Chapter 6

“You can understand me?” Stephenie gasped, sliding down from his arms to stand in front of him.

She was surprised at how high she had to look up to meet the creature’s gaze.

“What’s going on?” She gushed. “Where are we? How did I get here? Who are you? I mean, WHAT are you?” She had to pause to catch her breath.

They could COMMUNICATE now! Maybe finally her questions will be answered.

“My Mate,” Ee-rah said again, frowning down at her. “I apologize, it took me so long to figure out the communication between us- I was distracted.” He smiled down at her, his icy, blue eyes taking her in from her toes to the top of her head. He licked his lips.

“Um… Yeah, it’s no problem.” Stephenie wasn’t sure how to respond to that.

They both had been pretty occupied the past couple of hours- or what she thought had been the past couple of hours.

It was hard to tell the time without a watch or the sun in the sky.

She shook her head to clear it, trying to stay focused instead of falling back into the memories of the best sex she had ever had.

Two cocks! The man- creature, alien, whatever- had two cocks!

“Where are we?” She asked again, forcing herself to stay focused on the task at hand: get answers and get home.

“The only habitats in the Milky Way come from my planet…from Earth.” Stephenie mused out loud. Okay, so she was on an alien spacecraft. If she was dreaming, now was certainly the time to wake up.

Wait- that means she just fucked an alien. TWICE.

“That is correct. I was able to latch on to our current location and find the most probable location of your birth in order to find your language so we can communicate.” He tilted his head down at her, studying her reaction to all this.

“You’re human.” His eyes seemed to regain their spark when he said this, and he was smirking at her, as if he thought this was a hilarious fact.

“Of course, I’m human!” Stephenie snapped. “What I want to know is if you’re supposed to be keeping away from the natives of my galaxy, then how the hell did I end up on this ship?” Now that was the part that just didn’t make sense. Obviously, someone was not following the rules.

“That… I do not know.” The alien named Ee-rah frowned.

“But I vow on my honor as a Toxhocan that I will find who is responsible for this.” He clinched his fist, placed it upon his chest, and bowed to her.

If any old human guy did this, Stephenie would be unable to hold back her cringe…

However, it looked alluring when Ee-rah did it.

She shook her head. FOCUS, she told herself. “Toxh-what?”

“Toxhocan,” Ee-rah explained. “The Trades of my tribe and I are from the planet Toxhoca. It is a place many light years away from here.”

“Is it like Earth?” Stephenie didn’t bother to hide her interest. She had never spoken to an alien before or even so much as dreamed of another planet that sustained life like Earth. That was something that happened on TV, like in Star Trek, but never in real life… Or so she had thought.

“No,” he said quickly. “It is very dry- what would be considered desert land on your planet. Except during winter… The winters there are very brutal and they last for many turns of the moons. That’s why we’ve made this trade; because the summers last so long, the harshness of the cold season is always shocking, especially to the young ones who have never experienced it.

We need everything we can to prepare the tribe. ”

“Is that why you don’t wear a lot of clothes?” Stephenie’s cheeks warmed when she realized that neither of them had gotten dressed after their second go. She wrapped her arms around her chest, shielding her breasts from the alien in front of her. Not that it was something he hadn’t seen before.

“Yes,” Ee-rah replied. “It’s not practical in such a hot climate. You, however, wear far too many clothes. I like you better like this.” His eyes slid up and down her body hungrily.

“What did you guys trade?” She couldn’t hold back her curiosity.

“Seeds. They grow very well in dry climates and are coveted, especially by those on dying planets. They gave us a mineral that generates heat, like what your people would call a fire, in return.”

A heat generating mineral? Huh. That’s interesting… Before she could get distracted again, Stephenie quickly changed the subject. “So, what do we do now? Can you take me home?”

Ee-rah was taken aback by the idea. “Take you…back to Earth? But why? We have found each other, my mate. We must stay together. And surely you understand that I, being a Toxhocan, cannot stay with you there. It is forbidden, just as I said.”

“I don’t understand this whole ‘Mate’ thing,” Stephenie said a little harsher than she meant.

She started to pace the room. Now that she was able to communicate with Ee-rah and she knew where she was, she realized just how close to home they were.

She had to get back. Hell, she’d even take her damned psychology exam if it meant being able to go home. “What are you talking about?”

“We have Mated,” Ee-rah explained slowly. He stepped in her path, stopping her pacing, and pulled her close against his chest. Her head barely reached his pectorals. “You have given yourself to me…and in turn I have given myself to you. We are Mated.”

“Well…” Fuck. So maybe the whole seducing an alien hadn’t been the best idea.

“Ee-rah, you’re a wonderful…person,” she didn’t know what other word to use, “but I can’t stay here.

I have to go back home. Like you said, I’m not even supposed to be here.

Someone obviously broke some rules if they managed to beam up a human when you’re not supposed to be interacting with them.

” She tried to gently remove herself from his embrace, but it was nearly impossible with his strength.

“I’m sure you can find another Mate and you’ll forget all about me. ”

“No,” Ee-rah growled, suddenly very serious. “When a Toxhocan Mates, we Mate for life.”

“FUCK.”
