Chapter 12 #2
“Aye, y'all get out of the way and let my guy and his girl come through!” The bouncer demanded aggressively as people tried to bombard the door while they tried to walk through.
Pretti held his hand tight as they made their way through the door.
When they stepped in, she somehow lost Lunden that fast after she realized he had let her hand go.
“Damn, ma, you sexy as fuck,” a man bumped into her and said. She knew him speaking to her was bad for business, so she dismissed him as nicely as she could.
“I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be rude, but I got a man, and I’m looking for him now,” she said politely.
The guy looked her up and down. “Oh shit, you’re the new West Coast barber chick in town.
I’ve been meaning to stop through and check out your skills.
My bad, ma. You Lunden’s girl too. Ion mean no disrespect.
” The dude walked off, knowing anything that belonged to Lunden was off limits.
His name rang bells in the streets, so he made sure the city knew the new girl in town was his.
When she got deeper into the crowd, she felt someone grab her waist. She turned around quickly, thinking it was another dude, but it was Lunden.
“Who was that nigga you were talking to? I hope you told him you got a nigga,” he bellowed in her ear as he continued to grip her waist tighter than usual.
“Yes, I told him, but he already knew. Where the hell did you go?” she asked with an attitude. She felt that if he didn’t let her hand go, she wouldn’t have gotten caught up with the guy.
“Follow me, and don’t get lost. We’re in the VIP section on the stage.”
As they walked to the stage, a dude with a microphone walked up to Lunden.
“Aye, check and see if it’s on, bro,” the guy told him.
Lunden tapped it slightly.
“Hello, hello? Yeah, this motherfucka on! I’m in this bitch with my nigga Mane for his 30th b-day.
Happy birthday, my guy. We’re about to turn up Harlem style, ya’ dig.
I got my fine ass lady on my arm too. So, if you see her in the streets, know that's me. And if you need a fly ass cut, head over to the new spot in town. Pretti's Barber and Beauty Salon!” Lunden shouted over the microphone like a pro. He had hosted plenty of his homies’ parties, so he knew the protocol.
Be as live on the mic as you can for the audience.
Everyone looked on as Lunden and Pretti stepped on stage. Lunden walked up to the birthday boy and gave him a bear hug. He then handed him a stack of money and a gold chain.
Pretti watched, smiling, as Lunden interacted with his friends and talked on the mic. She had never been to a club in New York, and it was live. All of Lunden and his friends looked like some fly-ass dope boys straight out of an NYC rap video.
Bottle girls came flooding the stage with bottles of Clicquot and D’usse. One of the girls passed her a bottle, and she wasted no time popping it. Ever since her first drink of champagne with Dexz on her eighteenth birthday, she had been addicted to the bittersweet drink.
She reached on the table behind her for a champagne glass and poured herself a drink. Lunden drank D’usse straight from the bottle and felt himself completely.
He slid her onto his lap when they sat on the white leather VIP couches and had her sit there most of the night. He didn’t want anybody even thinking they had a chance with her.
Pretti was tipsy, and the music had her feeling good, so she started grinding her ass on Lunden to the beat of the song. He was getting turned on by the sway in her hips. He was pleased she had rhythm and was being sexy yet classy as she gave him a lap dance.
“I’m makin’ love to you tonight. You too sexy for me not to fuck you, ma,” Lunden uttered near her ear and started placing light kisses on her neck.
She smiled and let his words go over her head. Pretti was getting hot, so she slipped out of her jacket. Lunden draped it over the front of her, took his hand, and slid it under her dress.
He pulled her panties to the side and found her clit. She gasped at the feeling of his fingers playing in her wet peach. She was turned on, especially since that was the first time she had ever been touched sexually by a man.
“Act normal, babe. They are taking pictures.” Lunden uttered as he nibbled on her earlobe, smirking as he watched someone in front of them take a picture.
Pretti couldn't control herself as her climax was building. She couldn't take it and wanted to moan, so she pulled his hand from between her legs.
“I’m going to the bathroom.” She stood up and put on her coat.
“I got that pussy ready. We’re leaving when you come out.” Lunden gently smacked her on the ass as she walked off.
She wove through the crowd and made it to the bathroom. She found an empty stall and walked inside.
When she pulled down her silk thong, she shook her head. Lunden and the liquor had her creaming in her panties. She grabbed a toilet cover and sat down.
As she wiped her panties with a wet wipe from her handbag, she heard a bunch of girls walk into the bathroom.
“Bitch, you said he was here with who?” one of the girls asked as she laughed. Pretti smelled weed and knew they were smoking and about to gossip. She was curious about what they were talking about because she was drunk and being nosy, so she sat on the toilet listening.
“Who is she anyway? I’ve never seen her around the hood,” she heard a girl say.
“Some bitch that owns a barbershop. I guess he’s moving on with her and saying fuck me,” she heard the girl sniffle and shake her head. She immediately knew they were talking about her and Lunden.
“Well, fuck him, bitch. We all know how he is, and he will be running back to you soon. She letting that nigga finger that fishy pussy in the club like nobody can see them. She’s the dumb bitch, nasty ass.
Let's go dance, fuck that nigga and her. He said y’all done, y’all done.
” Pretti heard one of the girls say. Then the door opened, and the bathroom went silent.
Oh my God, people saw us, and this nigga has a girlfriend? she thought.
She shook her head and walked out of the stall, feeling embarrassed. After she washed her hands and walked out, she ran right into Storm.
“Damn, baby love, you looking fly as hell. I like that fur!” Storm said loudly as she hugged Pretti.
“Thank you. That one-piece is banging on you too. Where you been? I’ve been stuck on Lunden’s lap all night. He’s being hella overbearing too, tryna fuck me,” she admitted and leaned against the wall. She decided to skip over what she heard in the bathroom and address Lunden about it.
“I bet he is the way you’re looking. We had to stand in line. I’ve been calling Lunden, and he ain’t been answering to get us in.”
“Well, he thinks he’s about to fuck, so we finna leave. I can walk you over there; there’s still a bunch of liquor left,” Pretti said as they walked through the crowd.
Storm found the rest of her crew, and they all barged into Lunden and his friends’ section. He knew that was his cue to leave because the hoe antics were about to start.
After he said his goodbyes, they left the club.
The car ride was silent. Lunden had powered down a little, and so did Pretti.
She was tired of hearing the sound of his engine roaring as he raced down the highway, so she turned on some R she was afraid of Lunden’s actions. He had been aggressive with her a few times in arguments, so she didn't want him to reach over and slap her for raising her voice.
“She’s my ex, a’ight. She just had an abortion because I told her I was willing to give up everything I had with her to be with you.
I love you, Pretti, and I don’t know how that shit happened, but it did.
One minute, I was in a relationship with somebody people thought was my ride-or-die.
Then you came out here, and I’m with you.
This is big that I left a five-year relationship to be with you.
One day, I’ma marry you, and you gonna have my babies because I don’t just want a baby momma.
