11. Home Cooked #5
"You so perfect, baby. Look at me." She did, eyes up, mouth full, and something about that image alone nearly finished me right there. "That's it…just like that."
She pulled back slow, lips wet, and dragged her tongue up the length of me before swallowing me down again, deeper this time, and I heard myself curse low under my breath, hips rolling up into her without permission from the rest of me.
"I need to be inside you, baby." I damn near cried looking at her.
"Fuck my mouth first," she said, looking up at me, saliva around her mouth.
"Baby—"
"Grab the back of my head and use my mouth the way you want." She demanded.
Her wish was my command. I did exactly what she asked, and when she started to gag, I held her there a second, watching her close, making sure she was good, then pulled her back for a breath.
"My nasty fucking wife." I groaned it out and did it again, watching her watch me the whole time.
I moved in and out of her mouth, slower now.
"Relax your throat, pretty baby. I'm gonna push you further this time…just the way you want me to. You ready?"
"Mmhmm." She hummed her answer around me.
She knew what I was getting her ready for, needed it. I pushed her down to my base and held her there. No gagging. No choking. My eyes teared up watching her take every bit of it like it was nothing at all.
"Fucking proud of you, baby! Shit!" I said, pulling her back as she took a deep breath.
"One more time," she begged.
I didn't argue with her, didn't pretend I didn't want it too. She went back down and I held her there, a damn tear falling, the feeling too good to keep quiet about.
"Ru!" I hollered like a little girl. "Baby!"
She looked so damn beautiful with me in her mouth, so proud of herself, smiled around me before she pulled off.
She gasped, eyes watering, face a mess in the best way.
I kissed her nasty for it, hungry, before picking her up and carrying her to the bed.
Laid her down, crawled up her body, and pushed inside in one long stroke.
We both groaned, foreheads pressed together, eyes locked on each other like neither one of us trusted the moment to be real if we looked away
"Fuck," I breathed. "Ru, fuck-"
"I know." She wrapped her legs around me, heels digging into my ass, pulling me deeper, already soaking me. "Pleasing you was my foreplay."
What I'd learned about my best friend, my wife, was that giving me head alone could send her over without me hardly touching her the way most men need to.
The first time I watched it happen I just about stopped breathing, sat there stupid and amazed, couldn't believe a woman could come apart off nothing but the sound I made and the way I said her name.
That's why I had to cut her off sometimes, slow things down, hold her hips still and make her wait on me.
I wanted to be inside her when she came.
And that night, the way she'd been begging for me to fuck her mouth, I already knew she wasn't gonna last. Fine by me after a 14 hour day.
I started moving, slow at first, then faster, harder, the bed hitting the wall, the apron bunched between us, ridiculous and perfect.
Her nails scored my back, her mouth was open against my shoulder, my neck, anywhere she could reach.
I kissed her to swallow the rest, my hips snapping harder, losing rhythm, losing control.
“I love you” she moaned.
“I love you too.”
Her eyes rolled to the back of her head as I threw her legs over my shoulder, damn near folding her in half.
She was close, I could feel it, her body tightening around me in these little pulses, muscles fluttering, tensing up beneath me like she was fighting to hold onto something that wasn't gonna let her.
"Come on," I growled against her mouth. "Come for me, wife. Come for Daddy."
She started moving below me somehow, fucking me back, her hips finding a rhythm that damn near ended me right there. I gritted my teeth, jaw locked, fighting a losing war against my own body.
"Ahhh!" she screamed, nails dragging a line down my back even harder that I'd feel the next day and be grateful for.
"Greedy ass." I chuckled against her collarbone, chest shaking with it.
She chuckled back, eyes rolling toward the ceiling like she was trying to hold onto something up there, anything to keep from coming apart too soon.
"Look at me when I'm fucking you, Mrs. Aurelia Duckworth."
She tried. Managed maybe two seconds of eye contact before her lids fluttered shut again, that pretty mouth falling open around nothing.
"Daddy, I—" She was erratic below me now, one hand fisting the sheets, the other clawing at my shoulder like she needed an anchor.
"Lemme get it," I growled, right against her ear, and pushed deeper into her, watching every bit of what that did to her face.
She broke apart beneath me, crying out, back arching clean off the bed, and I felt her clench around me the whole room tilted sideways for a second.
I followed her over the edge, burying myself deep and letting go, everything in me unclenching at once, forehead dropping hard to her shoulder, breath ragged against her skin, her heartbeat slamming against my chest like it was trying to climb into mine.
For a long moment we just lay there, tangled and sweating and breathing each other in. Then she laughed, small and breathless, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on my back.
"The apron's still on," she said.
I lifted my head enough to look. She was right. The damn thing was twisted around her waist.
"Leave it," I said, rolling onto my side and pulling her against me. "I like you in uniform."
She laughed, delirious.
"Love you," she whispered.
I kissed her forehead, her temple, the corner of her mouth. "Love you too, wife."
I kissed her deep and then pulled out and rolled over. She burrowed closer, her leg thrown over mine, her hand on my chest.
"We haven't eaten dinner." She was still working on catching her breath.
"Don't know about you." I gave her ass a light slap and got a giggle out of her for it. "But my favorite meal's right here in this bed."
I kissed the top of her head and let us both lie there a minute.
"Never thanked you for this morning, Ru."
She hummed, sleepy. "For what?"
"For starters, you ironed my whites and had them hanging on the closet door before I even got out the shower.
" I ran my hand slow down her back. "Packed my bag too.
Extra apron, the good knife I forgot to bring back Thursday, that little tin of the mints I like that I never remember to buy myself.
Your note telling me to have a good day. "
I felt her smile against my chest.
"And," I said, "you got my mother off the phone this morning before she could get me all worked up before a fourteen hour day. Told her I'd call her back tonight, redirected her into telling you about her garden instead, and I didn't even have to say a word."
"Your mother loves telling somebody about that garden."
"She loves telling you about that garden." I tilted her face up so she'd look at me. "You do a lot for me without me asking, without even giving me the chance to think about it. Man could get used to being taken care of like that."
"Good," she murmured, eyes already drifting shut. "Get used to it."
"Love you." I said it rubbing slow circles into her back, feeling her breathe even out under my palm.
"And thank you for this, baby. This safety…
this love…this support." Her voice had gone thick, the way it does right before somebody's trying not to cry and losing that fight a little.
"We have one hell of a beginning. And for the first time in a long time, I'm excited about how my story's gonna unfold, because I know I'm in a happily ever after with you, Dilly Duck. "
Hearing her say it plain like that did something to me after years of watching her flinch away from words like that. Damn near tried to pull the words out her throat on Valentine's Day, and now here she was, handing them to me easy.
I didn't trust my own voice for a second. Just held her tighter and pressed my mouth to the top of her head, letting the quiet between us say the rest of what I couldn't get out yet.
"Happily ever after," I finally managed, rough. "Never believed in that till now."
"Always knew," she murmured, sleep already pulling her under, "much as I fought it." Her hand went still against my chest. "It was always gonna be you, Ducky."
I laid there a long time after her breathing evened out, after her hand went heavy and slack against me, just holding onto the sound of it.
I'd waited so long to hear her say something like that and mean it all the way down.
Funny how quiet and normal it was now that I finally had it.
No fanfare or fireworks. This was just my life now.
