you go on Toni’s profile, you will really think that Steel’s son is biologically her son because of the way that she carries on.
I’m all for her taking on that step mom role, and loving his son, but I don’t know, would she have been playing her role like that if she wasn’t getting ready to marry the retired, heavy weight champ?
” the bitch just kept on going, and if this shit was making me mad, it made all the sense in the world why it would make Toni angry, and have her crying the way she was.
“Then, you know it’s rumored that there working with BET because their supposed to be doing a reality show that’s surrounding the events leading up to their wedding.
Did ya’ll see the damn proposal? This man proposed to her on Fisher Island!
Like, thee Fisher Island! The one that you have to literally rent out in order to step foot on that property.
Everything with them just seems so grand, and a way to brag on social media.
Let’s not forget the Rolls Royce that he got for her last year for her birthday.
The two of them weren’t even together for a whole year at that time, and he still broke the bank for her, and purchased her a six-figure car!
I don’t know ya’ll. The love don’t seem genuine to me.
I’ve been following Steel for a while, and to me, he just looked much happier with Sapphire.
When he was with her, everything wasn’t so grand and thrown in your face.
I give it about a year. Tell me in the comments what ya’ll think,” her dusty ass eventually finished.
She sat her ugly ass there on social media and ranted on my fiancé for well over five minutes. I went through the comments, and it was other birds in the comments that were agreeing with her dumb ass too.
I tossed Toni’s phone on the nightstand, and I looked down at her, hating that she got in her feelings about this shit, and that she’d allowed it to make her sad.
“The more I love you, the more these hoes going to hate you. You can’t let a bunch of miserable ass bitches get up under your skin, that would quickly sell their soul if they were in the same room with me, and they got the opportunity to suck my dick.
They would break their necks to swallow my shit.
Them hoes going to speak on you because they ain’t you.
They want to be you. They hate you because of the things that I do for you,” I started, about to get in her chest, and tell her the real on why they couldn’t stand her.
“They don’t like the fact that I had you hire a wedding planner, and I told you not to speak on a budget because there wasn’t one.
They hate you because you live a soft life.
They wish they knew what that shit felt like to be put up and not have to pay bills.
They hate you because you gotta show women proof of your pregnant belly because when they see you out in public, nothing about your shape gives that you ever carried a child.
They hate you because when they see you out in public bare face, they can’t sneak and post a picture of you on social media, saying that you don’t look shit like your pictures online because you still do. I can keep going, T,” I went on to say.
I could give her a million other ways how she was shitting on these bitches entire life, which is why they felt the need to get on social media, sit in front of a phone, and talk badly about her.
“I know. I just got in my head. I hate the narrative that their trying to run with about me trying to overplay my part with Zayne. Zion, I love him as if he’s mine.
I love him as if I carried him. I would never fake my love that I have for him all because I want some kind of brownie points from you,” she cried that part to me, with tears dripping down her beautiful face, and she used the back of her hands to try and wipe the tears away.
Toni didn’t have to convince me that she loved my son. I knew she did. The two of them were thick as thieves from the very moment that they met. You couldn’t fake that kind of love.
She had a throw blanket resting on her lap, so I picked it up, tossed it to the side, and as if she was one of my kids, I placed my hands up under her arms, lifting her, and I sat down on the side of the bed, placing her in my lap.
I wiped away whatever left over tears were lingering on her face, and I even kissed her all over her face once the tears were gone and for a second, I just sat here, admiring her side profile, as she sat sideways on me, still trying to get her emotions together.
“Them hoes going to forever hate you, baby. You want me to shoot them?” I asked, and I got her to laugh, while reaching a hand out, and she playfully pushed me.
“How you think they going to feel about you once our wedding pictures make it online? How you think they going to feel when the reality show drops, and they see how fuckin spoiled your ass is, and that I never tell you no? They going to hate your fuckin guts, but so what baby. You can’t let that shit get to you.
I’m right where the fuck I want to be. Ain’t nobody got a bullet to my head making me be here with you.
Shit, if anything, they would have to put a bullet to my head to make me leave you.
You know how I feel about Sapphire. Me and her had a lot of history.
I loved her. With no disrespect to you, I still love her even in death, but she’s no longer here.
I had to accept that, and the world gotta accept that because I’m not going no fuckin where, aight?
” I asked, and she calmed down a little bit, looking at me, and nodding her head, letting me know that she understood.
“Come here. Give me a kiss,” I ushered for her, and she leaned her head in, pecking me on the lips a couple of times, and then we engaged in a passionate tongue kiss.
We kissed for about two minutes straight, and then she eventually pulled away from me. I bounced her as she sat on my lap, and we chose to sit in silence.
A minute into us sitting in silence, her phone started ringing. She reached over, so that she could pick it up, and she showed it to me, letting me see that it was Alecia calling her.
She answered it, and instead of putting the phone to her ear, she chose to put the call on speaker, allowing the phone to sit in her lap.
“Hey baby,” Toni answered the phone for her girl, taking the sadness out of her voice, trying to pretend that she was okay, and wasn’t just sitting on me having a meltdown a few minutes ago.
“Because what’s up? I’ve been seeing the videos, but I chose not to say anything to you because planning a wedding is already stressful, so I didn’t want to bring it up to you, but I just saw one not too long ago, and these hoes going to have to stop playing with you Toni, for real!
Let me know. It’s nothing for me to start drafting cease-and- deists tonight.
A few of those miserable bitches are big content creators.
Baby, it’s nothing for me to find all the brands, platforms, and contracts that they have, and I can have them losing all that shit by tomorrow.
We can make some noise, Toni. What you trying to do?
” Alecia was hype on the other end of the phone, and that shit made me smile because that’s what a real friend was supposed to do.
That’s the energy that I had when it came to anyone that I loved.
“You called me right after I just had a whole meltdown. I can usually handle that shit, but I let it get to me today. I don’t want to give it any energy on social media though because then I’m going to look like I’m bothered, and that I can’t handle the shit that their saying,” Toni voiced, and I could hear Alecia sucking her teeth on the other end of the phone.
“You are bothered tough, Toni. Girl, I’m bothered for you.
Any woman in the world would be bothered right now because their speaking on shit that they don’t know anything about.
Didn’t Steel just purchase you another investment property early this month, that you never posted on social media?
Toni, post that shit right now on Instagram, and I’m being dead ass serious.
Make them hoes sick to their stomachs tonight.
That shopping spree that he just took you on the other day…
show the damage, and the new shit that you got.
The shit that you got on them, you don’t ever have to sit in front of a camera and make a statement back to them.
Show them bitches your stuff Toni. They mad at you because you got stuff.
Post a reel right now and show them your stuff!
” Alecia went on, and I was chuckling in the background because the code switch on her was a motha fucka.
This wasn’t attorney Alecia King right now. This was Alecia from around the way.
“Sis, get on her. I be wanting her to get on social media so bad and pop her shit. I hate when she get on that humble shit because it makes them hoes feel like they can keep trying her. I know my baby not scary, but she just don’t be trying to go at it with the trolls on social media,” I jumped in to let Alecia know.
“Steel, when we hang the phone up, I’m so serious, make her post something on social media.
She gotta shut them bitches up that way.
In the meantime, I’m getting ready to start sending out cease-and-desists.
I need them big content creators to have those brands gone by tomorrow morning.
I need them over there stressing, trying to find out how they going to pay their rent next month,” Alecia finished, and that shit had Toni cracking up, while I sat here, shaking my head, knowing that Alecia was a tough one.
“I got you sis. Ima make her pop it as soon as ya’ll get off the phone,” I let Alecia know.
“What you doing? We need to hang out,” Toni changed the subject, picking the phone up, so that she could talk to her girl. They talked on the phone for about five minutes before they eventually hung up.
I laid back on the bed, and she took that as her cue to lay on top of me.
She put her entire body on top of me, and I used my hands to run them up, and down her soft ass.
She placed kisses all over my face, and when she was done, she allowed her face to linger in front of mine, allowing our foreheads to touch.
“Lani would have been ready to beat your ass if she was up, and she saw you lying on me like this,” I voiced, and she chuckled, knowing that I was telling the truth.
“Ima come off my pills after we get married, in hopes that I’ll have a son,” she voiced, and I rolled my eyes up in my head, pulling one of her moves. I did that because I knew that her ass was lying.
She only said that shit because it sounded good.
Toni had about five different alarms set for her to take her birth control.
No lie, at one point, a nigga was a little offended because why you gotta set all those fuckin alarms to remind you not to get caught slipping and have another one of my babies?
When Toni and I first got together, and started fuckin, she was sloppy as hell when it came to taking her pills, so I knew that it wouldn’t be long before we had a baby.
This time, I couldn’t tell you the next time that we would have another child because she was so precautious, doing all the right things, trying to ensure that we didn’t have another one.
“Let’s go in the bathroom and have a quickie,” she voiced, and the second I was getting ready to lift her ass up, Zaylani started crying.
Toni groaned, and she rolled off me, so that I could sit up, reach for our daughter, and I laid her on top of me.
“I got you tonight when she goes back to sleep. In the meantime, hop on social media, and post your stuff like your girl told you. Pop it. If you don’t do it, Ima get on my page, post all your new shit, and pop it for you,” I threatened, and she laughed like it was the funniest thing in the world.
I was just glad to see her smiling and laughing. I was glad that she didn’t allow the trolls from social media to set the tone for the rest of the night.
